Well, as of the last update - 6/11/11 - they said the patch should be submitted to Microsoft by Monday or Tuesday. Yesterday was Tuesday. Let's hope it was submitted....

UPDATE: patch #2 has been re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-resubmitted yesterday. Fingers crossed, everyone!

Patch hasn't been sent to Microsoft, which once it's there, will take 2-3 weeks. So, we're pretty much looking at end of July.
FAIL!

They keep saying 1-2 weeks. Microsoft better approve this thing like pronto the second they get it, with as many times as they've had to pull back from submitting it....

If they would have tested the game this much, instead of worrying about having some iRacing champion playing it, we wouldn't have this problem.
This patch is delaying the DLC being released too, so by my "calculations".
The patch (if submitted on Monday) will take 7-10, working days at Microsoft, pending approval (seriously) to get to us. This will put us, what, about the 18th of July? That's if it's sent Monday.
Then we'll have to wait for the DLC, which we might not see until first week of August. Yeah, so glad I bought this game, ugh.

They said the DLC would be at the end of June....that I don't understand and can't defend. There was nothing wrong with the DLC, or nothing that they let us in on. I am still glad I have this game. Even in its current form, it is still thousands of times better than ANYTHING EA put out from 2003 on. NASCAR Thunder 2003 [2002's game] was the last really, truly, GOOD NASCAR game that EA did. At least in my eyes.

At least in my eyes. I'm assuming that they're holding the DLC, until the game works properly. I don't really know, but I do enjoy the game when it works, but I would have much rather put the $60 into iRacing and done that. I'll stick with rFactor/VHR until this game works, properly.

[quote PS3 and Xbox patches are in test with Activision. We expect 1 extra iteration on PS3. The 360 version, if clean, will submit this week #NTG [/quote]
As per Dave T. with Eutechnyx.

If it happens, it'll be what, second to last week of July? Hey it's closer than we've ever been to getting it. I'm gonna be hopeful here. And I'm looking at it like this....still. At least we are getting a patch, and they are fixing things throughout the life of the game. EA Sports would have taken our money, realized that something was messed up, and said "Oh. We'll fix it in next year's installment" - and then proceed to make strictly cosmetic changes to the following game, and still have the techincal bugs that they promised to fix the year before.

It still has to be tested and approved by Microsoft, so I'm not going to get too excited. I won't believe it until they say "It passed Microsoft" and gives a release date.

It had to pass submission standards, so if it passed Microsoft's submission standards - which all signs are indicating that it has - there shouldn't any more delays.

From Dave's Twitter on submission to Microsoft: "There's always a chance it could be rejected, but you fix what they ask and re-submit. All games go through this process" So, until it's actually confirmed that it has passed Microsoft, I'm not going to celebrate yet. Now, if/when it passed... you will hear me celebrating, lol.

It's passed and officially been submitted to Microsoft. 7-10 days from Eutechnyx was the word and they'd let us know of a possible release date then.

It still has to be approved by Microsoft, they haven't approved it. They'll test it and make sure it is up to their standards, before approving it. That's why I'm not through the roof with excitement, lol
