It's election time in America, and it's hard to tell who is telling the whole truth. Well, here's a dose of truth for you. “Consequences Will Never Be the Same” sucked some serious ass for Malakai. Seriously. If that night could have gone any worse, it would have ended with Malakai getting hit by a train.
...well, he was hit with the Breakdown. Close enough.
Alas, he wasn't. Regardless, the events that unfolded at Consequences were just wrong on so many levels. For starters, we now have a woman as champion. Whoops. Next, Thunder retired. No real harm there, but he was a cool dude all in all. Then, Malakai and Stone were given the seemingly impossible task of upending the WFWF Tag Team Champions. Finally, Braden Munroe put his nose where it didn't belong (once again to Malakai, let the record show) and took out Stone before the match, leaving Malakai to fend for himself. Malakai's talented, don't EVER let that fact get away from you, but two on one in any situation, especially against EBR and DGX isn't exactly...good. But for what it's worth, he held his own so...respect Malakai's way.
Normally Malakai'll just sit back and let things play out. Not take sides unless forced, keep an open mind to all sides etcetera. But not this time. This time Munroe crossed a line that should never be crossed in the WFWF. He made the mistake of being the one who got in Malakai's way of championship glory in the WFWF. Every time Malakai gets so close, and yet someone always comes in and ruins it. This time, it was Braden Munroe. Needless to say, Malakai's beyond pissed.
“Damn straight.”
…
It would appear Malakai actually has something to say in all of this. How he can hear the narration is beyond comprehension, but we're strapped for time here. Fourth wall aside, roll with it, will ya?
“Braden had quite the opposite result at Consequences though. He not only won the number one contendership for Wayne's world title, which is currently in possession of Thunder, which is another mishap at Consequences that should be noted, but he effectively eliminated two of the people who could have given him the most problem in the future, and is planning on doing the same thing to me this week. He's pretty good, no one can doubt that. But you can't let grin of his and that vixen on his arm fool, there's a dark side there.”
“Braden Munroe is exactly what's wrong with the WFWF, and is the whole reason I am here on my mission for Him. Braden has a compulsive need to be in the spotlight. When he's around, everything has to be all about him, and if you think about it, I'm normally on the brunt end of it. His run to the International Championship? He had to cheat me out of my shot in the tournament. One of his many returns with Michaels? He gunned after Ashton and I mistakenly and stupidly got myself caught in the crossfire. His run towards the WFWF Championship? He took out everyone who could get in his way, with myself on his hit list, the next name he'd like to check off.”
“See, he requires a certain amount of spotlight to keep him going, and he's willing to do anything and everything to get it. That dorky personality of his does him no justice, and I'm the only one who can truly see him for what he really is. He acts like such a goof, but then he tries to act like a tough guy with a dark side. Maybe he does have a dark side. Granted, mine's bigger, but I digress. I mean, I guess everyone has a little bit of a dark side after all, but when I think of Braden's it's like this. His darkside reminds me of a little emo, one that's just sitting in the darkest corner of his mind, crying his eyes out and cutting himself. But the thing is, pissing off an emo is never a good thing. Either their constant bitching and whining will get obscenely loud, or they might just turn that razor on you. I think the latter is Braden.”
Hey. Comparing an emo so someone who is seeking spotlight and attention. Clever, Malakai.
“Regardless, it's about time I stop playing around with Braden. I'm honestly pissed at the moment, mainly because of Braden. I don't take anyone lightly, least of all Braden. However, for the first time in a while, I'm actually feeling confident. I think I've finally figured out why I'm here, and it's to rid the WFWF of Braden Munroe. I finally have enough ammunition to fight back too. There's no need for someone here who is all about the spotlight, not wanting to actually improve the company. I know what I must do.”
