WHERE IT ALL BEGAN AGAIN...Sunday, March 14, 2004He tapped, and the bell sounded as twenty thousand screaming fans rabidly darted to their feet, every single person in the arena swaying as the journey of a once young lion, who had been knocked down over and over again, was now on top of the kingdom, and this grizzly veteran now represented as a World Champion. "Chris Benoit is the World Heavyweight Champion!", bursted Jim Ross, as Benoit slowly climbed to his feet, the sweat dripping from his forehead to the canvas, every vain in his body pumped with adrenaline. The official, Earl Hebner handed him his illusive and prestigious championship belt, one made by the Gods as the 'Rabid Wolverine' was christened as the new World Heavyweight Champion. After all torment and anguish, from working in the damned halls of the legendary Stu Hart Dungeon in Calgary, to working in the hardcore dojos of Japan. After all of the speculation and failed attempts; broken dreams and crushed hope; WCW, Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman all previously trying to screw Benoit out of being a World Champion. The Canadian Crippler had done it, but now he was no longer a superstar. He was a legend in the eyes of every fan in Madison Square Garden. His status to be reminded of through all of mankind, and all of sports entertainment until the days that wrestling fades away. Chris Benoit had done it at the twentieth anniversary of WrestleMania. But alas, a friend came to greet Chris, but another superstar turned legend. Eddie Guerrero, a Mexican wrestler who had previously, like Chris captured the big one, the WWE Championship, and now celebrated what Chris was to celebrate. Guerrero came to the ring as both men glared each other in the face: so much history between the two. From tension to hatred in Japan and Mexico, to a strong friendship and that a strong bonding like brotherhood. These two men had done it all and now their paths had crossed again. Chris, tiresome and jacked on adrenaline offered a shaking hand to Eddie, but the WWE Champion didn't accept the World Heavyweight Champion's offer. He went right into Benoit with a powerful hug, Chris returning it as both of these men celebrated to the beautiful pyrotechnics display and confetti from the ceiling of the Garden. These two legends, once thought by the higher ups of every wrestling promotion that they would never make it big enough to be classed a World Champion, had now done it. And they shared this spot together. And these two legends now lead the big company into a new era...

MONDAY NIGHT RAW MARCH 15, 2004 - EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ A video package airs, taking us back to last night at WrestleMania XX; where it did indeed start all over again, as it was an epic main event for the ages, Chris Benoit overcoming all boundaries, and after eighteen years of waiting for a time to shine, made Triple H tap it, and overcame Shawn Michaels in a rollercoaster ride of a main event. The 'Rabid Wolverine' crowned new World Heavyweight Champion, he celebrated with his best friend from SmackDown!, Eddie Guerrero as the historic pay-per-view went off the air. The opening RAW video package then aired, as we cut to the arena where pyrotechnics went off and Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler welcomed us to the fallout edition from WrestleMania XX; the future is now! They promote the WWE Intercontinental Championship being on the line tonight as Randy Orton will defend; also, we will hear from Trish Stratus from her actions last night, plus so much more! The theme of Triple H kicked off the show as the crowd booed, Triple H walking out wearing a sling and a suit, looking a little bare of something tonight. 'The Game' climbed into the ring and stood among 'You tapped out' chants, Triple H beginning to talk about how he went into the triple threat match with a serious arm injury that he'd wanted to keep secret. Why? Because he is truly that damn good and he hates weakness. He says that none of these people deserve a crippler as World Heavyweight Champion, and that he will not carry the company like he has. RAW will never be the same and at a great popularity as when Evolution was calling the shots. And soon, they will regain it all, because he is motivated, as are Evolution. Last night, it was Randy Orton and Batista, alongside Ric Flair that defeated Mick Foley and The Rock: his past history with them. Evolution is evolving the World Wrestling Entertainment to its' very core. At that point, Chris Benoit's theme hit and the crowd cheered, the World Heavyweight Champion wandering out to a loud ovation, Benoit telling Hunter that he gave a great fight tonight, and he'd love to do it again but, for now, people will just simply have to keep chanting 'you tapped out', because billions of viewers around the world watched that pay-per-view last night to watch Triple H lose. Triple H tells Benoit to be quiet, then telling Chris that he wants to cash in on his rematch tonight, but unfortunately he will be bound with this sling and cast for about a month thanks to the 'Rabid Wolverine', but when he gets his hands on him at long last, he will in return cripple the wolverine. The crowd booed as Triple H then revealed that tonight we would see Batista and Ric Flair team up to face Benoit and anybody in the back of his choice; he wants Benoit to prove himself, as does Eric Bischoff. The crowd booed again as we cut away. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // VICTORIA def. JAZZ A pretty hard-hitting match to kick off RAW tonight as the WWE Womens Champion retained her title and made a WWE diva bald last night at WrestleMania XX by the likes of Molly Holly. Jazz began to beat down on Victoria as the match commensed, working on the shoulder and preparing for the Jazz Stretch but Molly Holly in a wig ran out! Molly wearing a new brown 'toupeé' got onto the apron, prompting Victoria to swing for her, but Lita ran out and took Molly out for her! Victoria ducked a clothesline and a German suplex gave Victoria the win! Victoria celebrated her win as Lita pulled the wig of Molly Holly off, revealing her bald head like last night at WrestleMania XX! Molly ran away as Jazz left the ring, Lita and the WWE Womens Champion celebrating in the ring. We cut to the backstage area as Shawn Michaels was shown walking down a corridor with his bags to a loud ovation, the 'Heartbreak Kid' stopped by Jonathan Coachman as HBK was asked about last night, Shawn telling Coach that obviously Chris was the better man, and that's all he can say. For him though, all he can do is continue to fight the battle against Evolution and his old friend, Triple H. Shawn was then confronted by Batista, who grinned at HBK, then walking away. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // We go to Chris Jericho in the backstage area as Todd Grisham appeared, Y2J not looking that satisfied, Grisham asking Jericho about his reaction to both losing to his former friend, Christian at WrestleMania XX, but also being betrayed by the love of his life, Trish Stratus. Y2J told Todd he was disappointed, for Trish that is, because he knows better about Christian's manhood than she does! GARRISON CADE AND MARK JINDRAK def. ROB VAN DAM AND BOOKER T IN NON-TITLE ACTION A decent back and forth encounter here between these two solid teams; Mark Jindrak and Garrison Cade coming extremely close to the World Tag Team Championships last night in the four-corner tag team match, RVD and Booker T tried to fend them off, but a gutbuster on RVD by Cade led to the youngsters working the ribs of Van Dam. Booker then got the tag as he darted in and took out both rookies, preparing the Scissor Kick on Cade though RVD accidentally spin kicked Booker down when going for Jindrak; RVD was taken out as the double gutwrench powerbomb on Booker gave Cade and Jindrak victory! Garrison Cade rolled out of the ring and joined Mark Jindrak at ringside, both men arms raised high, the crowd booing in disappointment whilst Rob Van Dam recovered the World Tag Team Championships and tried to hand them to a vicious Booker T. He grabbed his title and left! An advertisement aired, promoting the encore presentation of last night's WrestleMania XX, live on pay-per-view tomorrow at 9PM. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // We see Mick Foley arrive in the backstage area during the commercial break, perhaps citing another comeback to Evolution. The theme of Evolution hit as the crowd booed, the 'Legend Killer' himself beginning to walk out to the arena to boos, the WWE Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder as per usual, showing off all of his impressive physique as pyrotechnics fell from the stage. Orton climbed into the ring and smirked as he noted how last night he teamed with 'The Animal' and 'The Nature Boy' in Evolution against two greats of all-time wrestling, The Rock and Mick Foley. But it was him who came past it and pinned the pathetic 'Hardcore Legend' in that ring. And this is not the first time he has bettered against Foley. Orton tells the crowd and everybody in the back that Orton will continue to rise, and prove himself to be the greatest WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time. RANDY ORTON def. DRAYTON JOHNSTONE TO RETAIN THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP A mock of a match really, as the theme of The Rock hit to a massive ovation, just for a lookalike to arrive, with crayon-drawn tribal tattoo and a fake beard, which the 'Legend Killer' had fun tearing off. Orton squashed this enhancement talent, nailing a Rock Bottom before finishing 'Johnstone' off with an RKO. Randy Orton celebrated like he had beaten