Genesis is looking great, man. I'm loving Robbie/Helms, that should be a good match. Hopefully Helms doesn't take the belt off Robbie this quick. I actually quite like the push you're giving Gunner, although I wish you just stuck with the Gunner name rather than renaming him to his original name of Phil Shatter. Not a fan of Stevie Richards in the X-Division. Jeff/RVD is a huge main event, can't see Hardy's reign coming to an end, though. Good stuff, SG.

TNA Wrestling Presents....iMPACT on SpikeTV December 16th, 2010 Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida
The music of Kurt Angle hits the pa system in the iMPACT Zone and he makes his way down to the ring to a mix of cheers and boos. Angle seems a little uneasy regarding the reaction as he climbs into the ring with a microphone in hand. Angle speaks on the fans who have been sending him “tweets” asking why he attacked AJ Styles, but, said he has no real answer though he said that this year will be his “last year in the wrestling business” and wants to go out the same way he has been since it began in 1999 – on top. He said that there is something that has always “irked” him about AJ Styles, but, he just couldn't put his finger on it and he apologizes to Styles for the attack last week. The music of AJ Styles hit and Styles puts over how he doesn't accept Angle's apology because it's all an act. He states that Angle isn't really sorry and is only doing this to keep his public image up. Styles informs the entire world that Angle wanted a 25% pay increase to work half the dates that the entire locker room does and TNA wouldn't budge so Angle has decide that come September of this year, he's done with TNA, not wrestling. “There is your hero... the guy who demands more money for half the work. You are just like Sting and Kevin Nash, when you don't get it your way... you walk. What are you doing to do, go up north? I turned that company down multiple times because I am LOYAL to this company, where is your loyalty to the company you said saved your life? You need to realize Kurt, TNA was built by guys like myself, Beer Money, Chris Sabin, Kazarian, Christopher Daniels... you were just someone who jumped on the bandwagon”. Styles walks away as Angle tosses the microphone down and leaves the ring to huge boos. The cameras turn over toward Mike Tenay and Taz who proceed to run down the card for tonight's show including a TNA World Television Title match between “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles defending against “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan.
Backstage, Phil Shatter is walking down the hallway toward the ring when he is approached by Jay Lethal. Lethal tells Shatter how much he enjoyed watching his match last week and officially welcomes him to TNA. He holds out his hand but Shatter refuses to shake it and pushes Lethal against the wall, before walking on down the hallway. Phil Shatter is in action – NEXT!

Phil Shatter defeated Jesse Neal This was a solid opening contest with Shatter and Neal having some pretty decent chemistry together. Shatter won the match much like last week, but, this time won with a power-bomb on Jesse Neal which Taz calls the “PTSD” (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). After the match, Shatter wasn't done with Neal and began to attack him post-match while Shannon Moore just stood at ringside and watched. Jay Lethal hit the ring and traded some blows with Shatter until Shatter popped him with a spear before hitting the PTSD on Lethal. Shatter challenged Moore to get into the ring, but, he refuses and walks up the ramp with his back to his fallen tag team partner.
The cameras turn backstage where we get a reaction from Kurt Angle regarding AJ Styles' comments earlier. Angle claims that Styles is just trying to spin all the locker room rumors around to make Angle look bad, Angle states that Styles only knows “half the story” and the other half would “break AJ's little heart.”
Mr. Anderson is shown arriving at the TNA iMPACT Zone. Anderson isn't cleared to wrestle... why is he here?!
Rob Van Dam makes his way to the ring and he calls out the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Hardy. Hardy comes out and the two have a “nice” chat about the match at “Genesis”. Hardy states he has some pretty “creative” things up his sleeve for Van Dam when out of the clear blue, Ric Flair's music hits. Flair states he thought Hardy would have something like that planned so he had a back-up plan. He states that with Hardy having friends all over the place, he wasn't going to take any chances and named a special guest enforcer for “Genesis”... MR. ANDERSON! Anderson comes out and Hardy looks to have seen a ghost and is pretty angry. Anderson says he'll make sure that nobody gets involved and reminds Hardy that he's just one step behind Hardy.

