Your show really wasnt 'creative' it was a talk show. It didnt have a big WOW factor that it could of, hence the reason you got no replies and started whining about it. you tried to do something different and it didnt work.
I think its poor form for you to criticize the mod on his own contest IMO. You are coming off extremely negative and sounding like a trouble maker. I dont see you going out spending your own money on figures and them giving them away here to try and help the board. You should spend more time working on producing your fed instead of nitpicking EVERYTHING that doesnt meet your obvious high standards of excellence! Sorry for spamming your thread Warsman, I just really dont get some of these people on here. Congrats to the winner!

I'm the last guy to want to stir the jar of sh#t any further, but I really don't see how tirva's comment can be taken as jerky or stuck up. Anyway, 3 rule match or not, I think tirva did a good show, he had 3 segments, 3 matches, 3 acts, one way or another. I do believe if Warsman placed rules, he should stick to them and not change them at random, simply because that may damage his rep as a good mod, but I don't feel that in this case, allowing tirva to be part of the contest was breaking or bending the rules at all.

I think this was a good contest and it would be interesting to keep doing similar stuff, not that I expect Warsman to give us all free figs, but the prizes could be something different, some sort of perk, bragging right, special something that your fed gets when it wins on a certain set of rules, maybe it even sparks up the creativity.

I think it was fun, I had fun. I won't lie, I wanted to win that Sting real bad, but I think it's cool that tirva won, he has a great show and at the end of the day, the forum choosed the winner, as should be.

The only thing I have to ask tirva is to use that Sting in his show!

Would this competition include past shows as well? For instance, would Woody be able to come back and post W3E royal rumble, or is it JUST newshows?

Wasnt there a specific timeline in the rules? Like between such and such a date. Why would past shows be eligible?

I guess your right taking the literal view of the rules. I guess a member who hasnt been active in a long time could come in and post one of his old shows. I guess what I meant was I would rather see active, participating members be involved than some guy that retired from picfedding a long time ago come in and enter a year or two year old show and he's not at all active or participating here now.

I never claimed it was creative. It was different, but as I told Wars, creativity is subjective.

Why am I the worst person alive because I pointed out something? I didn't curse anyone out, I didn't angry PM anyone, I simply stated that a show listed didn't meet the criteria. How dare I make observations?

I never said I didn't like the idea. I think for what it was, trying to get more shows out, it was fine, and I appreciate he went to the trouble of buying a figure to give away, but again, all I did was read the rules and make note of an show that failed to abide by them.
