October 24th 2010.
Non-Title Intercontinental Dolph Ziggler def. United States Champion Daniel Bryan. Much like last year, a mid-card champion vs. champion match opened up the show in once again a very entertaining match. The teams were playing for points in the Bragging Rights tournament, which features five matches. These two battled for a solid ten minutes before Bryan nailed an enziguri and attempted to lock in the LeBell lock but Ziggler handed out a finger to the eye. Bryan fell back in pain as Ziggler proceeded to nail the ZigZag for the victory.
Bragging Rights Tournament: SmackDown 1 – 0 RAW
Title Changes Hands on a Countout or Disqualification Natalya def. Divas Champion Michelle McCool w/Layla to WIN the Divas Championship. A pretty good rematch from Hell in a Cell. After Michelle got away with her title at the treacherous pay-per-view Natalya has been looking for revenge and after Layla was ejected from ringside Michelle McCool knew she was in great peril and it wasn’t long until Nattie hit a dropkick and lock in the Sharpshooter. McCool tapped out and Natalya became new Divas Champion.
Bragging Rights Tournament: SmackDown 1-1 RAW
CM Punk def. Edge. A great match, very entertaining. Both men are known to put on a good show and they lived up to that tonight. Edge was traded to SmackDown thanks to RAW’s Anonymous General Manager on the Hell in a Cell edition of RAW and in return SmackDown offered up CM Punk to which RAW accepted. The two were back and forth will Edge and CM Punk kicking out of their opponents respective finishers. The ending saw Edge connect with the Edge-a-cution and taunt the spear but Punk countered crouching down low so Edge slid onto his back. Punk stood up and delivered a second Go To Sleep to put RAW ahead.
Bragging Rights Tournament: SmackDown 1-2 RAW
WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes def. Mark Henry and Evan Bourne to retain. Three different styles collided in this match, brawling, power and highflying and it made for a pretty decent outing. The Champions controlled the majority of the match-up, not a large majority however. Bourne was grounded by McIntyre as Rhodes tried to match Bourne athletically even reversing a springboard into a dropkick. The go-home-sequence saw Bourne break and tag out to Mark Henry who ran in and bulldozed Cody Rhodes. Henry lifted Rhodes for the Worlds Strongest Slam but McIntyre made the blind tag as Henry nailed the move only for Drew to come in and connect with a Future Shock to retain.
Bragging Rights Tournament: SmackDown 2 – 2 RAW.
WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett w/John Cena to retain the WWE Championship. A great match, which could’ve been the main event. Wade Barrett won an opportunity at the WWE Championship on the first RAW following Hell in a Cell, prevailing over nineteen men in a battle royal with major help from Nexus’ newest member John Cena who was threatened with the termination of his contract if he did not follow Barrett’s orders. Over the next few weeks Orton and Nexus would go back and forth with Cena reluctant to listen to Wade. In this one Cena didn’t made a move. The two fought it out fairly until a disruption in the match as the referee was knocked into the corner. Wade hit a big boot and ordered Cena to get into the ring. Randy slowly got to his feet as Barrett yelled at John to hit Randy with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena got Orton onto his shoulders and waited as Barrett screamed at Cena more and more. Eventually Orton slipped off Cena’s back and pushed John away. The referee turned around to see Randy Orton hit Wade Barrett with an RKO and retain the title.
The Nexus subsequently ran down to the ring as Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater and David Otunga beat down Randy Orton. Michael McGillicutty then joined them along with Husky Harris as the beatdown continued. Slater screamed at John Cena to join in but Cena refused causing Slater run at Cena only be met with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena proceeded to take Husky Harris and David Otunga out of the ring before targeting Justin Gabriel and McGillicutty. But it was to no avail as Gabriel and McGillicutty beat down their fellow Nexus brethren. Gabriel ascended to the top rope but noticed that Orton was getting to his feet so he leapt off at the WWE Champion only to have it reversed into and RKO. McGillicutty met the same fate before Orton helped Cena to his feet. Barrett walked up to Cena fuming as the two went nose to nose. Wade looked at Cena then Orton then Cena again and said to Cena ‘come on, let’s go’. Wade Barrett and John Cena walked off together to the back as Barrett was obviously too intimidated by Randy Orton to do anything.