Taylor Wilde defeated Velvet Sky Velvet Sky made her return to TNA iMPACT tonight in losing effort to Taylor Wilde. The match was decent at best but Wilde pretty much dominated toward the end. Wilde picked up the victory following a german suplex into a bridge. After the match, Wilde was attacked by Mickie James. TNA security came out and broke it up.
Backstage, Beer Money Inc comments on the lack of respect that London Brawling showed them last week. Storm reminds everyone that they both were apart of the two greatest tag teams in TNA history [Team Canada/America's Most Wanted] to which now they are apart of the greatest tag team in TNA history, together but London Brawling doesn't understand that. He says he respects the talent that Wolfe and Magnus have, but they are just a flash in the pan tag team like all these other teams that Beer Money Inc has left laying in the middle of the ring. Roode said that they would make sure London Brawling realized who the best tag team was at “Genesis”. Mike Tenay and Taz run down the card for “TNA Genesis” including Mickie James vs. Taylor Wilde along with Madison Rayne vs. Tara for the TNA Knockouts Title.
Alex Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns defeated Max Buck of Generation Me This was a fantastic contest between these two tag team superstars with very similar styles. Shelley was able to fight off the interference of Jeremy Buck until Chris Sabin made his way to the ring to fend off Jeremy. Shelley picks up the victory following the Sliced Bread #2 on Buck. After the match, Sabin and Jeremy keep brawling until Shelley goes to help his partner and they lay out Jeremy with a double super kick.

A very... mysterious video package plays as word pop on the screen stating: “retribution”. Back in the iMPACT Zone, Tenay and Taz wondered what that was all about before sending it to the ring again.
Matt Morgan defeated “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles to WIN the TNA World TV Title This was a fantastic main event with both men working very hard to put on a great match and to walk out the TV Champion, but, it all came crashing down at the twenty minute mark when the bell rings and Jeremy Borash announced a time limit draw. Ric Flair came out and restarted the match stating that “We will stay with this until we have a winner”. The match would get a bell to restart the contest and it was back to sqaure one for the fans as Styles/Morgan drug them for another ten minutes with lots of great action. The final moments saw Kurt Angle come down to the ringside area and get AJ Styles' attention, Styles yelled at him to get away from the ring and when he turned around... Morgan nails him with the Carbon Footprint for the victory. Morgan celebrates his first singles title victory in TNA as Angle rolls into the ring. Angle helps Styles up and seems to check on him until he headbutts Styles who hits the mat. Angle spits on Styles and walks out. The final shot sees Styles laying in the middle of the ring.

TNA Wrestling Presents....iMPACT on SpikeTV December 23rd, 2010 Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles is standing in the ring as soon as we go on air. Styles is furious at the fact that because of Angle, he is no longer the TNA World Television Champion, but, is very calm. He speaks on how he can some out here and yell.. but what does that solve? Styles begins to explain that unlike many people in TNA, he was in the “loop” about the signing of Kurt Angle. He pointed out how Dixie Carter has made sure Angle stayed with the company every year... at all costs.. because she thinks he is the “MVP” of the company. Styles points out the respect he has for Dixie Carter but in the case of Kurt Angle she is “dead wrong”. “Has everyone forgotten that before guys like Kurt Angle wanted anything to do with this company, I was here working for half the pay that those guys got. Did I ever complain? Did I ever whine? No, because I love what I do. I don't do this for the money, I do this because I love wrestling, you fans, and this COMPANY. If it was about money... I would take the offer I get every time my contract expires from that other company, but, I don't. I will never leave this company, but, can you say the same for Kurt Angle? Angle wants more money for less dates, wants a bigger cut of merchandise sales, why? Because, he has no integrity. I'm sure people wonder why I worked with Angle to get back TNA, I didn't work with Angle for Angle nor myself... I worked with Angle for this company and the fans. Maybe that was a mistake though because every time I turn around, Angle is screwing me over or attacking me”. A huge “Angle Sucks” chant breaks out as Styles catches his breathe, before he points out that he went to TNA management's Ric Flair and demanded a match with Angle at “Genesis”, but, Kurt is off filming some straight to DVD movie. “Kurt, I hope you are sitting in your hotel room watching this show because this is straight to you... the minute you step back in this building, I will be all over you. And Kurt... that's REAL”. Styles tosses the microphone down and leaves the ring as Mike Tenay and Taz put over the passion of AJ Styles when it comes to TNA Wrestling as we go to commercial.
