| October 25th, 2010. Green Bay, Wisconsin.
|
SUPERSTARS RESULTS: Zack Ryder def. Mark Henry. Darren Young def. William Regal.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to RAW taking place in Green Bay, Wisconsin as the crowd are pumped for the fall out of WWE Bragging Rights where John Cena, cost Nexus leader Wade Barrett the WWE Championship.
On that note, Wade Barrett storms down to the ring with the rest of the Nexus, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater and WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and John Cena in trail. Wade Barrett says that he has a few issues to address, first of all, after their poor performance last week Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty will not be joining the Nexus and will not be members of the RAW Roster. Wade Barrett now tells us that last night at Bragging Rights everything was going perfectly for the Nexus, they were the in the spotlight. The Nexus now own the WWE Tag Team Championships, the Nexus ended the Undertaker’s career, and Nexus get lots of heat for this. It was all going perfectly until one man had to ruin everything, one man had to take out his leader and prevent him from winning the WWE Championship. Wade Barrett gets right up into Cena’s face. Barrett asks Cena what on earth he was thinking he knew that if he didn’t follow his leader and serve his leader he would be fired and now he will have to suffer the consequences. Barrett tells the General Manager to send the damn E-Mail already. After a few seconds the double bleep sounds and Michael Cole stands up and goes over to read the email. Cole informs us the General Manager tells Wade to NEVER demand he does something ever again. Secondly, most of us will be delighted to hear that John Cena is still employed by the WWE. Barrett told Cena that if Wade Barrett did not win the match last night he would be fired and Wade Barrett won the match via a Disqualification. John Cena did exactly as he was told. Wade Barrett is furious but thinks for a second and calms down. Wade Barrett says that the General Manager is right; however, if he can’t fire Cena, he can make his life hell. Firstly, Barrett tells Cena to hand over his WWE Tag Team Championship. John Cena does and Barrett says he’s going to give this to someone more deserving and throws it backwards toward Justin Gabriel who holds the belt above his head. Secondly, Barrett says, tonight, he wants John Cena to run the Nexus gauntlet. He will face every member of the Nexus, if he wins, he’s fine for tonight, and if he loses he will face the worse beat-down imaginable. Wade Barrett leaves and the Nexus follows him, including John Cena who’s got his head down.
We come back to Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler who confirm tonight’s main event as John Cena facing Heath Slater, WWE Tag Team Champion Justin Gabriel, WWE Tag Team Champion David Otunga and Nexus Leader Wade Barrett in a Gauntlet Match, if he loses he will receive a Nexus sized beatdown. The double bleep sounds once again as Michael Cole stands to read the email from the anonymous General Manager of RAW. It says that tonight there will be two Mini-Tournament Semi-Final Matches; the winner of it all will face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. The first match will take place right now.
Mini-Tournament Match CM Punk def. United States Champion Daniel Bryan. A great first match-up of the evening, Bryan had momentum in this one coming off of a great win over the Intercontinental Champion. CM Punk was eliminated from RAW’s team but lasted the majority of the match in an impressive showing. This one was fast-paced at time’s but also saw some very controlled mat wrestling which was also entertaining. The finish saw Bryan nail an Enziguri and half lock in the LeBell Lock but Punk used the ropes to get to his feet and with Daniel still on his arm he lifted the US Champion onto his shoulders before dropping him down for the GTS and the victory.
CM Punk celebrated his win post-match as he advances to the finals of the tournament next week.
Ted DiBiase is backstage with Maryse, they’re walking through an area when they see Goldust who runs off. DiBiase chases him as Goldust goes round a corner. Ted turns it too but Aksana is standing in his path. DiBiase grinds to a halt and smiles as he steps towards Aksana but Goldust steps out of a door next to them and nails Ted with the Million Dollar Belt. Maryse comes round the corner as Aksana and Goldust walk off.
The Uso’s w/Tamina def. The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya A decent tag team match. Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith have been having issues lately with Tyson Kidd walking off last week, leaving Smith to fall victim to a Future Shock DDT. The Uso’s, Jimmy and Jey, were looking to capitalize on the opportunity and pick up a win and some needed momentum for the team. The ending sequence saw Tyson Kidd plant Jey with a Springboard Clothesline and tag in Smith but David Hart Smith took too long lifting Jey for the Powerslam and Jey slipped behind him for a chop block to the knee before nailing a splash for the upset.