Sheamus, The Miz, John Morrison, R-Truth, Tyson Kidd, Ted DiBiase w/Maryse and Goldust def. Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, David Hart Smith, Kofi Kingston and MVP. A great tag team match, which surprisingly didn’t get clustered at all. There are many feuds inside of the teams as in Sheamus versus John Morrison over the past few weeks ad DiBiase versus Goldust over the Million Dollar Championship. Rey Msyterio and Alberto Del Rio haven’t been the best of buddies over on SmackDown. The Hart Dynasty split just a couple weeks ago resulting in a trade to SmackDown for DH Smith. Anyway, this one saw everyone get some in-ring time certain people more than others. Alberto Del Rio attacked Rey Mysterio mid way through the match locking in an armbar on the outside only for Kofi Kingston and MVP to break things up. The finish here saw Kidd battling Jack Swagger as Tyson Kidd hit a hurricanrana on Swagger into the ropes. Kidd tagged out to Morrison who attempted the Chuck Kick on Swagger as Del Rio tagged himself in. John Morrison and Alberto fought it out until both men took each other down with a clothesline. The two slowly got to their feet and scrambled over to their corners. The Miz and MVP were tagged in, after this a huge fight broke out as DiBiase and Goldust brawled, DH Smith and Tyson brawled, Mysterio and Del Rio fought and everyone else just attacked each other. Sheamus took this opportunity to tag himself in and level MVP with the broe kick to pick up the win for RAW.
Sheamus grabbed the Bragging Rights trophy and ran backstage after picking up the crucial pinfall for RAW.
Bragging Rights Tournament: SmackDown 2 - 3 RAW
Buried Alive Match World Heavyweight Champion Kane w/Paul Bearer def. The Undertaker. A pit was set up for this one with a Casket next to it. This match was set-up to finish the long and winding rivalry between the two brothers. The winner would be World Champion; the loser was to be Buried Alive. Kane is two and nought over his clearly weaker brother in competition and looked to make it a hat trick tonight. The Undertaker dominated his brother early on, coming quickly out of the starting blocks. ‘Taker planted Kane through the announce table with a chokeslam but couldn’t drag him all the way onto the stage. Later on Kane was in control and used the metal crowd barrier for a backbreaker on his brother before climbing onto it and leaping off for a clothesline. The two kept fighting and ‘Taker looked to finish his brother off but Bearer came to the aid of Kane shining the urn in ‘taker’s face. Undertaker seemed effected but that was not the reality as Undertaker overcame the power rolling his eyes back into his head and grasping the urn and pushing Bearer backwards only to turn around into an uppercut from Kane. Kane took the urn and nailed ‘Taker over the head with it before lifting him up for a Tombstone on the steel. Kane rolled ‘Taker into the Casket and pushed the Casket into the pit to win the match. Post-match, the cement truck drove in as Kane ordered for cement to be poured over Undertaker’s casket. The cement began to fill the pit as Kane held his title high in the air, the stage breathed fire and Bragging Rights came to a close.

WWE Bragging Rights: Sunday 24th October 2010...No segments in between matches is a disappointment. Dolph Ziggler beating Daniel Bryan is obviously the best decision to go for, but the WWE Intercontinental Champion is definitely more built than the extremely inferior WWE United States Champion. Good setup. Natalya winning the WWE Unified Divas Championship is a little passable as Michelle McCool only won the belt last month. I did like the title change on a count out or disqualification basis, but at this rate I'd have had Layla banned from ringside too. Can't see Natalya's reign lasting too long. CM Punk and Edge had a good match but really didn't make too much sense other than the fact they traded positions on brands. Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes beating Mark Henry and Evan Bourne is realistic, good WWE Tag Team Championship defense. Randy Orton beating Wade Barrett was predictable, nothing too important. John Cena and Barrett leaving without The Nexus...odd. Team RAW winning the trophy is alright I suppose, good group too. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd going solo is too good to be true. Nicely rounded teams though. Can say though the Buried Alive match is abolutely terrible and the Concrete Crypt spot was as absymal as it was in Great American Bash 2004. This match was intended for Survivor Series; it serves as too rushed for this, considering it's only three weeks after a Hell in a Cell match. Absolute dislike, you could have done anything better than this. But that finish to the pay-per-view, not only was it unrealistic, but it made me feel dumb reading it. I get it's a way to hold the storyline but if 'Taker just no sells it and it turns to mind games, I'll be disappointed. It also broke the WWE PG pattern. A good show, bar the main event. I'll be looking to see where this goes.