[commercial]
Robbie E [w/ Cookie] and Madison Rayne defeated Hurricane Helms and Tara Tara come out rocking a cape like Hurricane Helms wears to the ring, while Cookie and Rayne seemed to have some words regarding the match. Robbie E and Hurricane worked a good portion of the match with Tara and Rayne only getting involved for a few moments. The fans were really into this match including the inter-gender parts of the match which saw drop kick Madison Rayne into a pin-attempt by Tara but she kicked out. Robbie E and Madison Rayne picked up the victory following a roll-up by Rayne on Tara for the pin-fall. After the match, Robbie E mocked the hurricane's pose on the stage as Helms made sure Tara was okay.
Backstage, Hernandez speaks on his return to TNA Wrestling. He says that he has been down in Mexico working down there, but, it felt great to be back home.
Phil Shatter defeated Hernandez Hernandez was without a doubt the toughest challenge Shatter has had to date, but, Shatter held his on and was able to pick up the victory over Hernandez following the “PTSD” in a good solid contest. After the match, Shatter got on the microphone and laid out an open challenge to “any man, woman, or child” that thinks they are good enough to face him at “Genesis”. The cameras spin backstage where Ric Flair is shown in his office. Christy Hemme is there and informs the fans that Ric Flair has an announcement to make regarding the “Against All Odds” pay-per-view in February. Flair states that the “8 Card Stud” tournament would return this year, stating he would be watching from now until Genesis to see who “steps up to the plate” and would hand pick the talent in the tournament. He said the winner would get the World Title shot at “Lockdown” which will take place in Houston, Texas.
[commercial]
Max Buck defeated Chris Sabin These two great talents looked amazing in this contest with lots of great action. Buck was able to pull of the win after Sabin missed a springboard elbow drop and Buck nailed a nasty looking kick to the head for the pin-fall. After the match, Buck attempted to DDT Sabin off the apron to the arena floor, but, Shelley hit the ring for the save until Jeremy attacked Shelley from behind. Jeremy and Max brawled with Shelley until out of nowhere, Sabin leaped from the top turnbuckle onto all three of them. Sabin helped Shelley up as the fans cheer.
Backstage, Matt Morgan is shown bragging to a random backstage worker about being a champion, when AJ Styles comes up. Styles informs Morgan that he is cashing in a rematch clause at “Genesis” against Morgan. Morgan states that he has beaten Styles countless times... one more couldn't hurt.
Another mysterious video package airs saying the word: “sin”.
Douglas Williams is heading to the ring for a match when Kazarian attacks him! Kazarian slams him against a wall and it takes Williams out. TNA security gets Kazarian out of the way and Williams is checked on by a medical team. Williams is unable to compete tonight!
London Brawling defeated Ink Inc This was a decent contest, but, nothing majorly amazing. The thing is that Shannon Moore walked out on Neal and in the process, left the “Ink Inc” T-shirt at ringside which seems to be the end of “Ink Inc”. London Brawling picked up the victory following a lariat on Neal. After the match, London Brawling was going to beat down Neal further but Beer Money made the save for Neal. London Brawling backed up the ramp but didn't take their eye off Storm/Roode.