Tyson Kidd was not happy at all as The Uso’s ran off celebrating. Kidd got into the ring and started arguing with Smith. Kidd turned around to leave but delivered a shocking Superkick to his partner. The crowd were left in awe as Kidd left the scene, pissed.
Miz is shown backstage in a grump, he says that he’s gonna give the WWE Universe a piece of his mind later tonight because his team’s performance was abysmal.
Wade Barrett is backstage with the Nexus, minus Cena. He reminds them that they all want to get their hands on John Cena after he attacked them during the WWE Championship Match last night and that he put his hands on Otunga twice. Otunga nods in agreement. Barrett orders them to give Cena their best tonight because he can’t escape tonight unharmed.
Mini Tournament Match John Morrison def. Sheamus. Both of these men were members of the unsuccessful team RAW last night at Bragging Rights and were looking to re-coop against each other in this even match tonight. John Morrison has been a lot more aggressive lately and it’s been paying off, Sheamus had obviously always been aggressive but he’s now thinking a lot more than he used to. The battle was back and forth with many near falls and almosts. In the end however, Morrison nailed a Chuck Kick and dragged Sheamus over to the corner for a Starship Pain but Sheamus got his knees up and Morrison stumbled backwards. Sheamus lifted Morrison for the Irish Curse Powerbomb but Morrison hooked his legs round the former WWE Champion and rolled him up for the three count.
Morrison rolls out of the ring and celebrates on advancing to the finals, Sheamus however is furious and kicks the ropes, ruining the steel steps and tearing off turnbuckle covers. Morrison could be in deep trouble.
The Miz’s music hits as he and Alex Riley walk down to the ring. The Miz says that he is appalled and was let down by his team at Bragging Rights. The only reason he was eliminated is because it was two on one and if it was even earlier in the match that wouldn’t have even mattered. The Miz says that he could go around and beat down all of the losers that made up his team right now but he’s not going to and to save time and effort he’s just going to demolish two of them with the help of his loyal friend Alex Riley.
The Miz and Alex Riley def. R-Truth and Santino Marella. A pretty short tag battle which barely involved Truth at all. Miz and Riley dominated Santino as a team after Santino and Truth were quickly eliminated in the Tag Team Match at Bragging Rights. Miz was looking for some retribution. The end of this saw Santino taunt the Cobra but only to have Riley duck the move to nail a TKO and tag in Miz for the Skull Crushing Finale for the victory.
Truth jumped into the ring to confront Riley and Miz after their quick victory over the Itallion Stallion. R-Truth tackled Riley to the mat allowing Miz to take advantage from behind and nail another Skull Crushing Finale. Miz screamed, because I’m awesome, at the top of his lungs.
Natalya is backstage; she has a message for Layla and Michelle McCool. She’s not finished with them yet and won’t be until they can beat her fairly. Until then Natalya is still 100% gunning for the Divas Championship.
Ted DiBiase and Maryse def. Goldust and Aksana. A decent match to further this feud. Aksana and Maryse were looking good on the apron as Aksana got her first non-NXT Match-up here thanks to her pro, Goldust. At Bragging Rights, Ted DiBiase defeated Goldust after a distraction from Maryse to pick up the victory but Aksana’s charm caused Ted to lean in for a kiss and a chance for Goldust too attack. Goldust and Aksana then left with the championship. The finish here was different however, after Goldust took himself and DiBiase to the outside Maryse nailed Aksana with the French Kiss DDT to pick up the win. Maryse grasped the Million Dollar Championship as she grabbed Ted DiBiase Jr’s hand and the Million Dollar couple ran off with the gold leaving Goldust and Aksana to walk to the back.
John Cena is backstage walking through the halls when he’s stopped by none other than the WWE Champion, Randy Orton. Randy Orton tells John Cena that next time to think before he does something, because Orton WILL follow through with a threat. Cena continues walking as the main event is up next.
