Just something I thought of.
The finale starts like a normal show, person gets sick is brought into the hospital, they do tests, etc. Then about half way through cut to a bed in a hospital room and House is in that bed hooked up to machines to help him breathe and stay alive. He awakens to everyone's surprise. Cuddy, Wilson, Chase, Foreman and Cameron rush into the room to see that he has awaken.
He had been in a vicodin overdose coma, the overdose happened after he decided that Stacy needed to be with her husband and not him. That night, he overdosed on vicodin and was brought into the hospital and went into a coma.
So everything after Stacy leaving with her husband have just been what has been going through the mind of House the coma patient.
Tritter never existed. Neither did 13 or Taub or Kutner or Cut Throat Bitch, none of the people he was interviewing for new spots. No one new after Stacy left ever existed.
They cut to 6 months later where House is back to practicing medicine and he gets his original team back together and they get a new case and start talking about it and the show ends.
Thought it was an interesting way to end the show.
