OMG!!! I seriously just TIED Jimmie Johnson in the Coke Zero 400 and didn't get the win. It said I finished in second, +0.00 behind the leader.
Kentucky is next, and Johnson took the lead in the standings by one point.

Made it to the Chase with Greg Biffle. Now, with 10 wins I am the points leader at the Chase start. Johnson had 3 wins when I got my 6th in the season, and he got to 6 before I got another. But I won 3 straight and like 4 of the last 5 before the Chase started, to erase a 39 point deficit that Johnson had on me after I finished 43rd at Watkins Glen and he won that race, LOL.

Yeah... I won't be buying. After the delayed game, the crappy game, the delayed patch that screwed it up worse, the free DLC turning into paid DLC, and the lack of care to create a third patch to fix their own problem... screw 'em.
Unless they sell it for .99... I won't buy it.

MS said they needed 2 paid DLC releases before releasing a free one. That's why it was still free on the PS3 and included in the patch

And besides, I'm glad the patch was held up until it was perfect. I'd rather ONE patch than them release something broken, and have to patch that 5, 6, 7 times after the fact.

That's why it was still free on the PS3 and included in the patch I don't know what you were playing, but it didn't fix everything... it seemingly made a lot of it worst. Online is pretty much unplayable at this point, and despite what their "brilliant" forum mods want to say, it isn't everyone's internet. Fair enough, but they should have never EVER made a promise that they couldn't keep. They should have never stated DLC was going to be free, the fact that they said it would be free and it wasn't (no matter whose fault) was crap. Plus, there have been games that have had no prior DLC that had their first DLC free... so I still dont' buy that crap. And as far as the patch being perfect, that is a joke. The game is still broken and requires yet another patch, that they don't even have the balls enough to say won't come out. Enough "maybe" or "possibly" response, tell the truth: yes or no. That simple. They won't have A LOT of fans money again, so when 2012 flops and there isn't another NASCAR game released... oh well.

Okay so why was it free on the PS3 still? If it was Eutechnyx, then it would have been charged DLC on PS3 as well. So they had every single intention on it being free for both consoles. Microsoft screwed them. You cannot be seriously pushing it back on them, and saying that they basically lied. It wasn't their fault. And the 2 paid DLC came from Microsoft, was quoted on the ETX board.
The game's not broken. It was before. No caution flags for ANYTHING, and now they come out for a spin, a crash, everything. Qualifying is harder, which was TOO EASY before the patch. Pole every single time, at least for me. It's more realistic than anything EA would have made for a NASCAR game. And simply put, don't buy NTG2012. Nobody is gonna force you to. I will because this one from ETX is better than any EA NASCAR game, and they had the license for 13 years, which saw 17 games.
And there are plenty of people that will buy NTG2012. There will be nothing to worry about there.

You are telling me my opinion is wrong for a second time, that is nice of you. Also, I said in my first post about NTG '12 that I wouldn't be buying, so I don't know why you are telling me "don't buy it" when I made it quite clear I wasn't... And just because it was better than an EA game, that really isn't saying much. There is still a TON of stuff wrong with the game, you don't have to agree... but don't tell me that my opinion is basically wrong. EDIT: And yes, I can still push it back on them because instead of saying it was going to be free, they should have never stated a price. They should have left it up in the air by saying: "Price will be determined closer to release" and that'd have done it. Matter of fact... wasn't Red Dead's Redemption's FIRST DLC Pack free? I'm pretty sure it was... www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/news/article/5211/first_red_dead_redemption_dlc_details_-_the_outlaws_to_the_end_co-op_mission_pack_coming_in_june_as_free_download/EDIT Again: And if it fixed "everything"... why is an announcement about a third patch "weeks" away, why have they hinted at one, and why are they confirming stuff that patch 3 will fix? Yup...

Yup... Rockstar has also had paid DLC before RDR. Eutechnyx, the developer of the game - SOLE DEVELOPER - had not. Activision is ONLY the publisher, they had ZERO control in making this game. And against about the price, it was less than a week before release that it was still said to be free. Again, Microsoft swooped in at the last minute and made them charge for it. Sony did not. I can guarantee you ETX didn't play favorites with the consoles and charge the 360 users, and not the PS3 users. Microsoft handled it differently with the 360. They had the patch and DLC separate. The patch and DLC were both included as ONE download on the PS3. And....I never told you that your opinion was wrong. I said it fixed everything that I saw wrong with the game. That doesn't say you. "I" does not spell "YOU". But thanks for putting words in my mouth. I appreciate that.

Couple questions...
1)Anyone know if there are any plans about a 2012 game?
2)Is it possible to create custom cars (with custom/own numbers) in this game? If so Im wanting to create some cars from my childhood to use.

If so Im wanting to create some cars from my childhood to use. NASCAR The Game: Inside Line will be out on November 6. And yes you can create custom cars in the game with custom numbers. Head to the NASCAR The Game forum and you can see some of what people have made, custom car wise.

Trophy progress, I am working on: Saddle Up & Hang On and Victory Lane. And by the time I'm finished with the Career mode this run, I'll have the MVP trophy as well. After that, I think I'm done running Career Mode. I found out that when you create a car, whatever manufacturer the driver you have selected in Career mode runs, that's what manufacturer the custom car will be. I made a Goodwrench Chevy, and because I'm running a career with Martin Truex Jr., who drives Toyota, that Goodwrench #3 is a Toyota too.

Ive been wanting a racing game again for awhile and stuff like Need for Speed things never scratch that itch for me. Im browsing the site now, Hopefully I can find some pics. Figured there would be a sticky thread on there. Or Im on the wrong site lol

It's a work in progress. I need to work on making a good Dupont logo, but my efforts thus far have been fruitless. Cannot get a good turnout to save me.

I went on a spree of car making. Two custom #23 cars - USAF and Amazon.com schemes, and I made an Austin Dillion #3 AdvoCare machine. Also copied the #3 Goodwrench Chevy I have, and took the #3 off, and added a #88, so I have a #88 Goodwrench! LMAO!