the real Rock as the crowd booed in hatred, though then Mick Foley appeared from behind, slamming a barbwire bat into the spine of Orton! The WWE Intercontinental Champion darted out of the ring in pain as the camera took notice of the scarred red blood trickling down the 'Legend Killer's spine, Foley back again! We go to the backstage area as Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown as Eric Bischoff sarcastically clapped at him in the GM's office. Bischoff congratulated on having ruined all credibility that the match of the century, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar had last night by giving both men a Stunner. Stone Cold told Eric he didn't get him as Bischoff told Austin he made Goldberg leave the company, and Austin thinks he can still roam around as the Sheriff!? He tells Austin that Vince is furious, Austin telling Eric that as Sheriff of RAW, means he has more power than Eric and is closer to Vince, and so Bischoff can't do another ''93' on him. Austin smirks, leaving Bischoff furious, Johnny Blaze asking what he can do for him. Bischoff shows Blaze the door as he looks mad. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // A replay from WrestleMania XX aired, as it highlighted The Undertaker's epic return last night at the grandest stage of them all, as the 'Phenom', Undertaker reunited with Paul Bearer defeated RAW's 'Big Red Monster', his brother Kane in a brutal match. A graphic then appeared, promoting Kane being on SmackDown! this week to call out his brother for a confrontation. MISS JACKIE vs STACY KEIBLER WENT TO A NO CONTEST These two divas had a fallout during their Playboy Evening Gown tag team match with SmackDown's Torrie Wilson and Sable, and these two basically rolled around the ring trying to defeat the other. It was all fun and games as both women sluggishly brawled until Trish Stratus came to the ring, a Chick Kick to Stacy and a clothesline to Jackie. The crowd booed as Trish Stratus stood in the ring, Stratus then joined with the theme of Christian playing loud. The obnoxious Canadian began to walk to the ring, hooking arms with Trish and kissing her to the boos of everybody in New Jersey tonight. Trish noted how she and Christian have been dating since February, only Chris Jericho just didn't know or was too cocky to know. When she met Christian and Y2J after their Battle of the Sexes saga at Armageddon, she fell for Christian, but Jericho loved her a little too much. And she didn't actually care about Chris, she actually cared about her popular status with the WWE audience, everybody loves Y2J, and she wanted everybody to love her! Christian smirked and took over, noting how she couldn't get enough of his charisma. Trish revealed that he was always the right way, and now she doesn't care about any one of these fans: it's all Christian to her! The crowd cheered loudly however as Y2J's voice was heard yelling yawn, Jericho noting the sappyness of her acting! Jericho told Trish that he was the one questioning who she was all along, but he should have known, jumping by the lump in Christian's panties and the size of Trish's increasing cleavage every few weeks, that something was going on. Jericho told Christian that if it's alright by him, he'd love to say he wants Trish back, but she's East Rutherford's bicycle. In fact, New Jersey's bicycle!, No, the world's bicycle! The crowd cheered as Christian invited Jericho to a rematch next week as Jericho happily agreed. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // An advertisement for Backlash aired, live on pay-per-view on Sunday 27th April 2004 from Edmonton, Alberta. A graphic appeared, and it revealed that next week we would be hearing by the top dog of the company, Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, Mr McMahon! Live on RAW next Monday night from 9, only on Spike. THE DUDLEY BOYZ def. LA RESISTANCE A decent six-man tag team war between these two decent tag teams, the three Dudleys taking on the three Frenchmen, and this rivalry has been going on since last July as D-Von, Bubba Ray and Spike continue to fight for America against Rene Dupree, Rob Conway and Sylvan Grenier. Spike was worked over, the smallest man in this match pounded away at by Conway and Dupree. Bubba soon got the tag and he rushed in, taking storm with D-Von. Conway soon had the Quebec flag but Spike took him out with a Dudley Dog; a 3D to Grenier ended it! The Dudley Boyz celebrated their victory, D-Von and Bubba Ray helping Spike onto their shoulders, all three Dudleys happy. Dupree looked disappointed with Grenier and Conway. We cut to the backstage area as Batista was shown with Ric Flair, the 'Nature Boy' mentioning about how awesome last night went, because they totally kicked some Rock 'n' Sock Connection ass, and not to mention but Batista totally showed everybody what he was made