I'll quickly lose interest if Mattel does not make true wrestling Legends and sticks with Attitude Era crap

I never really had any interest in Mattel. But In the last few months I decided to collect any Legends not made previously by Jakks in the CS or LOTR line. Thus far I've bought only Ricky Steamboat but plan on buying the Von Erichs once they hit stores. Hopefully, Legends 5 or 6 will have some new faces.

Im just ready for more Edge's and RKO's, and i really want to see the figures scale title belts. But for the most part i feel the same way.

Just a little bit of interest, if only because of the same Superstars being released over and over again...then again, the Legends are fantastic, looking forward to collecting them all.

I am, because I only buy divas.....
At the end of the year there will have been 6 divas released, and that's a pretty good number, but id like to see more. On the current roster of male superstars I believe only The Nexus (5, or is it 6 of them?), Daniel Bryan, Kaval and Alberto Del Rio are left to be made. Divas, however.....
Jillian (trainer at FCW but still employed, figure was in 'planning stages' and she is still current enough in peoples minds to justify a release. She is my #1 want from Mattel at this point. Alicia Fox Gail Kim Natalya Layla Brie Bella Nikki Bella Eve Torres Rosa Mendes Tamina Tiffany Vickie Guerrero AJ (she is going to win) Aksana (she will be signed)
Still need to be made. I could live without Rosa Mendes, Vickie Guererro, Tamina and Tiffany but I don't think it is unreasonable to ask that the other 10 be made in 2011. Im not even really tripping on the NXT girls either, so that makes it 8. Throw in some repaints of Melina, Maryse and the more popular of the divas too.

I'm just antsy to see Elite 6 and Legends 3 in stores. Of course I am chomping at the bit for Shaemus and Tatsu. But since nothing too new is out at retail ,I have been picking up the few recent repaints that I would normally put on the backburner. Such as Best of Rey and Evan Bourne. So there is no loss of interest on my part.

Why wouldn't they use the same molds if the wrestlers have the same build? How is that any different then what every other toy company does?

And Christian with the same as Batista & Cena. Or an Evan Bourne taller than Taker. But Mattel is reusing the same parts too much?

Don't feed the troll. He does this on ever post remotely regarding Legends. To a degree yes. I went from having to have everything to now I am only getting one or maybe two guys every other set or so. I have actually found myself finding stuff and putting it down as to where previously I would find it and immediately run to the cash register. I don't have a big display area so a lot of my stuff gets put up and then swapped out and then stuffed in a box so its easier for me to just come to terms with the fact I don't need every single one of them. I'm pumped for Legends 3 right now to hit stores but other than that there isn't too much I am excited about from Mattel right now. The defining moments set may be something that keeps me really sucked in though when that starts to hit.

I think part of it is the excitement of the new Mattel figures vs. the old Jakk's figures has worn off - it is almost a year since we first started getting Mattel figs, so the excitement of the different new figures has worn off. Plus we are starting to see the point in the line where we are seeing another Cena, another Orton, another Rey Mysterio, etc. in each line. The first few lines were new so we picked up everyone (at least I did) but now I am only interested in the new figures in each wave. So instead of buyind 5 or 6 figures in a wave, I am picking up 1 or 2 per wave. Nice for my pocketbook but not for the health of the line overall, I would guess. The Legends lines are great and the only issue with that is that my area is so stocked up with Legends 1 that I won't see and future lines in stores around here for a little while. I managed to get Legends 2 from Toys-R-Us online, so waiting for Legends 3 to hit their site.

I've lost some interest because there hasn't been anything new in my area and since we aren't getting new people as soon as I'd hoped so I decided that from here on out I'm only going to get the ones I like and new superstars and divas. I'll only get repaints if I like how it came out other than that I'm gonna pass

The defining moments set may be something that keeps me really sucked in though when that starts to hit. you intellectually- disabled person and no I don't consider the Rock and Stone Cold legends. Stunning Steve is a legend and the Rock blows. You know Stunning Steve wrestled after the mid 80s right chief? But that stuff we watched growing up wasn't wrestling. I'm pretty sure I will take Steamboat vs Flair in 89 over any of the dog crap you are grumbling about. Go watch Joe vs Kenta, Punk vs Joe, Punk vs Hero, Bryan Danielson against Tyler Black or anyone else for that matter. No one is forcing you to watch sports entertainment but its a bit comical that you are all caught up on the business changing when it happened 25 years ago. LMFAO at you calling me a intellectually- disabled person. I hope the Legends line turns into a straight attitude era line that way you can give up and go be miserable about the last 30 years of wrestling somewhere else. I'll buy two of every one so that Mattel doesn't have to worry about losing the $15 you will spend once every six months when they come out with some dinosaur from the 70s who put on broadways with 5 total ing minutes of actual wrestling in a one hour match.