-Ziggler over Bryan is the right call and as Sam Carter a.k.a DTP said, the IC is more prestigous than the US. -Natalya over McCool is great to have her win the titles. Long awaited there. -CM Punk over Edge is great. Hope this means that Punk is in for some kind of push now. -McIntyre and Rhodes over Bourne and Henry was expected. -Randy Orton over Wade Barrett is cool. Hoping to see Cena drop out of Nexus or either staying heel when he's out though. -Surprised that Team RAW actually won considering all the feuds they had. Nice swerve. -Kane over Undertaker is good since Kane most likely get him at WrestleMania. -Good PPV; looking forward to your continuation.

October 25th 2010.
‘We Are One’ by 12 Stones hits and Nexus leader Wade Barrett leads the Nexus; Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris to the ring as well as John Cena. Cena is smiling and high fives fans on the way to the ring to Barrett’s discuss. Once they are in-ring Barrett tells Cena how is too late to turn himself around, he’s gone to far and as the general manager said last month, he will be fired. Barrett says that Cena is just a rebellious weight on the Nexus and cannot wait for the email that reads; Cena your Fired!
Right on cue, the email sounds and Michael Cole stands up ‘may I have your attention please, I have received and email from the general manager’. John Cena gulps as Cole reads out loud. ‘And I quote, Wade Barrett while John Cena may have attacked the majority of the Nexus group last night, he was performing an act to save the champion of this brand. On top of that you did not give Cena any orders, which he was forced to follow so he shall not be punished. John Cena followed the order you gave which was to leave. Cena is still a part of the Nexus and will continue to be so tonight Barrett you will team with John Cena to face the two RAW Champions, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan in the main event!’ Barrett is not happy to hear that Cena is still employed and kicks the ropes, Gabriel goes over to calm him down but Barrett pushes him away. Justin nudges him back and tells Barrett to settle down so Wade orders him to leave. John Cena seems happy about the announcement and the tension in Nexus.
CM Punk, the man who beat Edge last night at Bragging Rights earning a crucial point for his brand, is taping his wrists backstage, his match is next.
Commercial.
The Miz is backstage, he announces that at the Survivor Series he will be a team captain for RAW’s match. He will announce his partners every week for the next few weeks starting with tonight. You see, the General Manager has decided to repeat history this year, as the opposing teams captain shall be John Jannetty-Morrison. Miz’s first partner will be facing Morrison later on.
CM Punk def. Tyson Kidd. A great first match for the show. The Dynasty split is definitely benefiting Tyson Kidd, as shown here with a close match against CM Punk. Punk is looking to get back on the right track towards championship gold now since he beat Edge at Bragging Rights. The finish here saw Tyson Kidd springboard and flip at Punk taking him down, Kidd followed that up with a Hurricanrana and tried to lock in the Sharpshooter but Punk put his feet to Tyson’s chest and push him away, scrambling onto one knee to collect Kidd as he ran back for the Go To Sleep and the win.
CM Punk motioned the WWE Championship around his waist as the crowd severely booed him out.
Natalya is backstage with Josh Matthews. Matthews asks Natalya how it feels to become Divas Champion for the first time. Natalya says she feels awesome. There was no way those witches were walking out with the championship again because she was out for redemption. Michelle McCool walks Layla trailing behind her. McCool asks Natalya why she’s the witch when she not the one with the pointy nose, the manly voice and terrible catchphrase. Michelle announces that she’s cashing in her rematch clause for Friday’s SmackDown and Natalya better be there to defend her title or McCool will regain her title via forfeit. Either way, Michelle explains, Natalya only has five more days left with that championship.
Commercial.
The Dudebusters def. Mark Henry and Evan Bourne. Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft have yet to lose since making to move to RAW and continued their streak tonight. Henry and Bourne were still down after their loss at the hands of the tag champions at Bragging Rights and were looking for something to lift their spirits. Henry and Bourne were on a hot streak in the closing moments of the match after Bourne tagged in Henry following many electrifying moves. Henry began to dominate Trent as drop him with a powerslam but Caylen ran into the ring and attacked Evan Bourne on the apron, causing Henry to turn his focus to Croft and headbutt him out of the ring giving Barreta time to regroup and bounce off the ropes for a high-flying knee to the back of the skull and the three count.