Gauntlet Match John Cena vs. Nexus
John Cena def. Heath Slater. A quick match for the first of the Gauntlet battles, Slater obviously isn’t Wade’s favourite member as he wasn’t given the WWE Tag Team Championship. John Cena finished this one with an Attitude Adjustment and a three count. John Cena def. WWE Tag Team Champion David Otunga. This one lasted a little longer, Otunga has more of a history with Cena. Infact they only won the Tag Titles last night together but their celebrations didn’t last as Cena gave David an Attitude Adjustment. Otunga wanted revenge here and tried to capitalize on Cena just having a match but John countered Otunga’s finisher and hit an Attitude Adjustment for the victory. John Cena def. WWE Tag Team Champion Justin Gabriel. This one was hard for Cena as he was tired and Gabriel’s quick pace was too fast for Cena. Gabriel now carries Cena’s Tag Team Title too which angered Cena. Gabriel beatdown Cena with kicks and punches before heading up top for a 450 Splash but John Cena powered out and flipped Gabriel onto his back. The two men got to their feet and Justin struck first but Cena caught his kick and twisted Gabriel’s leg, locking in the STF. After a few seconds, Gabriel tapped out. Wade Barrett def. John Cena to win the Gauntlet. Cena barely even got to his feet after Gabriel tapped before Barrett hopped in and nailed Cena with a big boot. Barrett hoisted Cena onto his feet and delivered the Wasteland for a three count.
John Cena had lost the Gauntlet and subsequently The rest of the Nexus beat him down as Heath Slater delivered his neckbreaker and Otunga slammed Cena to the mat. Gabriel got onto the apron for a springboard 450 Splash. John Cena was then repeatedly stomped on until WWE Champion Randy Orton ran down to the ring and began to fight off the Nexus with an RKO to Gabriel and Otunga. Barrett and Slater slid away to safety. Randy helped Cena up to his feet. The double bleep sounded and Michael Cole addressed the WWE Universe. The email from the anonymous General Manager read that John Cena defeating three members of the Nexus is certainly an accomplishment and he wants to give Cena another shot at his leader Wade Barrett, so if John Cena can win his match next week, he will give Cena a match against Barrett at the Survivor Series. Next week, John Cena and Randy Orton will team up to face Heath Slater and WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel and David Otunga in the main event. The crowd and Cena are thrilled at this announcement, Barrett and the rest of Nexus are pissed as we go off the air.

-Good promo kicking off the show though the Gauntlet has happened once before, should be cool. -Punk over Bryan is a great way to start off the show. Hope Punk could win this mini-tournament. -The Usos over Hart Dynasty is fine, hope this starts good things for them. -Morrison is my new fave to win this thing. And I expect it from the biggest John Morrison fan I know. (you). Great call here. -The Miz and Alex Riley over Marella and Truth is fine, hope you don't bury Truth. -Ted DiBiase and Maryse over here is pretty good, hope that Goldust gets a nice run too. -Cena over Nexus and then Barrett over Cena was realistic. Looking forward to next week. -Good show; keep it up.

- An alright opening promo to start things off. Cena handing over the belt is interesting; the Gauntlet tonight is predictable though. - Punk defeating Bryan in the tournament is kind of obvious with Bryan being the US Champion. - Oh snap. Uso's winning, huh? Good thing they aren't jobbing out. Hart Dynasty split going through. - Morrison defeating Sheamus is great. But, I do expect Punk to beat him. Just glad Sheamus ain't getting another shot. - Whiny Miz is whiny. Him and A-Ri getting the win over R-Truth and Santino is good. I hate Truth. - DiBiase and Maryse getting the win is meh to me. Goldust just lost the night before even though this feud is dumb. - Like I said; a predictable main event with Barrett winning the last fall and going over Cena. A few good announcements after as well. Pretty good start-up show.