of. Batista smirked, as he told Flair that his target tonight was to isolate and beat Chris Benoit to a point where he cannot stand, for Triple H. // COMMERCIAL BREAK // A brief montage of what happened at WrestleMania Axxess from this past weekend in New York; as well as all publicity surrounding the spectacular. Chris Benoit's theme hit as the crowd cheered loudly, the 'Rabid Wolverine' well appreciated by the capacity crowd in East Rutherford. Benoit walked with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, Benoit climbing into the ring and beginning to talk about how last night he accomplished his destiny, and that Triple H can send his Evolution sidekicks on him, he doesn't care: the fact is he will still make Hunter tap, but next time he's in the ring with him, he'll seperate his shoulder! The crowd cheered before introducing his partner as Shawn Michaels. BATISTA AND RIC FLAIR w/ TRIPLE H def. CHRIS BENOIT AND SHAWN MICHAELS A solid main event as both teams just went back and forth; the former World Tag Team Champions definitely having more cooperation than previous enemies, Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit. Benoit was worked over by Flair the submission specialist, as Flair worked on the knee of the 'Rabid Wolverine', whereas Batista just tried to pound on Benoit, also using weight against the knee of the World Heavyweight Champion. Shawn soon made the hot tag and he ran in taking out both Flair and managing to take down 'The Animal' too. Shawn would then prepare for some Sweet Chin Music on Batista, but Batista picked him up and just dropped him on the back of his head harshly with a Spinebuster! Batista covered for the win. The crowd booed at the unexpected victory, Batista violently having dropped Shawn Michaels. He snarls as Ric Flair raised his arm in victory when Chris Benoit tried to tackle Ric Flair, Batista grabbing him and holding him as Flair delivered a low blow to the new champ! Batista delivered the Sit-Out Powerbomb as Triple H climbed into the ring, joining Evolution in victory, RAW goes off the air.

-Solid promo to kick off the WrestleMania Fallout RAW. Wonder who Benoit's partner will be. -Normally it'd be a weak start but not then. The divas division is actually something back then. Decent win for Victoria. -Cade and Jindrak over Booker and RVD is big for them. I see a RVD/Booker feud as well as new tag champions soon. -Orton over 'Johnstone' is interesting. Nice to continue the Randy Orton/The Rock feud which could make Orton look golden in this. -Decent divas fight. Trish's interference was cool, continuing her obsession for Christian. Hope that Jericho takes revenge. -Dudleys over La Resistance seemed basically to get the crowd ready for the main event. -Shawn Michaels being picked was the right choice in my opinion. You got a minor typo. You put that Benoit and Michaels won. But this is really unexpected to say the least. -Good show; wonder what comes next.

When will you do the 2004 WWE Draft Lottery, if you end up doing it for next week in your RAW, then I hope to see some big names get moved in the 2004 WWE Draft Lottery, have RAW main-event superstars get drafted over to Smackdown and have SD main eventers get drafted over to RAW, hopefully Evolution gets broken up in the Draft Lottery by having HHH get drafted over to Smackdown and have him stay on Smackdown rather than have him get drafted back to RAW.
Or I would draft Batista and or Randy Orton in this 2004 WWE Draft Lottery over to Smackdown
Or even Kane gets drafted over to Smackdown to continue his rivalry with Taker, or to have Taker get drafted over to RAW
Maybe John Cena gets drafted over to RAW too, Jericho getting drafted to Smackdown or even someone like Christian, Shawn Michaels, Benoit the World Champion draft him to Smackdown and have Eddie Guerrero the WWE Champion come over in exchange for Benoit
That way the draft sets up new feuds, just suggestions, but you don't have to take my word for it, it's your diary
But I cannot wait until your draft lottery

- Very realistic opening to the show, glad Evolution is still in place. - Not too sure on this opening in current day, but back then the Women's Division was strong [As C*E*N*A*T*I*O*N said.] Like the post match alterations like Molly Holly getting her wig pulled off. - Good decision to have Cade and Jindrak to get the win.. Also good post-match actions here. - LOL! I love Randy beating "Draystone" would love if you kept this feud going. - Guess it's okay if Miss Jackie and Keibler go to a no-contest. - Loved this segment right here, glad to see you keeping this going. - Good choice to have The Dudleys def. La Resistance - At this moment, bigger Evolution fan then Benoit and Michaels so very happy to see this win, good match, great post-match actions. - Very solid show, expect more replies from me! You have another reader.