Trent Barreta slid out of the ring, retrieving his partner before the two ran up the ramp.
Wade Barrett is backstage with Nexus. He first focuses on Justin Gabriel telling him that if he ever crosses Wade again he’ll kick Justin’s rear-end right out of the group and then Gabriel will become just like Darren Young, forgotten. Gabriel scowls at Wade before returning to the back of the pack. Barrett then turns to John Cena. He tells John that he’s ordering right not the work with him tonight in the main event, to be a fully-fledged part of Nexus and that’s final, the General Manager can’t say Barrett didn’t give him an order because this time he did. Wade says that if John doesn’t followed his ordered he’ll be fired, and Cena knows it. Wade Barrett orders Nexus to follow him out as David Otunga, Heath Slater, Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris follow them out. Justin Gabriel holds John Cena back for a moment and whispers something in his ear. John smiles, pat’s Gabriel’s back and nods before the two leave.
Commercial.
John Morrison’s music hits to a huge pop from the crowd. The Guru of Greatness and leader of RAW’s face team makes his way down to the ring to face Miz’s first announced partner. The Miz’s music now hits as he makes his way out with Alex Riley. Miz tells Morrison not to worry, no need to crap his pants just yet because he’s not facing him tonight he will be facing this man.
John Morrison def. Sheamus w/The Miz and Alex Riley. Yes, The Miz’s first partner is the ‘Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus. Morrison smirked as Sheamus made his way down to the ring, remembering back to their very close Falls Count Anywhere match before Night of Champions. The two guys put on an entertaining and once again close back and forth bout. The Miz was in Sheamus’ corner for the match but that did not faze Morrison at all until Miz began to get up on the apron. The go-home-sequence saw Sheamus whip Morrison into the corner and run at him only for John to duck and spin Sheamus around for a monkey flip and a standing shooting star press. Morrison dragged Sheamus over to the corner and looked for Starship Pain but The Miz jumped on the apron distracting John Morrison. Morrison swung at Miz but ‘The Awesome One’ dropped down onto the mats below. Morrison turned straight into a harsh Broe Kick from Sheamus. Sheamus could’ve covered but no he decided to lift Morrison for the Crucifix Powerbomb instead. Big mistake, Morrison jumped as Sheamus tried to throw him and hooked his feet around Sheamus’ back to roll him up for the three count.
Morrison didn’t even have time to register that he had won as The Miz ran into the ring and from behind planted Morrison with a Skull Crushing Finale. Riley, Miz and then Sheamus began stomping on John viciously. Sheamus decided to deliver a second Broe Kick. Miz told Alex Riley to ascend the top rope and he did as he was ordered. However, The Great Khali strutted down to the ring [as fast as he could] and pushed Riley off the top rope to the outside before climbing into the ring, pushing Miz to one side to deliver a hard-chop to Sheamus. Khali then fixed on The Miz as he lifted him up for a Chokebomb onto Miz’s Money in the Bank Briefcase. The Great Khali helped Morrison up to his feet as John was handed a microphone. Morrison said ‘Miz, I’d like to introduce, my first team-mate, The Great Khali’. The crowd cheered as Khali roared to take us out to a commercial.
Commercial.
Daniel Bryan, the United States Champion, is shown backstage in a locker room. He walks over and sits down. He quickly notices the object sitting next to his; it’s the WWE Championship. Hesitantly he picks it up and looks into it smirking. Randy Orton sits down next to him and says ‘just gotta wait a little while yet kid’. Bryan hands back the title, nods and leaves.
R-Truth def. Ted DiBiase w/Maryse DiBiase has been having issues with Goldust over the Million Dollar Championship in recent weeks. Ted never even intended to defend the championship; it was more of a prop. However, Goldust has just been too attracted to the gold. Maryse was looking in all directions during the match to ensure Goldust didn’t turn up. Truth was on fire though and took advantage of Ted wariness. In the end DiBiase locked in the Million Dollar Dream and R-Truth looked like he was ready to tap but Goldust’s theme hit and the gold lights turned on. DiBiase let Truth go and screamed for Goldust to show himself but nothing happened and Ted turned right into a Lie Detector elbow so Truth could pick up the win.
Commercial.