WWE RAW: Monday 25th October 2010...Zack Ryder beating Mark Henry suddenly is pretty unrealistic, wish you'd have held off from doing this. Darren Young beating William Regal is good to advance Young's character, but Regal needs one last push in my mind. Wade Barrett and the Nexus' promo was good, looking forward to this Nexus gauntlet however. Hmm, Justin Gabriel and David Otunga as WWE Tag Team Champions seems alright. I am hoping to see the Freebird Rule introduced here. Hmm, not too sure of the mini-tournament, though it is an original idea to get the way going for Survivor Series. CM Punk beating Daniel Bryan was obvious, really, hoping Punk doesn't get the shot against Randy Orton though. Like how Bryan sort of proved himself to Punk. I thought that the Hart Dynasty broke up weeks ago. Not sure why we're getting a deja vu here, but I'm not sure about a heel Tyson Kidd either. A heel David Hart Smith would make more sense. The Usos with the win is acceptable, nothing to do with them though. John Morrison overthrowing Sheamus is a surprise and a disappointment, but something new I suppose. Pretty obvious that Punk will be winning and going to face Orton at Survivor Series, which isn't too good. Hopefully doesn't main event anyway. I wonder what your direction of revamping Survivor Series the pay-per-view is, it doesn't seem as though they're going for elimination tag team matches this year. The Miz and Alex Riley's promo was alright, as was the tag team match with RAW team members. The right team won, good coverage for Santino Marella. I think it's safe to presume Vladimir Kozlov is finally on his way out of the company. Not too sure of Aksana competing on RAW as no NXT Rookie before her has competed on a show not called NXT. Ted Dibiase and Maryse beating them was the best decision. Swear we saw John Cena face The Nexus in a gauntlet in September anyway, decent win for Barrett through all that, just not sure if it's too original, and could have used Randy Orton's involvement. Interested with the two-on-three handicap match, wonder why Cena's still a part of Nexus and yet facing them. Hmm. A decent show, some direction to Survivor Series is blurred though.

WWENEWZ.COM
- The Nexus are unfortunately set to disband within the next few months, not too soon but before WrestleMania we are assuming.
- The WWE are looking to bulk up their tag team division with a trade following the Survivor Series, with only one face team without and injured member, they are struggling.
- There are rumors to bring up Percy Watson and Lucky Cannon (possibly under and alternative name) to tag with roster members.
- Christian is set to return around WrestleMania but with little time for storylines the guess is he will feature in Money in the Bank, if that isn't too risky.
- Triple H is ready to return so expect him to rejoin the crew on the road shortly, most likely to finish feuding with Sheamus.

SUPERSTARS: Tyler Reks def. Chris Masters
Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to another awesome edition of Friday Night SmackDown, It was announced earlier that this week that at the Survivor Series Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio will captain opposing Survivor Series teams, tonight the teams members will face off against the other teams member’s in matches. The World Heavyweight Champion, Kane’s music it hits and the Big Red Machine storms down to the ring. Kane gets down to business and tells us that on Sunday he finally put his brother to rest, he proved for the third and final time that he weakened his brother and now Kane is undoubtedly the devils favourite demon. He says that no one is as strongest as he is because no one other than him has the devil on his side and that all the power that The Deadman had before he was Buried Alive by yours truly has been transferred through the urn and into Kane. Kane says that he is the true Deadman and will forever be World Heavyweight Champion. ‘you think you know me’ whispers through the arena and Edge makes his way out to the crowd’s delight. Edge tells Kane that nobody needs to hear what he’s already told us thousands of times, we get it, he beat the Undertaker. Edge says that’s he’s beaten the Undertaker before too. Edge says that other that past two weeks he’s won a thirty man battle royal, beaten a former World Champion and brought home the Bragging Rights trophy for SmackDown and if that’s not deserving of a World Title match, he doesn’t know what is. Kane tells Edge that until he fights the Big Red Monster and takes him to the limit he won’t be deserving of a World Title Match. Edge responds by telling Kane that that can be arranged. Teddy Long interrupts by making his way out to the stage, he tells Edge that he’s got a point, he is in line for a World Title Shot however, he needs to directly earn it so if Edge and Mysterio can beat Kane and Alberto Del Rio in the main event tonight, Edge will face Kane for the title at the Survivor Series. Kofi Kingston def. Jack SwaggerA great match to kick off the show tonight as Kofi Kingston from Team Mysterio took on Team Del Rio’s Jack Swagger. Both men were looking to pick up some early momentum four weeks before the match. The clash of styles made for an entertaining bout as the back and forth action heated up the crowd. Swagger nailed a Belly to Belly Suplex for a two count before hitting a running knee to the face of Kofi. Swagger attempted a Gutwrench Powerbomb to which Kingston countered into the S.O.S. Swagger kicked out though. Jack ducked away from a Trouble in Paradise and ran at Swagger, however Kingston moved and Jack hit the turnbuckle. Swagger was stunned and turned straight into a Trouble in Paradise for the three count. The Dudebusters, Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft are backstage on a sofa, they’re in ring gear but are playing SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 as CAW’s of themselves and are beating down DX, the Dudebusters are in action next.
