Tried a 100-lap race at Martinsville yesterday...eighty laps through, my tire blew out. Black flagged for going too fast through the pits, I hobbled my way back around to finally pit, coming out three laps down. Try as I might, I only got one lap back. A little fun thing to do when you're bored...go to cockpit view (with the steering wheel) and flip your car over. It's HILARIOUS the first time, I promise!

I've had all the fun I can stand 'til the next patch is out. Yup! They said 2 weeks ago that it'd be 1-2 weeks maximum before it was released, because all the testing was done and the patch had been submitted to Microsoft and Sony for testing and approval. When they release the patch, I'll get the game back.

Apparently, they found "bugs" and fixed them and it hasn't even been submitted/resubmitted to Microsoft. Sony? Nobody knows when they'll get it. Great screw-up, Eutexynch.

Aaand now they've been posting Wii videos, if anyone cares, which I doubt.

Aaand now they've been posting Wii videos, if anyone cares, which I doubt. I really don't, about the Wii. They need to get that 2nd patch out. As soon as they do, I'll get the game back. I just got so sick and tired of running the short tracks and getting spun out RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FLAG STAND and not getting a yellow. But an AI car would slow down on the front grass, and stop, and they'd get a yellow.

This game sounds like a lot of fun. I just dont have the money to spend on it knowing I wont play it that often. I might pick it up used though.

I said eff it, and got the game back today. And I played 2 races, one at Kentucky [10 laps] and Kansas [where they are next week, 20 laps] and dammit, even with the bugs that haven't been fixed yet, I REALLY missed playing this game....

Whoa, so you can download the new cars for this year into the game? Im not stuck with a Kevin harvick Shell car? They aren't up yet. It'll be a full pack once they are all ready. From what I've understood, via the Eutechnyx forum, is that they are gonna announce the release date sometime within the next week.

Fingers crossed, everyone, patch #2 has been submitted for approximately the thirteenth time today, let's hope there are no bugs this go-'round and we can get online without random crashes in a week or two.
