The decision to turn Jeff Hardy heel was actually made a few weeks ago, with everything else leading up to the 10-10-10 Bound For Glory pay per view obviously a swerve. "It's totally WCW circa 1996-1998, but without the ratings and pay per view buy rates," one top tier TNA star told WZ tonight. "They're talking about work-shoot and shoot-works, and they think that's the key to turning TNA around. They're obsessed with fooling the Internet Wrestling Community." There have been reports online about TNA trying to decide whether the big turn should be Jeff Hardy or Rob Van Dam, but the decision was made easier for TNA when RVD told the company weeks ago he had no desire to turn heel. "RVD has a laid back persona on TV, and he's that way in real life, but he takes his image very seriously," another TNA source told us. "Jeff's laid back persona carries over into everything, and he just likes to go along with the flow." There was an original plan for Angle to win the title, and feud with Mr. Anderson, building to an eventual Angle vs RVD showdown, but those plans changed with the decision to turn Hardy heel and make him the champion. Following last night's TNA Bound For Glory PPV, Jeff Hardy posted the following on his Twitter account after a fan called him out for turning heel: “would u admit it’s strongerThanThatWackAssNexusTeaseWithCena?

The Nexus comment annoys me for a few reasons. First of all, why are you mentioning the competition and comparing yourselves? It makes you look low ball. I said this when TBP were complaining about Lay Cool and it still fits now.
Also, I'm enjoying the Nexus.John Cena angle far more than what happened last night. Sure the storyline hasn't been perfect, but at least it has mostly made sense. Hogan turning heel in 96 was a big surprise, Hardy turning heel in 2010 is less of a big deal.

I'm not annoyed that Jeff mentioned WWE. I'm annoyed that Jeff smashed Kayfabe into a million pieces, buried it, and spat on it. That comment just makes Jeff look like he does care about wrestling. Maybe it's just the way I'm reading it.
And about that poster, is he implying that Matt Hardy is coming with the V1 hand symbol?

I am actually really happy Jeff turned heel, at least he has a totally different role than which he had in the Double E.

That poster is sick
and I highly doubt TNA is 'obsessed' with fooling the internet wrestling fans.

I think it's great, Jeff has never been a proper heel before so I look forward to how it plays out. But giving him the belt 15 days before trial? :/
On a side note, I wonder if the space button is broken on his phone becaus he always puts very little spaces in his tweets.

Also, he's not REALLY doing the v.1 hand symbol right with either hand. More like a v.1/Fortune hybrid.

I used to love Jeff, but the guy hasn't interested me since his first TNA run back in 2005? or so. It's awesome that this will be the first time he turns heel, and it may very well get me to tune into the next episode of TNA (For curiosity if nothing else). I mean, I can hardly picture him as a heel, but his style these days is actually probably more suited to that persona. I think it's great, Jeff has never been a proper heel before so I look forward to how it plays out. But giving him the belt 15 days before trial? :/ eeek. That's also a great point that completely slipped my mind. How many times has that trial been pushed back now? jeez. Very risky booking by TNA.

The idea of Jeff Hardy going to jail is nothing but a dirt sheet rumor in attempt to generate something newsworthy. Jeff Hardy IS NOT going to jail. A fine? Sure. Community service? More than likely. Jail time? This is the USA.....celebs get away with more than we do. Just ask OJ.

Agreed except for the laycool comment. WWE is at least using common sense to test the waters. TNA throws stuff out there, see's if it sticks then has to run around trying to figure out how to clean up there mess. And this picute is major fail on so many levels:

Hey CM SSTPR Hardy™, you seem to know Jeff Hardy better than most people. Did he give you any indication that he would be turning heel?