We come back from the break and Ted DiBiase was furious, he grabbed his belt and then demanded a mic. Ted DiBiase tells us that this is ridiculous, it’s been going on for too long now and it needs to stop. He’s challenging Goldust to a match next week and hell he’ll even put this worthless piece of junk on the line, after all it was only his fathers. DiBiase holds up the Million Dollar Championship. Ted goes onto say ‘what do you say, Goldie?’ In typical challenge accepting fashion Goldust struck Ted from behind with the Final Cut. Goldust accepts and walks over at Maryse, freaking her out but he doesn’t do anything and just leaves.
Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov are backstage when Jimmy and Jey Uso, with Tamina, confront them. Tamina thrusts herself forward at Santino as if she was pushed. Tamina ‘thanks’ Marella as Santino blushes and struggles to get the words ‘no problem’ out. Jimmy and Jey roll their eyes and leave as Tamina strokes Santino’s cheek. Kozlov is left chuckling after Marella faints.
Divas Champion Natalya def. Alicia Fox. A short divas match-up between the new Divas Champion and the grooviest diva in the WWE. Natalya dominated the majority of the match with Fox having few streaks of aggression. In the end Fox attempted a big boot, which was countered as Natalya caught her leg, tripped her over and locked in the Sharpshooter, which forced Fox to tap out.
Commercial.
Wade Barrett and John Cena w/The Nexus def. WWE Champion Randy Orton and United States Champion Daniel Bryan. A huge main event tonight on RAW, the two most well known members of the Nexus took on RAW’s champion in the main event. Nexus surrounded ringside incase any unprecedented event were to occur. John Cena worked will Barrett the whole match without hesitation hoping that someday he’d get something out of working with Nexus. Wade was constantly shouting orders and Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan worked there hardest to pick up a win. Wade Barrett worked hard over both Randy and Daniel after losing out to Orton at Bragging Rights and after Daniel Bryan joined the rebellion against the Nexus. The ending minutes of this match saw Daniel Bryan fighting John Cena, as Bryan held his own against the former WWE Champion. John Cena eventually reversed a Bulldog attempted connecting with the Protobomb and then the Five-Knuckle Shuffle. John Cena taunted the Attitude Adjustment but as Bryan got to his feet Wade Barrett tagged himself in and connected with the Wasteland to pick up the victory for his team.
Randy Orton came into the ring to aid Daniel Bryan but was booted down by Wade Barrett as the rest of the Nexus came into the ring to assault Orton; Heath Slater connecting with his neckbreaker while McGillicutty planted Daniel Bryan with the McGillicutter. The beatdown continued until Barrett ordered John Cena to join in but Cena was reluctant and after a few more orders, he refused and stepped back. Barrett got in Cena’s face before Otunga handed him a microphone. ‘Cena, you were told that if you did not follow my orders you would be fired, now you will face the punishment. General Manager, send the damn email.’
And with that the message alert sounds. Michael Cole steps up to the podium, races through his catchphrases and begins to read. ‘Wade Barrett, I am sorry to inform you for the second time tonight that John Cena will remain under WWE contract. I cannot punish someone for choosing not to attack a co-worker or friend. However, due to your post-match unneeded actions I have decided to punish you instead.' Wade Barrett is fuming as you can see John Cena and even Justin Gabriel smiling in the background. ‘You see, in three weeks time at the Survivor Series there will be three traditional Survivor Series match, a RAW match-up, a SmackDown match-up and a third match-up. In that third match up I will be giving John Cena one last chance to free himself from the Nexus.’ The crowd go wild at the announcement. ‘Cena will have to place together a team to face the Nexus elimination style but it cannot be anyone who will be participating in the RAW or SmackDown matches that night. If John Cena wins he is once again solo and will no longer be Nexus. But, Wade, Wade if you win, John Cena will remain in the Nexus. He will remain in the Nexus forever.’ Barrett is still furious and he and Nexus leave as Michael Cole steps down from the podium. John Cena, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan pose for the crowd to end the show.

-Interesting that Cena wasn't punished. I can expect Cena/Barrett at SS to try to get out. -Punk over Kidd is cool for some momentum needed. Don't like Hart Dynasty split -The Dudebusters over Bourne and Henry is interesting, but they are a credible team. -Morrison over Sheamus is something I won expect from the biggest Morrison fan I know. -R-Truth over Ted is interesting. As is Morrison with Khali. Hope you push Ted in the future. -Natalya over Fox was the right call since she just became the champ. -Great main event, Cena and Barrett winning. Hope that Cena is freed from Nexus. -Good show; Survivor Series should be cool.