Love this Era, first show was very well booked, hopefully you can bring back a good tag team divison and build a few new stars, would love to see Benoit do like an "open challenge" type thing every week against young talent to give them a shot he was always denied

THURSDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN! MARCH 18, 2004 - BOSTON, MA A video package airs, taking us back to last night at WrestleMania XX; where it was a great back and forth, historic battle between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle, both men grudgingly competing for the WWE Championship; but Eddie proved as wanting it more, cheating for the victory. Angle was pissed, but Eddie was victorious. Later on in the night, Eddie's best friend, Chris Benoit was greeted with an emotional World Heavyweight Championship win, and Eddie came out to celebrate with him; a union of both brands, with the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships. The opening SmackDown! video package aired, as we cut to the FleetCenter, Michael Cole and Tazz welcoming us to another rocketbuster of SmackDown, four days after WrestleMania XX, possibly the biggest night in the history of sports entertainment! They promote Kurt Angle taking on Rey Mysterio, plus the new WWE United States Champion, John Cena in tag team action with WWE Champion, Eddie Guerrero to face Big Show and Chavo Guerrero, all tonight! The theme of Brock Lesnar hit to loud boos, but the crowd were in shock considering previously hearing that the 'Next Big Thing' was getting up and leaving the company after WrestleMania XX. The crowd booed as Lesnar got on the microphone and noted how everybody expected him to sell out. He told them all that they all embarrassed him last night, but not only him but Goldberg was the true embarrassment. He sold out, and honestly he couldn't give a damn what these fans thought of him, or chanted at him, and Stone Cold Steve Austin will definitely get what he deserves in time! Lesnar continued, noting how he lost the WWE Championship unfairly to Eddie Guerrero at No Way Out, and Eddie has done nothing to look credible since becoming a contender. He's cheated, lied and stole to get what he wanted: great, but now the 'Next Big Thing' has changed his mind, and he wants Eddie to wake up and smell the coffee because he still has to cash in his rematch clause. The theme of Kurt Angle then hit to a loud chorus of boos, as the 'Olympic Gold Medalist' wandered out, smirking as he mentioned who it was, the same man that revealed he was going to leave last Thursday night on SmackDown! Angle asked him what he's still here for, and then proclaiming himself as the man that deserves a rematch at Eddie Guerrero, that controversy last Sunday. Lesnar smirked and told Angle he paralyzed Angle last March, and he put him through Hell up until last September. And he'd easily love to kick his ass right here tonight, but he's going to hold himself back. Lesnar tells Angle that he can have the opportunity first. Paul Heyman's voice was then heard as the crowd booed, Heyman mentioning both men as his former clients, but he has come to a conclusion that SmackDown is so beefed up, that he needs to think about who the number one contender should be. Heyman reveals that at the end of the night everybody will know. Lesnar and Angle look aware. \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ KURT ANGLE def. REY MYSTERIO A solid match here, as these two kicked SmackDown! off with a bang, the 'Olympic Gold Medalist' extremely ticked off now that Eddie Guerrero had stolen a victory over him and in Angle's mind humiliated him at WrestleMania XX last Sunday; but now having to battle the SmackDown roster for a rematch with Eddie. Rey Mysterio meanwhile was ticked off about being screwed out of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match in the Open bout. Angle worked the ankle in another of their classic bouts, but Rey remained in there, preparing a West Coast Pop just for Angle to reverse into a powerbomb, then locking the Ankle Lock in and Rey tapped! Angle celebrated his win as the crowd booed, Paul Heyman coming out and sitting on a chair at the rampway; the SmackDown General Manager writing down on a clipboard whilst Angle celebrated. In the backstage area we see Chavo Guerrero with his father, Chavo Sr, and the WWE Cruiserweight Champion was talking to his father about how he made cruiserweight history on Sunday, but tonight he's going to break the glass ceiling and prove his Uncle wrong tonight unlike in the past. He's going to be the new WWE Championship contender by the end of tonight. Chavo Sr tells him that's great, but he's got a surprise of his own; telling Chavo to wait until he's out there. Chavo Jr stands confused. \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ ULTIMO DRAGON def. NUNZIO, FUNAKI, SHANNON MOORE, AKIO, PAUL LONDON, JAMIE NOBLE, BILLY KIDMAN, TAJIRI & CHAVO GUERRERO, SR IN A CRUISERWEIGHT CONTENDERSHIP BATTLE ROYAL A decent battle royal here, basically involving all of the cruiserweights