Announced today was Clint Bowyer's 3 paint schemes for Inside Line. He has the normal 5 Hour Energy Camry, the NASCAR Unites Camry [most drivers have a NASCAR Unites scheme] and the 2011 National Champions Alabama Crimson Tide scheme. I was shocked to see that one included.
Jeff Burton's set of - I believe they said 4 schemes, will be released tomorrow.

Wow am I loving this game or what?! Inside Line takes what NTG2011 did right and makes it better. Few things:
Gone is NXP, replaced by NASCAR Credits. You use these to buy Career Mode performance upgrades, pre-designed custom schemes, more decal packs for making your own schemes, etc.
AI difficulty is ramped up a bit. I'm running on Medium and it's challenging to say the least. I like that though, I didn't like running away from the pack on NTG2011. Some races there, I'd get to a 6 or 7 second advantage within 5 laps at a track like Dover. That shouldn't happen, and on Inside Line, it doesn't.
Mirror Mode in Paint Booth. With Mirror Mode on, whatever you place on one side will instantly be replicated on the other. No more worrying about matching exact scale, rotation, and position.
All the regular drivers' paint schemes are unlocked from the start.
Career Mode and Season Mode are split. Career Mode, you name your driver and compete as a rookie for sponsorships and such. Season Mode is just that. Pick an established driver and run the schedule.
Victory celebrations are Career Mode only, but are not timed. You can run a Polish Victory Lap! In fact there is a Trophy/Achievement for doing so. And while burning out, you have the checkered flag on the car.
...and the coolest little detail, LoL. At the start of Career and Season Mode races, you hear that familiar phrase by Hall Of Famer Darrell Waltrip.
"BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY! Let's go racin', boys and girls!!"

I like the new Paint Booth. I've made AdvoCare and Goodwrench #3 cars so far and I'm finishing off a #88 TaxSlayer.com car.

I just got this game for Christmas. Im seeing all kinds of custom cars on the Forums using sponsors like Penzoil, Hooters etc but I cant find these anywhere. I read where you cant upload images so how are people getting them? Nothing real flashy but put this together while trying to figure out the whole paint shop thing. I kinda like it. Wish there was an Advance Auto Parts logo though.

Got the game for Christmas. What's the trick to win? I always get last I wish I knew honestly. Daytona and Talladega have always been the "easiest" tracks for me. From Bill Elliott's Nascar Challenge on Nintendo to Nascar 2001 or whatever on Xbox....yet I started my season and had the fastest practice speed, qualifed on the pole, finished like 20th in the Duels and 40th in the 500. The green dropped and they literally went around me on both sides and I was in last before I was into turn 3. I also havent figured out bump drafting. I figured if you just ran up behind them on the back stretch it would push them along. Instead you slam into them and spin everyone out. It seems the easiest tracks for me are the "cookie cutter" tracks. I qualify decently at places like Vegas, Texas, Charlotte and Chicago but the car is a rocket in the races and I end up pulling away from the field.

That's odd. I havent had that problem yet. The only thing Ive noticed that if the assisted brake option is on, the computer has the tendency to "brake check" you in the middle of the track. Its really annoying when you're making up time, gaining on a pack of cars and then you just go into the corner and the computer brakes you and you lose 10-20mph

Don't like brake assist. Don't like it at all.
Anyways the Gen6 DLC has been priced. There will be Inside Line Highlight Challenge packs and 43 new cars, one scheme each car. Each pack and scheme can be bought using in-game tickets. The highlight packs cost 20 tickets each and schemes are 10 each. A pack of 50 tickets runs $4.99 and 5 cars can be gotten that way, therefore each car boils down to $1 each. Now the Inside Line Pass makes alot more sense, because at $25, it's much more economical. Even if it only got you the schemes, that's an $18 savings over buying each car. And, personal.bit, but iyam, that's the kind of discount a "season pass" ought to get you. Not just a measly 10% savings.

@nivro, as for the logos, you have to create custom decals. Some logos do take alot of time and patience but that's the only way to get those licensed logos in game.

Dammit. I have now tried twice to get the trophy for running out of gas and coasting around to pit road and the race abruptly ended close to pit road and I've failed both times. First time, I was going too fast so I understand that. But this second time just today I was still going 30 MPH and I was 20 yards from pit lane and the race cut off. I'm also trying to run a full race at the same time, so being between 70 and 90 laps into 400 at Dover, I just don't immediately wanna restart.

This game is ridiculously popular on here! Is it worth a purchase? If you're a NASCAR fan, yes. Or if you want a racing game not called Need For Speed or Gran Turismo. Worth it IMO. I got it Day 1. It's down to $50 now, I believe. No online pass means you could buy it used and save a few dollars. There is an incoming patch with several fixes, so if you get it pre-patch, don't freak about things.

I finally got a new primary sponsor on my Career mode car. Target threw sponsorship at me for staying atop the point standings for 3 races. I know I have Goodyear waiting in the wings for primary sponsorship too And with Juan Pablo Montoya having Target, I'll probably take Goodyear when the offer comes. Need to lead 2 consecutive laps in another 2 races to get that one.