October 29th 2010 Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to another edition of Friday Night SmackDown! As Greenday ‘Know your Enemy’ plays us into the show. Grisham reminds us that tonight the Divas Champion; Natalya will be in action as she battles Michelle McCool over the title. MVP will face Dolph Ziggler one on one in non-title action and Kane, The World Heavyweight Champion, is in the house.
And on that note, Kane's music hits as the Big Red Monster, who defeated his brother for the third and possibly final time at Bragging Rights stomped down to the ring. Kane says that he told us so, he spoke the truth, and he tried to tell us that The Undertaker was weak. That the Undertaker was weaker than him, that the devil preferred Kane over his old and tiring brother and the exclamation point last night finished Undertaker’s long and winding story in the WWE. Kane says he’ll soldier on as the most unstoppable, indestructible, powerful and dominant force in the industry. ‘You Think You Know Me’ suddenly whispers through the arena and Edge makes his way down to the ring. He tells the WWE Universe that lately things obviously haven’t been going his way, he was quickly eliminated in the WWE Championship Match at Night of Champions, been mistreated by the General Manager of RAW and lost to CM Punk at Bragging Rights. But, the good thing, the good thing is that he is now on SmackDown. If he weren’t caught up with CM Punk, he would’ve mentioned this already. He’s really glad to be back on the blue brand, his home and now that he’s home he can regain his thrown. Edge puts it out there that he wants a title match against Kane tonight because he knows that Kane is not indestructible or unstoppable and he is definitely spearable. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long wanders out to the stage. He says he understands what Edge is getting at but Kane will not be defending his title until the Survivor Series. For tonight, Edge will be taking part in a Triple Threat Match against Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio; the winner will face Kane at the Survivor Series. Teddy Long leaves as Edge drops his mic and squares up to Kane before leaving to his theme.
Commercial.
Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes come out to the ring ready for action with the titles draped over their shoulders. JTG makes his way out to the stage as one half of their opponents to a nice pop. JTG’s theme fades out and JTG points to the entrance only for his theme to restart and Shad Gaspard make his way out to the stage. The duo shake hands and walk down to the ring, Rhodes and McIntyre are shocked.
WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes def. Shad Gaspard and JTG. Shad Gaspard and JTG were back and meant business as they looked to get straight into contention for the coveted titles. JTG and Gaspard dominated a portion of the match, as they looked better than ever almost finishing Rhodes with an STO only for McIntyre to break up the pinfall. In the end JTG leaped off the top towards McIntyre but Drew ducked and JTG hit hard. McIntyre quickly lifted JTG for the Future Shock and the pinfall.
MVP is being backstage he says that for too long he’s been out of a title picture, he’s not been his successful self. Well starting tonight, that’s going to change because after he beats Ziggler he’s going to go on to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time.
Commercial.
Michelle McCool and Layla walk down to the ring. Michelle tells Natalya that time’s up she needs to comeout comeout wherever she is because McCool is cashing in her rematch clause right now.
Natalya def. Michelle McCool w/Layla to retain the Divas Championship. A good match for divas standards. No one really expected a win for Michelle as Natalya has been on fire lately. Layla almost got Michelle disqualified on a few occasions to the point where Michelle yelled at her best friend and partner which allowed Nattie to roll Michelle up but for only a two count. McCool looked like she was closing in but Natalya rolled out of the Faithbreaker to lock in the Sharpshooter to which Michelle tapped out.
Natalya left with the divas title to the delight of the crowd, as McCool was furious that she no longer had a chance at winning the title.
Chavo Guerrero is seen backstage, he spots RAW Superstar Primo hanging out with his NXT Rookie AJ Lee. Chavo approaches Primo with an idea. Chavo says that neither of them have had a lot f success on their own lately but they’ve won championships when they have been in teams. Guerrero asks Primo if he wants to tag with him. Primo thinks this is a great idea and the two shakehands.
Commercial.
Curt Hawkins bursts into Teddy Long’s office, he wants to know why he isn’t involved in a match tonight. Teddy says that he just doesn’t have enough room on the card for Hawkins but if he’s that desperate for a match he can, make one for next week. Hawkins tells Long to carry on. Theodore tells Hawkins that next week on SmackDown he will face Kofi Kingston. The crowd pop, as Hawkins looks relatively happy to be facing such a skilled opponent.