Backstage in the General Manager’s office is GM Theodore Long, he’s relaxing in his chair when Natalya walks in. Natalya says long time no see as the two hug. Natalya expresses her feelings that she still feels she deserves the Divas Title and that LayCool have yet to beat her fairly. Teddy says that he understands what she’s saying but it’s impossible at this moment in time. However, at the Survivor Series Natalya will get to captain a team of Divas to face team LayCool in a Traditional Elimination Match. Neidhart is satisfied, thanks Teddy and leaves. The Dudebusters def. Luke Gallows and Joey MercurySmackDown are really struggling in the tag team department, with no face tag team’s. The Dudebusters have taken on a tweener like roll as of late to keep things going. Gallows and Mercury are completely lost in the mix after CM Punk’s move to RAW and it proved as a factor for their loss here after a mis-communication Barreta hit a flying knee to pick up the win. The Dudebusters celebrated the beginning of what seemed like a bright road ahead for them. Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler is walking through the halls backstage with Vickie Guerrero holding tightly onto his arm, he’s facing the Big Show next. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler def. The Big ShowA pretty good fist hour main event here. Dolph Ziggler found it tough to cope with the World’s Largest Athlete in the opening minutes as The Big Show overpowered him much to Vickie’s dismay who watches her former boyfriend beat on her current. Vickie however, proved as a distraction and allowed Dolph to get ahead as he delivered a chop block to the back of Show’s knee. Ziggler nailed a stunning knee drop and elbow drop but it was not enough to keep Show down as Dolph was grasped at the throat and lifted to his feet. Vickie instantly leaped on the apron, distracting Show once again and the referee, allowing Alberto Del Rio, Ziggler’s team captain to hand Dolph the Intercontinental Title. Ziggler hit Big Show with the title, threw it out of the ring and covered the giant. The referee turned around to count the three. Alberto Del Rio climbed into the ring post-match, to raise Ziggler’s arm as a member of his team had been victorious. The celebration, however, was short lived as Rey Mysterio ran down to the ring. Ziggler and Del Rio immediately fled as the Luchadore slid into the ring and checked on The Big Show, helping him to his feet. Mysterio and Big Show stood tall as we cut to a commercial.
The World Heavyweight Champion Kane is backstage with Josh Mathews. Kane is asked on his thoughts of possibly facing Edge at Survivor Series. Kane says that he thinks nothing of it and that Edge is just another slowly collapsing building on his path of destruction. Kane says that Edge won’t win tonight so Mathews’ question was pointless. Kane walks off as Mathews is left unhappy. Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre def. Kaval and MVP.The former WWE Tag Team Champions meant business tonight as they looked completely focused coming down to the ring following their unfortunate title loss at Bragging Rights. Kaval and MVP are the final members announced for team Mysterio at The Survivor Series. The action was pretty even but in the end MVP tagged in Kaval for a Warrior’s way only for Rhodes to roll out of the way and tag in McIntyre who surprised Kaval with a Future Shock for the three. Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre celebrated while Kaval and MVP wandered back to the locker room, disappointed. Cody Rhodes was passed a microphone and simply states that they will become WWE Tag Team Champions again, very soon. It is not wise to mess with the Nexus.