involved last Sunday in the Cruiserweight Open [other than Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio] as well as Paul London and Chavo Guerrero, Sr. Chavo Sr was unexpected, and these ten men got more time than they were allowed last Sunday. It came down to Kidman, Dragon, Tajiri and Chavo Sr as Chavo Sr snuck to throw Kidman and Tajiri out before being locked in a Dragon Sleeper by Ultimo! Chavo Sr, passed out was launched out of the ring to end it. Ultimo Dragon celebrated his win as the crowd reered him on, the athletic nature of the Dragon proved tonight. Chavo Guerrero Jr then rushed to ringside, attending to his father and helping Chavo Sr up; and Ultimo came over the top with a corkscrew plancha on both Guerreros! Ultimo was ready for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Bradshaw and Faarooq were shown standing in a corridor, as The APA didn't seem too motivated tonight. Bradshaw spoke to Faarooq about how business has been tanking recently, Faarooq noting they need to get it up. Bradshaw notes he's been doing some work in the stock market so while the Acolyte Protection Agency is failing, they still have money. At this time, they were interrupted by the World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin as Benjamin and Haas obnoxiously invited The APA to a match tonight. They accept. \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ We return to SmackDown! as a replay of The Undertaker facing Kane at long last this past Sunday at WrestleMania XX was shown; the 'Phenom' meeting his old brother, the 'Big Red Monster', but with Paul Bearer also there. A back and forth battle, 'Taker almost met his exact match, but in the end it was 'Taker who picked up the win in an eventful return as the 'Deadman'. We go to the ring as the crowd were loudly booing among the red glare in the arena. Kane stood in the ring, of the RAW brand as he was previously promoted as to being here on RAW, Monday. Kane had a microphone as he mentioned how The Undertaker had the momentum last Sunday, and he's alright to go and accept that. But the fact is he may have been afraid, but he's realised from experience of facing this 'vintage' yet 'new' Undertaker; he's even more vulnerable than before! Kane laughs as his voice booms, challenging 'Taker to meet him next week. Before then though, the theme of Rhyno hitting as Kane looks challenged. RHYNO def. KANE BY DISQUALIFICATION A competitive match up, as the 'Man Beast' was really going at it with the 'Big Red Monster', despite being much smaller, evening up with intensity and potential to be as good as the much larger RAW monster. Kane overcame Rhyno though, tossing him around and variously attempting to choke the smaller 'Man Beast' out, then preparing for a Chokeslam but Rhyno escaped it, the Gore connecting! Rhyno went to cover, but Kane sat up, grabbing Rhyno by the throat. He proceeded to Chokeslam Rhyno, then deciding to pick Rhyno up again and Chokeslam him! Kane laughed evily, rolling out of the ring and grabbing a steel chair, it bouncing off of the cranium of Rhyno! The crowd booed as Rhyno began to bleed, the 'Big Red Monster' picking Rhyno's corpse up and delivering a Tombstone Piledriver on Rhyno! Kane yelled for his brother, The Undertaker and next week on RAW he will meet him! \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty came down to ringside, as they were on commentary to spectate the next match between The World's Greatest Tag Team and The APA. THE APA def. THE WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM Decent match here as the WWE Tag Team Champions totally worked over The APA as great contenders to their belts from commentary. Bradshaw and Faarooq used their brutality and muscle to pound around the much smaller Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin and Haas worked together though, managing to double-team Faarooq. Haas even tried the German Suplex as Benjamin nailed him with a super kick: Haas getting a near fall but Bradshaw then got the tag, rushing in and just simply dodging the Dragon Whip from Shelton and getting took out with the Clothesline From Hell! The APA celebrated their win as Paul Heyman sat atop the rampway, clapping and applauding Bradshaw and Faarooq. However, he tells Bradshaw and Faarooq that they can have their WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity next week: but because they just annihilated his child team; he wanted the World's Greatest Tag Team to win this. So, using his authority, he is making Rikishi and Scotty defend against both WGTT and The APA in a three-way tag team match for the belts next Thursday: but, if The APA lose, they must disband! The APA look unsure. We see Brock Lesnar in the backstage area as he is confronted by Kurt Angle. Angle asks Lesnar how he feels he did this time. Lesnar smirks, telling Angle that he was always a better WWE Champion than him, and if he steals his thunder and gets the shot tonight, he will severely beat the crap out of him. Angle laughs, slapping Lesnar on the shoulder and