Martin hints return to wrestling

By Wrestling Observer Newsletter Eric Martin, former owner of the now dissolved Global Wrestling League announced he is back in the wrestling business this past week. After leaving the wrestling scene six months ago, he announced on his Twitter account this past weekend that he will be back. On October 11, 2010, Martin posted a picture of the state Florida and wrote, "New home, new start." Then, this morning, on October 12, 2010, he wrote "F------ W------- A-------". It is unknown when Martin will return, but from the hints over the past few days, it seems it won't be long. |

Martin reveals new company information

Today on Martin's official Twitter, he posted a link to the new companies website, revealing the name of the company to be Florida Wrestling Alliance. Martin also revealed the first four signings to the company on the website, Ace Bennett, Duan Sanchez Jr., Zane Taylor and Kevin Hart, all former GWL stars. In the same blog post, Martin stated the debut show will be held on November 14, 2010 with more stars announced for the show over the next few weeks.
It is unknown if Martin will sign more of his former employees at this time. |

Good to see this back dude, not sure about a name change. Hopefully you keep some kind of touring schedule as it kept this unquie. Glad the main 4 have been brought back, wonder what the rest of the roster will look like. Good luck and keep this up.

First show details announced, More roster signings to be revealed

On November 14, 2010, FWA will launch its debut show live from Miami, Florida. Ten historical matches will be held on this event, the first, featuring recently announced FWA stars and former GWL alumni, Ace Bennett, Duan Sanchez Jr., Kevin Hart and Zane Taylor as they will compete in a Anything Goes Four Way Match. Nine other matches will be announced over the next few weeks.
As well as this, FWA will announce more of its signed talent over the next few weeks, starting now with another four reveals. First, these two men are also former GWL stars. First, he is a former GWL International Champion, Christopher Kennedy Jones has signed to be apart of the FWA family. Second, he was the right hand man in the group, Your Worst Nightmares, its Steven Kagemann. And finally, they claim to be the World's Greatest Tag Team, they are Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Be sure to check out the site over the next few weeks for more roster signings and show matches that are announced.
Note: Time line will be running a little faster than this after this news post |

Happy that YWN's Steven Kagemann is back hoping Jason Williams gets resigned as well to recreate the stable. An anything goes four way sounds good although I hope that you make more top name stars otherwise we are trapped with the same four men in the main event like in GWL, good luck and keep this up.