Backstage we see Dolph Ziggler after getting changed into casual clothing when Vickie Guerrero’s NXT Rookie, Kaitlyn, wonders in. She shuts the door behind her and the two start talking, getting closer before they finally begin to makeout. The crowd pop for this as we head to the ring. Michelle McCool w/Layla def. Rosa MendesThe usual, a LayCool SmackDown squash to get the duo even more over. Rosa stood not a chance against the Flawless Divas Champion and fell victim to LayCool quickly after Michelle’s Faithbreaker and a three. Michelle McCool and Layla celebrate but not for long as Natalya comes out onto the entrance stage with Melina, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly and the returning Glamazon, Beth Phoenix! The five stormed down to the ring with the Divas Champions shaking in the ring. The face divas had them surrounded the girls in a Nexus like fashion as they slid into the ring and proceeded to beat down the champions. Natalya, locking in the Sharpshooter on McCool as Beth nails Layla with the Glamaslam. Natalya’s Survivor Series team stand tall to end the segment. Backstage Rey Mysterio meets Edge in the locker room and the two high as the former tag team champions team once more in our main event which is next. Main Event Edge and Rey Mysterio def. World Heavyweight Champion Kane and Alberto Del Rio.An awesome main event of all shapes and sizes. The two Survivor Series team captains joined the World Heavyweight Champion and the man looking for contendership tonight. If Edge and Mysterio were to win this match Kane would face Edge at the Survivor Series. Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysteiro were looking to get a little momentum before the event in this match. Edge and Mysterio tagged frequently taking on mainly Alberto Del Rio whom has made an impact fairly quickly on SmackDown, taking part in many main events over the past couple of months. The match was back and forth will a few close finishes including Edge putting his foot on the bottom rope following a hard Chokeslam from Kane. The finish here saw Rey Mysterio fighting Alberto Del Rio as Del Rio nailed a strong German Suplex and stalked Mysterio, Del Rio attempted the cross armbreaker but Mysteiro had to his scouted and whipped Del Rio into the ropes. Mysterio tagged in Edge and Edge took out Kane with a big boot before Mysterio nailed the 619 on Del Rio straight into Edge’s spear for the three count. Edge and Rey Mysterio stood tall again tonight, much like at Bragging Rights as Edge was named number one contender to the World Heavyweight Champion. Kane snatched away his World Title in frustration as Edge smirked and stared him down. Del Rio and Mysterio pretty much did the same as the show came to it’s climax. [/font]

-Great promo as usual by Kane. He has great mic skills and the tag match should be nice. -Kofi Kingston over Jack Swagger is a big start to SmackDown. Hope to see them bulk up again. -The Dudebusters push finally beginning should be nice. -Ziggler over Show comes as a shocker but it's big for him as IC Champion. -Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre over MVP and Kaval is fine. Hope to MVP and Kaval get pushes. -McCool over Mendes was the right call as she's basically a jobber diva. -Edge and Rey over Kane and Del Rio is big going into the WHC match at SS. -Good show; looking forward to SS.

- Solid opening promo. Expecting Edge to get that title match at Survivor Series. - A great opening contest to have; nice to see Kingston get the win over the former World Champ. - Lol at Dudebusters playing SVR. Like them beating Mercury and Gallows; Gallows/Mercury suck without Punk. - Nice win for Ziggler - with the cheating it works well - adds a bit of heat to the match at Survivor Series. - Rhodes and McIntyre as a team still I am not sure about. But, they deserve to win this one anyway. - Job out. Mendes is nothing. Will be released or just used a jobber for the rest of her career more than likely. Divas hype after. Blah. - As anticipated, Mysterio and Edge pick up the victory. Edge going to Survivor Series against Kane is good; looking forward to it altogether.
Good show overall. Could of used another promo though.

Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to Long Island, New York as we have a couple of great matches tonight, CM Punk faces John Morrison with the winner taking on Randy Orton at the Survivor Series and The WWE Tag Team Champions, Justin Gabriel and David Otunga face WWE Champion Randy Orton and John Cena with the stipulation that if Cena and Orton win Wade Barrett will face Cena at The Survivor Series.
‘We are One’ hits and Nexus Leader Wade Barrett strolls down to the ring with the rest of Nexus in tow. Barrett says that the fact that Cena is getting a chance at freedom is a joke, Cena lost at Hell in a Cell and is subsequently part of the Nexus. Barrett says that he only thing he should be doing is getting rematch for the WWE Championship. Wade wants everyone to know that he isn’t finished with Randy Orton and he will become WWE Champion but right now he needs to focus on Cena. Wade tells Justin Gabriel and David Otunga that they better come up with a victory tonight or they will be punished. Wade Barrett then turns to John Cena; Wade says that Cena still does as he says so he shouldn’t go around thinking he is a free man. Wade Barrett finishes by saying that Randy Orton better watch his back. We fade into a video package which is hyping King of the Ring; the event will last for three hours on the November 29th edition of Monday Night RAW.