leaving. \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ In the ring we see the Full Blooded Italians, Nunzio now accompanying Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stamboli; Nunzio doing the talking and noting how the FBI as a faction and individually have not done too well as of late. But tonight is the start of a new re-evolution in the group, as they will not be so weak, and so easy to defeat. And it begins with a simple test: right now, Chuck and Johnny will compete in a match, and he will see who the weakness of the team is. BILLY GUNN AND HARDCORE HOLLY def. THE FULL BLOODED ITALIANS w/NUNZIO A decent match as Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly have been slightly lost in the company lately. Hardcore and Billy, two of the veterans in the WWE after being in the company for ten years took out the formerly successful FBI. Palumbo and Stamboli double teamed Mr Ass a few times, but Hardcore got the tag, a double dropkick to Palumbo and an Alabama Slam on Stamboli gave Billy and Hardcore the win! The crowd cheered as Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly celebrated their win, Nunzio helping Chuck Palumbo to his feet, and as Johnny Stamboli got up, Palumbo nailed him with a hard superkick! Palumbo gritted his teeth as Nunzio seemed happy, the FBI transforming for sure. In the backstage area we see John Cena as the crowd cheer, Dawn Marie asking him about his experience at Madison Square Garden, making history by beating Big Show and winning the WWE United States Championship. Cena tells Marie that he's happy that he's representing this country, but last Sunday was so amazing; WrestleMania, a place he wants to be again. But tonight, he has a chance to be the number one contender to the WWE Championship as well, and he is actually looking forward to it, Cena tells Dawn he's going to get ready for the tag team main event, next! \\ COMMERCIAL BREAK \\ - An advertisement aired, promoting RAW's upcoming pay-per-view coming up in late April, Backlash; live on Sunday 27th April 2004 from Edmonton, Alberta. EDDIE GUERRERO & JOHN CENA def. CHAVO GUERRERO AND BIG SHOW A solid main event here as Paul Heyman was definitely on watch as the WWE Champion and the WWE United States Champion paired up to take on the man Cena beat last Sunday at WrestleMania and Eddie's nephew, Big Show and Chavo Guerrero. Show tore apart Eddie with powerful moves and threw him around like a ragged doll as Chavo worked on the ankle Eddie was worked over last Sunday. Cena soon got the tag as the crowd were hot; Cena preparing an FU on Chavo when the Chokeslam got Cena from Show! Eddie shoved the official down from behind and low blowed Show before dropkicking him twice through the ropes! Cena got up and nailed the FU on Chavo; a Frog Splash getting three! The crowd exploded as John Cena and Eddie Guerrero hugged, the WWE Champion and WWE United States Champion united in celebration, Kurt Angle rolling out of the ring looking furious! Big Show didn't look too happy either, as Cena and Eddie were suddenly stopped by the SmackDown! General Manager, Paul Heyman! Heyman informed them both that the number one contender for the WWE Championship will be...John Cena! Eddie looked uncertain as did Cena; their bond broken as both face for the title next week on SmackDown! We cut off the air.

Faarooq noting they need to get it up I laughed. Seriously though, there's not much I can critique about this show. It was very well written for this era and an enjoyable read. I'm interested in Lesnar sticking around, and his involvement with the WWE Championship should regain some credibility from his match with Goldberg and his 'departure' from WWE. If I had to be harsh, I'd criticise your decision to make John Cena the Number One Contender to Eddie Guerrero. Coming off a big U.S. Title win only days before, Cena's focus should be on THAT title and building himself up as a bigger star from there. You have Big Show, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and any possible Draft picks to go after Eddie Guerrero. Keep Paul Heyman as GM. He plays the role well. I will personally shoot you in the face if you bring Teddy Long over to Smackdown like they did in real life.

-Solid promo kicking off the show, expecting Angle/Lesnar/Guerrero in Triple Threat. Like Chaz said, you should keep Heyman on SD. -Great start to SmackDown. A great main event like match. Angle over Mysterio was the right call. -Ultimo Dragon going over here is interesting. Dragon/Guerrero should be cool. -Great promo for Kane. They should be real easy considering that's the main thing these days. -Kane showing his sadistic side once more against Rhyno is cool. Liking the continuation on RAW. -APA over WGTT sounds cool. Liking the three-way tag match now. -Gunn and Holly seem like a pretty decent team. Them winning is fine here. -Guerrero and Cena going over here is awesome. I love the turn, Cena/Guerrero for the WWE Title is interesting. Can't wait for that. -Good show; next week and following shows should be awesome.