[commercial break]
Mike Tenay and Taz were able to reach and interview Kurt Angle “via telephone” from New York where he is filming his latest movie. Tenay speculates that Angle took the role to get away from AJ Styles, but, Angle gets on the defensive real quick: “Let me explain something to you, Tenay... I'm not afraid of anyone. I'm not ducking AJ Styles, he's ducking me. What is stopping AJ Styles from coming to ME? There's nothing stopping him, he's a coward. He wants to say I have no integrity? What a hyopcrite. I'll tell you this much, Tenay... I'll be at Genesis and AJ Styles will regret the day he told me he would fight me.”
Kazarian defeated Stevie Richards This was orgininal suppose to be Douglas Williams vs. Stevie Richards, but, due to Kazarian attacking Williams earlier in the evening... Flair made him a substition. This was a good contest but nothing really amazing. Richards is still proving that he deserves the spot he has in TNA, but, Kazarian was just the better man and picks up the win via the “Wave of the Future”. Post-Match, Kazarian challenges Douglas Williams to a match at “Genesis”.
Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is interviewed about his match with Rob Van Dam tonight. He promises victory tonight and adds that he'll be in the 8 Card Stud Tournament in February. Jeff Jarrett defeated Rob Van Dam This was a fantastic main event with lots of back and forth action between these two former TNA World Heavyweight Champions. Jeff Jarrett was defiantly looking to impress Ric Flair enough to get in on the “8 Card Stud Tournament” at Against All Odds in February. The ending saw the official go down following Jarrett ducking a kick by Van Dam, Jarrett then used his “Acoustic Equalizer” on Van Dam and tried to revive the referee, but, the referee was out. Jarrett motioned for another offical to come down, but, by the time the referee got there Van Dam was able to kick out. Jarrett was forced to lift up Van Dam for the stroke and pull off the win.
After the match, Jeff Hardy made his way down to the ring and the two former Immortal members beat down on Rob Van Dam until the music of Mr. Anderson hit. Anderson came down but was obviously injured which amused Hardy and Jarrett which Jarrett kicked Anderson in the mid-section and attacked his injured elbow. Hardy and Jarrett stood tall to close the show.

Monthly TNA News Update TNA Headlines.com
- Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles is not expected to be made into a match for "Genesis", actually, there are no plans for them to actually touch nor meet in the ring for the next few months.
- Douglas Williams and Kazarian's feud will lead to both of them getting a major main event level push in the next few months.
- The latest creative changes in TNA had nothing to do with anyone being removed, besides Bischoff, but more-so a vision coming aboard. The current vision for TNA is to create stars which is why we are seeing AJ Styles and Beer Money Inc moving back into the spots they were in late in 2009. You can expect to see Phil Shatter, Douglas Williams, London Brawling, and Kazarian to become the guys TNA really focuses on.
- "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero has fallen by the way side as of late. Dinero made no friends in the company back when he made "parody" videos of Hogan in the hospital. Despite what fans think, those videos were not planned and Pope just "did them" himself. Many, even those who aren't pro-Hogan, felt it was a slap in the face to Hogan. Pope apologized and claimed he was "fooling around", which is why TNA has put the brakes on his mega push.
- Despite budget cuts, expect two debuts and two returns in the next few months in TNA Wrestling. The returns are expected to happen during an episode of iMPACT.
- "Against All Odds" will have a World Title match along side the "8 Card Stud" tournament. The plan is for the finals to take place at Destination X in the main event with the winner going to Lockdown.

TNA iMPACT December 30th
The war of words between “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and Kurt Angle heated up when Kurt Angle appeared via satellite from New York City during an AJ Styles in-ring promo. Angle put himself over as the “real” Mr. TNA and Styles was just some “kid” who got a lucky break in the business. Styles shot back a few comments at Angle yet he didn't respond and the video feed being to repeat itself which lead to Kurt Angle attacking AJ Styles from behind! Angle took a chair to the ankle of AJ Styles and most likely broke it before security could break it up. Styles was screaming in pain as Angle walked away with a smile on his face.
Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy had the contract signing for their match at “Genesis” for the TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship which it is included in the contract that it will be the last shot Rob Van Dam will get at Jeff Hardy's World Championship. Van Dam and Hardy both spoke out during the contract signing where they both promised victory until Mr. Anderson came out to cut them off. Anderson stated that they can make all the promises and proclamations in the world but in reality, they aren't fighting for a World Title... they're fighting for a chance to lose to Mr. Anderson! Hardy and Van Dam both took offense to that as Anderson smirked and reminded them that's he's an a**hole.
In the main event of the evening, “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan defended his TNA World Television Championship against “The Samoan Submission Machine” which saw these two big-men compete in a knock down, drag out match which would see Matt Morgan retain the TNA World Television Championship.
Robbie E challenged Hurricane Helms to a fist pump challenge but it was all a set-up for a major beat down on Helms. The lights dimmed during the beat down and super-hero music played as Shark Boy and the returning Super Eric hit the ring. Super Eric went after Robbie E while Shark Boy laid Cookie out with a Chummer! Hurricane Helms was helped up to his feet once the ring was cleared and they all shook hands before posing in the ring. This lead to Robbie E challenging Shark Boy to a match for next week's broadcast for laying a hand on “Cooks” which Shark Boy accepted.
Gunner easily defeated Stevie Richards in a solid contest, which lead to a post-match promo where Gunner complained that nobody had accepted his challenge because they were afraid of him. He said he hopes there is a brave soul out there that would accept his open challenge for “Genesis” because he is looking forward to his pay-per-view debut!
James Storm and Desmond Wolfe competed in a match but it ended in Disqualification when Wolfe used Storm's own beer bottle during the match by breaking it over Storm's head. After the match, Roode hit the ring to try to help his partner but Magnus jumped him from behind. Desmond Wolfe set up a table on the arena floor that he got from under the ring which lead to them hitting a power bomb on Roode through the table!
In a case of strange bedfellows, the former enemies of Tara and Mickie James teamed up to battle Taylor Wilde and Madison Rayne in a decent Knockouts Contest which would see James getting pinned by Rayne for the victory. After the match, Wilde laid out both Tara and Madison Rayne before picking up the TNA Knockouts Title and raising it above her head as the show went to commercial
Quick Results: Gunner defeated Stevie Richards “Cowboy” James Storm defeated Desmond Wolfe via Disqualification Taylor Wilde and Madison Rayne defeated Tara & Mickie James Alex Shelley defeated Jeremy Buck Matt Morgan defeated Samoa Joe to retain the TNA World Television Championship

He said that he would be at the commentators table with Tenay and Taz for Angle's match with Kazarian tonight.
The Motor City Machine Guns & Mickie James defeated Generation Me & Taylor Wilde in a fast faced six-person tag team contest which saw James and Wilde go all out including James leaping from the top rope onto the arena floor landing on Generation Me, Taylor Wilde, and The Machine Guns! The ending saw Shelley hit a super kick on Max Buck for the victory.
It was announced that “Super Mex” Hernandez had accepted the challenge of Phil Shatter for “Genesis” which lead to a promo by Hernandez stating that he wants to get back on track in TNA Wrestling.
Jeff Hardy defeated “The Pope” D'Angelo Dinero following a “Twist of Hate” in a good match. “The Pope” looked very impressive in this contest but unfortunately wasn't able to put away the TNA World Heavyweight Champion in this non-title match.
Rob Van Dam defeated “The Freak” Rob Terry in a so-so match that was mainly dominated by “The Freak” pounding on Van Dam until he was able to get a spin kick in and take advantage. Van Dam picks up the victory following a Five Star Frog Splash.
In the main event of the evening, Frankie Kazarian stole a win from Kurt Angle following a referee bump. Kazarian went for a missile drop kick but Angle side stepped him which lead to Kazarian taking out the referee. AJ Styles came down to the ring while Angle applied an Ankle Lock to Kazarian, Styles used his crutch on the back/neck area of Kurt Angle. Well the card for Genesis looks solid. I never like replying to quick results so I'll give a good one when Genesis gets up. Just letting you know so you don't think I was acting funny.