R-Truth is shown backstage, he tells The Miz that last week his attack was out of order and that tonight Truth’s gonna shut his mouth once and for all, and that’s the truth.
‘I Came to Play’ hits as The Miz and Alex Riley wandered down to the ring, Miz holding tightly to his Money in the Bank briefcase. The Miz says how R-Truth dare call Miz out like that, behind the safety of a camera. Miz says that Truth is a coward and if he wants to fight the Miz he can come down and get his butt kicked right now. R-Truth runs down the ramp and gets in Miz’s face. Miz cheap shot’s Truth with a kick to the gut and the bell rings.
The Miz w/Alex Riley def. R-Truth. The Miz uses his immediate advantage to further attack Truth’s abdomen, stomping repeatedly. Miz goes for a Skull Crushing Finale earlier but Truth counters into an armdrag. The match went back and forth for a few minutes but in the end The Miz ducked away from The Lie Detector to lock in the full nelson and deliver a Skull Crushing Finale for the victory.
The Miz and Alex Riley talk trash before The Miz nails Truth with yet another Skull Crushing Finale onto the briefcase. The crowd look on disgusted as Miz and his associate leave.
Ted DiBiase is backstage with Maryse, he tells us that he’s going to finish off Goldust once and for all tonight and then move onto bigger things such as Championship Gold.
Tyson Kidd and Ezekiel Jackson def. David Hart Smith and United States Champion Daniel Bryan. An entertaining match here, The recently split Hart Dynasty faced off against each other in tag action, Tyson Kidd teaming with the beast Ezekiel Jackson and Smith teaming with the United States Champion. Bryan and Kidd put on a great show and have nice chemistry in the ring. In the end Bryan was looking to finish Tyson but a blind tag from Ezekiel Jackson allowed the Monster to easily plant Bryan with the Book of Ezekiel for the victory.
After the match Ezekiel Jackson and Tyson Kidd stood tall as Ezekiel motioned that he was coming for the United States Championship.
In the Nexus locker room now, John Cena is sitting next to David Otunga one of his opponents later tonight. Wade Barrett sits down and says that he has a gift for Cena and pulls out a Nexus shirt. Cena tells Barrett that he’ll wear his armband, he’ll fight in whatever match Barrett wants him too but never will he put on the Nexus shirt. John Cena walks out, Otunga secretly smirking as Barrett is left unhappy.
WWE Championship Contendership Match CM Punk def. John Morrison An awesome first hour main event full of excitement which takes us back to the ECW rivalry between these two. Very back and forth with no clear winner until the very end. CM Punk nailed a high knee is the corner and attempted a bulldog only for Morrison to push him away and deliver a Standing Shooting Star Press. Punk ducked the knee to the face as dragged Morrison to the mat before locking in the Anaconda Vice but Morrison reached the ropes. Punk ran at Morrison for a clothesline but Morrison ducked the arm and connected with a beautiful C9 for only a two count. Morrison dragged Punk over to the corner for the Starship Pain but Sheamus hopped the barricade and stared at Morrison which was enough to distract John so Punk could move away from the Starship Pain and make the cover over the fallen John Morrison for the win.
CM Punk briefly celebrated his victory, now facing the WWE Champion at Survivor Series. Sheamus slipped into the ring and stood over John Morrison as The Guru of Greatness got to his feet. Morrison turned around straight into a broe kick! Sheamus seemed pleased as the crowd gave him lots of heat.
Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Maryse def. Goldust An alright match which we saw at Bragging Rights, the result tonight was the same. DiBiase was looking to finish off Goldust once and for all, Goldust wasn’t going to let it be easy for his opponent though. Ted DiBiase was pretty controlled throughout and In the end he countered into the Dream Street to seal a win.
Ted DiBiase walked successfully away with his Million Dollar Belt as Goldust held his head in his hand wondering what he was to do next.