-I miss Smackdown on Thursdays -Love that Lesnar is sticking around, should be amazing. Interested in who Heyman will choose to face Eddie Guerrero -Tremendous opening contest, they were great at the start of SummerSlam 2002, and it sounded like more of the same tonight -There sure were a lot of Cruiserweights at this time. Ultimo Dragon winning rules -Not sure about the Kane/'Taker feud continuing, but I do like Kane going nuts on Rhyno -BOOO! The World's Greatest Tag Team lost But they're getting the title shot next week ;D I see them winning, which will lead to an APA break up and the birth of JBL -The FBI match was pretty filler, but I'm interested in them transforming -Cena & Eddie winning was the right call, but I'm unsure about Cena being the number one contender. Actually, scratch that. If it was a PPV match, I'd dislike it since Cena should be focused on the US Title, but since it's only a WWE Title match on Smackdown, I like it Good first Smackdown, I like the direction this is headed in so far.

SATURDAY NIGHT VELOCITY MARCH 20, 2004 - BOSTON, MA The opening video package for Velocity hit, as we cut to the FleetCenter where Josh Mathews and Bill DeMott introduced us to the program, advertising Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Basham Brothers. PAUL LONDON, BILLY KIDMAN & ORLANDO JORDAN def. TAJIRI, AKIO & SAKODA A competitive six man tag team match to start off, mixing between both technical moves as well as more athletic moves. Paul London and Billy Kidman really got into the swing of things with some aerial dives, somersault planchas on Tajiri and Akio. Meanwhile, the heavyweights, Orlando Jordan and Sakoda squared off, but in the end it was Sakoda being pinned, as London nailed the impressive 450 splash for the win. Paul London celebrated with Billy Kidman and Orlando Jordan: Tajiri, Akio and Sakoda backing up and leaving. A replay from SmackDown! aired, showing the promo between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle || COMMERCIAL BREAK || A replay from SmackDown! aired, showing the match between Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio. An advertisement for RAW airs, this Monday live, as it will feature a big confrontation from The Undertaker and Kane; plus, Batista takes on Shawn Michaels and the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit faces Ric Flair! But also, the Chairman, Mr McMahon will have a big announcement to make! Only Monday night from 9, also on Spike. NIDIA def. SABLE An odd match here as Nidia went into it as the favorite as well as Sable; the Playboy bunny Sable sluggishly going after Nidia and trying to nail a Sable Bomb on her, but Nidia broke out, a victory roll getting Nidia the unexpected victory. Nidia celebrated her win as Sable looked angry! A replay from SmackDown! aired, highlighting the promo from Kane and the match between Kane and Rhyno. || COMMERCIAL BREAK || An advertisement aired, promoting SmackDown! this Thursday on UPN, scheduled to feature the WWE Championship on the line as Eddie Guerrero defends against the WWE United States Champion, John Cena, this Thursday from 8 on UPN! A replay from SmackDown! aired, highlighting the tag team main event with John Cena and Eddie Guerrero taking on Chavo Guerrero and the Big Show. RIKISHI & SCOTTY 2 HOTTY def. THE BASHAM BROTHERS TO RETAIN THE WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS Quite a predictable main event here, as Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty are scheduled to defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The APA and World's Greatest Tag Team on Thursday, but here the Bashams were trying to take the titles themselves; the only team left out of this Thursday's tag title match that competed in the four-way tag team match at WrestleMania this past Sunday. The Bashams tried the switch but Rikishi clotheslined both men, Scotty with the Worm for the three. Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty celebrated their win with the WWE Tag Team Championships as Josh Mathews and Bill DeMott promoted SmackDown! on Thursday, Velocity going off the air.

Smackdown:
I like that you are keeping Lesnar. Not sure why their wasn’t any interaction between Angle and Rey before the opening match on this show. Did Angle just stay in the ring or did he get another entrance? Judging by Bradshaw’s stock market comment I have to think you are going to be introducing the JBL character. A fine main event and I have no problem with Cena being the number one contender. That is if you only keep it to Cena having a title shot on television and it doesn’t go to having a title shot on pay per views while still the US Champion.
Velocity seemed like a basic show. Seems like a very rare occurrence to have the tag titles defended on a really meaningless show.
