Dave Meltzer is reporting that The Undertaker is injured once again. Apparently his shoulder is in bad shape and he needs surgery that would keep him until at least next year. No word yet if he plans on getting the surgery or working through it. As we previously reported there is talk of this being Taker’s last run and that he may retire come Wrestlemania.

I remember this being reported before...
And it is quite obvious with the way the match ended at Bragging Rights that Taker would take time off.
Buried alive = Taker time off or TTO for short.

But he has a Steel Cage Match on SmackDown! on the 9th November against Kane for the WHC This confuses me. He's obviously not going to be taking any time off.

His body is breaking down at a rapid rate. He only has 2 or 3 good matches left in him, so I hope the WWE chooses those matches wisely.

But then again, this is 'Taker. But then again, Austin 2002 comes to mind. But then again, this is an injury.

And they've been advertising Undertaker in a fatal 4 way for the dark main event for tomorrow's Smackdown taping for a month now.

Yeah but they really have been advertising the crap out of it... Promos of 'Taker in front of the camera talking about how he will beat Kane in england, and ones with narratives, its the only match they have been hyping for smackdown in the UK and we see the ads every 15 mins it seems.

Here we go again, another way for the dirtsheets to try and predict takers retirement for the 600th year in a row. We get it, takers getting older, but their failed attempts to call his reitrement are lame as.

He needs to retire soon. He is one of my all time favorite's but it seems he is always banged up or taking time off.

Well that sucks but I'm so glad they didn't put the belt on him.
I hope he can be back before Mania if he does have surgery.

Dirtsheets have indeed been saying time and time again he will retire soon but you gotta admit his body is breaking down quickly, with one injury fast on the heels of a previous one.
I see him retiring at mania 2012.
2013 would be pushing it.

He should face Barrett at WM 27 and Cena at WM 28 to retire 20-0. Somewhere along the line he has to get revenge on Kane.