Sheamus is backstage; he is asked his reasoning behind attacking John Morrison about fifteen minutes ago and before that costing him a shot at the WWE Championship. Sheamus says that last week Morrison got lucky when he ‘beat’ him and it was only a roll-up at that. Sheamus says that he isn’t finished with Morrison until he demolishes him one on one in the ring and it’s coming soon. BLEEP BLEEP, for the first time tonight Michael Cole has received an email from the RAW General Manager. Michael stands up and says that the General Manager has an idea. Instead of Sheamus and Morrison fighting one on one next week why they don’t become the team captains for the traditional RAW five on five Survivor Series Elimination Match at the Pay-Per-View. Cole then goes onto say that the General Manager tells Sheamus to start recruiting now before the roster members run out. The crowd are happy with the announcement as Sheamus seems relatively positive about it.
Natalya, Melina and Gail Kim def. Alicia Fox, Jillian and Tamina. A quick divas contest between six RAW divas. On paper this match looks unequal in talent and it was as the faces pretty much dominated. The finish saw Melina and Gail Kim hit their respective finishers on Alicia Fox and Tamina as Jillian tapped out to the Sharpshooter.
Natalya, Melina and Gail Kim stood tall as the victors but before long they were grounded as LayCool jumped in from behind and attack the three women with help from Alicia, Jillian and Tamina once they’d recovered. The five women seemed proud of themselves although they shouldn’t have been.
John Cena is shown putting his shirt on as he’s in action with Randy Orton against The Tag Team Champions, next.
Randy Orton is out first to a huge pop before the Nexus including Cena. Wade Barrett grabs a microphone as he has an announcement to make. Barrett says that before this match starts, he has something to say. Barrett says that he cannot trust that Cena will follow his orders tonight so as a member of the Nexus he’s taking Cena out of the match. This match is now a handicap match with the same stipulation. John Cena and Randy Orton both look pissed as John Cena climbs out of the ring and walks to the back.
WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel and David Otunga def. WWE Champion Randy Orton. Randy Orton fought hard in this one, just like any champion should against the odds. The Tag Champs were tagging in and out frequently to keep fresh and wear down Orton as easy as possible. Orton began to get very tired although he did have a few moments where he would just burst out and attack anything that moved. The finish saw Otunga nail a mean powerslam and tag out to Gabriel who came at Orton with stiff kicks to the sternum. Gabriel hit a Hurricanrana and ascended the top rope for a 450 Splash but Randy dived onto the rope and sent Gabriel crashing down to the mat, from there Orton nailed his signature Backbreaker and a Hangman DDT before he taunted the RKO as he repeatedly punched the mat to build momentum only for David Otunga to run in and stop on Orton once more. The referee pulled Otunga away and argued with him in the corner allowing Gabriel to nail a low blow and ascend the top rope for the 450 Splash. Gabriel pinned the WWE Champion and Cena is forced to remain Nexus.
Gabriel and Otunga celebrated with Heath Slater and Wade Barrett as John Cena remained in the back. Suddenly the double bleep of RAW’s general manager sounds and the Nexus look confused. Michael Cole stands up, says his catchphrase and begins to speak. ‘Congratulations on your victory boys whether it was fair or not is another question but a win is a win. However, I have something to address. Wade Barrett, this match was supposed to be a two on two tag team match and I have no doubt in my mind that if John Cena was part of this he and Orton had a great shot at winning. Wade, you have no authority to overrule my decisions, change matches or even make them and as a punishment you WILL face John Cena at the Survivor Series and if Cena wins he WILL be free from the Nexus.’ The crowd are delighted as Wade Barrett is as pissed as he’s ever been. The general manager continues ‘and too ensure that this time there is not a chance of a Nexus interference or any interference, the two of you will fight inside a Steel Cage!’ An even louder pop echoes throughout the arena as Randy Orton is shown smirking atop the ramp and The Nexus leave feeling sorry for themselves.

Show write ups have been good so far, like the layout of the PPV card, and of the shows. It looks like you are trying to tie up some loose ends at Survivor Series, and set up new feuds as well, which is good shiz. Stick with this man, look forward to reading more!