MVP def. Dolph Ziggler via DQ in a non-title match. A great first hour main event in a repeat from the first SmackDown on SyFy match which was abruptly ended by the Nexus. A win for MVP here would slot him straight into a title match with Ziggler while a loss for MVP would improve Ziggler’s stats as Intercontinental Champion. MVP countered a ZigZag attempt buy hanging tight onto the ropes before MVP connected with the Ballin’ elbow drop. MVP flung Ziggler into the corner and attempted the Players Boot but Ziggler ducked and slipped out of the ring. MVP followed Dolph to the outside but was met with a belt shot to the forehead to which the referee rung the bell.
Ziggler slid MVP back into the ring and dropped the belt on the floor. Ziggler attempted a ZigZag but once again it was countered. As Ziggler got to his feet MVP nailed him with the 305 right onto the belt. MVP then lifted the Intercontinental Championship high in the air; his quest for the title has seemingly begun.
Commercial.
David Hart Smith and Jack Swagger w/The Swagger Soaring Eagle def. Kofi Kingston and Kaval. A nice mid-card talent match. David Hart Smith is a beast and the Hart Dynasty split is benefiting both sides of the former tandem. Kaval still has his title shot for any championship since he won NXT Season Two. Kofi Kingston has had little to do since finishing with Dolph Ziggler and coming out unsuccessful. Swagger hit Kofi Kingston with a Belly-to-Belly suplex for just a two count and has the Gutwrench Powerbomb countered into a Hurricanrana. Kaval tagged in and nailed a standing stomp to the chest and then a springboard moonsault. He ascended the top rope for the Warriors Way but the Swagger Soaring Eagle tugged the ropes out of the referee’s view and Kaval fell. David Hart Smith tagged in and finished Kaval off with a sit-out spinebuster.
The team of Jack Swagger and David Hart Smith ensued with a beatdown post-match as Swagger hit Kofi with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. The two set Kaval on the top rope when The Big Show’s music hit and the Worlds Largest Athlete wandered down to the ring. He pushed Smith and Swagger down to their backsides before planting David Hart Smith with a Chokeslam. Kaval began to stand up on the top rope and delivered a Warriors Way. Swagger tried to run but Big Show grabbed him and battered him with a stiff punch. Swagger turned straight into a Trouble in Paradise! The Big Show, Kaval and Kofi Kingston stood tall as we headed out to a commercial.
Commercial.
Layla is shown backstage, she looks uncomfortable as he walks into Teddy Long’s office. She tells Teddy Long that she was the one that defeated Beth Phoenix to win the championship a while back, not Michelle, so why was Michelle he one who was Divas Champion? Layla feels that she deserves at rematch at her title, which she never lost. Long tells Layla that she’s one hundred percent right, Michelle never earned the title in the first place so he’s giving Layla a rematch for the title and it will be at the Survivor Series! Layla hugs Teddy and creeps out, scared that Michelle might find her.
Ezekiel Jackson def. Chris Masters Everyone was shocked to see the surprise return of Ezekiel Jackson on SmackDown. Masters and Jackson put on a good power and brawl based fight for the crowd. Masters hit Jackson with many punches to the gut but the big guy wouldn’t go down as Jackson powered over Chris with a clothesline. Jackson then lifted Masters up for a Powerslam before capping it all off with the Book of Ezekiel and the three count.
Ezekiel Jackson roared post-match, as a signal of strength. The last ever ECW Champion will be a forced to be reckoned with.
Alberto Del Rio is backstage with Josh Matthews, Matthews asks Del Rio on his thoughts about his opponents tonight. Alberto Del Rio calls Edge a very old man. He is not fresh, he is not agile enough, he has had a great career and should just call it a day before Del Rio ends it himself. Rey Mysterio, Del Rio’s little Chihuahua is not tough obstacle, he’ll bark and bark and naw at your ankles but really will to nothing more than irritate him to the point where he has to put the damn doggy down.
Commercial.
Edge def. Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio to become Number One Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. An excellent main event bout, with both of Alberto Del Rio’s opponents hating him Del Rio was at a disadvantage. From the get go Edge and Mysterio teamed up to take out Alberto as Mysterio stood on Edge’s shoulders to hit a splash on Del Rio before Mysterio hurricanrana’ed Rio right into a Big Boot from Edge. Once Alberto was out of the ring Mysterio and Edge began to fight for the right to face Kane at the Survivor Series as the battle became very unpredictable and back and forth. Edge set Mysterio up top for a superplex only for Alberto Del Rio to slip in and interfere, nailing Edge with a few punches before moving underneath him for a Powerbomb. In turn Edge fell and superplexed Mysterio. Del Rio covered both of his adversaries but for only a two count. The finish of the match saw Mysterio trip both Edge and Alberto Del Rio into the ropes and swing round for the 619. Edge ducked but Del Rio got a face full of Mysterio. Edge pretended as if he was hit as Mysterio springboard off the top rope as he did Edge leaped forward and nailed Mysterio with a mid-air spear right onto Del Rio, Edge covered both men to win the match.
Edge stood tall post-match as Kane’s pyro hit and the World Heavyweight Champion ran down to the ring, the two began trading blows and Kane got the upper-hand, lifting Edge for the chokeslam but Edge reversed the move into an Edge-a-cution and taunted the spear. Kane, though, wisely slid out of the ring with his championship and held it high in the air as Edge smirked at lucky champion to end the show.

SmackDown, opening segment is decent, but kinda obvious that Edge will win. I hate that you have reunited Cryme Tyme when they've barely been apart. Both could have been used elsewhere. I'm glad Natalya retained the Unified Divas Championship here, as it was on SmackDown. A Chavo and Primo combination is alright, but I don't understand why Primo was on SmackDown in the first place. You wrote that SmackDown on SyFy was last week during the MVP/Ziggler match. Also, a DQ victory is alright, but it's about time a Dolph Ziggler match ended fairly, don't you think? Again, not sure about putting Smith and Swagger over Kaval and Kingston, who are the more talented team. Unsure as to why Ezekiel Jackson would return to SmackDown when he was only recently drafted to Raw. Obvious victory for Edge and a good way to close the show with him and Kane.
Overall, there were tons of decision that I disliked and think that while you are trying to be creative and push certain stars, you should try and keep a tad of realism in some form, just to give it shape.

-Decent opening promo, and I figure Edge will become the number one contender -Really dislike that you brought back Cryme Tyme. I understand that they aren't great apart, but they just broke up recently -Natalya retaining is okay -Hawkins/Kofi sounds original for next week -MVP over Ziggler by DQ should set up an eventual Title match for him, which could be good -THE SWAGGER SOARING EAGLE!! Glad the heels won, but hoping Kaval takes the IC Title from Ziggler. Not sure why Show's involved in this -Layla getting her Title match is great, but I'd hate the break up of LayCool -Jackson returning is good, hope he gets pushed and glad he beat Masters -Obvious win for Edge, his match with Kane should be pretty good
Decent Smackdown, there was a lot I liked and a lot I disliked. I will give this more chances though

-Solid promo here, Kane vs. Edge/Mysterio/Del Rio should be interesting tonight. -Dashingly Sinister over Cryme Tyme is good for them. Hope Cryme Tyme gets a shot at the titles soon. -Natalya over McCool is a pretty cool call. Hope she has a lengthy reign. -Actually solid to see MVP finally get a win unlike the real WWE. Hope he's the next IC Champion. -Hart and Swagger over Kingston and Kaval is fine. It seems pretty realistic. -Ezekiel Jackson over Chris Masters is cool. Nice to see Jackson return too. -Edge winning was pretty much expected. Mysterio/Kane has happened too much, Too early for Del Rio, loved this feud in '05, so this should be good. -Good show; Survivor Series should be nice.

-Alright Jack, as of late you've been floating around the mic-card scene. -Smackdown -Good opening promo to kick off Smackdown, but it's very obvious Edge is going to win tonight. -Random Cryme Tyme return, I wish it would've been done differently. -At least Dashingly Sinister picked up the win. -Natalya retaining the title is good, wish she won it later in the year, though -Chavo/Primo team should be interesting. -Hawkins/Kingston should be a great match-up. -MVP getting the win and setting up for a future title match should be good. -The heels picking up the win is best, but of The Harts. I would've turned Kidd. He seems more of a heel look to me, tbh. -Big show making the save is something 'd like to learn more about. -Zeke returning and winning is nice. -Edge's obvious win is obvious. -Post match run in from Kane with Edge countering is nice, I feel that Edge/Kane will be a good feud. -Decent show, but sometimes it feels that you were just screwing around with EWR.
