EDIT/UPDATE for Oct. 29:As I kinda expected, some people thought the "kind of comic book like" format was okay and some people didn't like it (well, the few that have replied so far). I can get that, and even though I chose such format, I still like the regular pic fed standard, so I decided to make two versions of the show, enjoy the style you like the most: Regular Pic Fed Format:wrestlecity.50webs.com/s01e01%20segment%201/untitled1.htmlComic Book Format:wrestlecity.50webs.com/index.html---------------------------------------------------------------- First of all, I wanna thank Warsman for coming up with this little challenge with a deadline and everything, it really got me out of a very long rut (years actually) from the moment I received my first Jakks figs on the mail (Taker, HHH and Cena) until actually putting this show together. As figures, rings, arenas, pictures, feuds and ideas kept piling up, I never got around to starting. Somewhere. Anywhere. This is something like a hobby for me, I do it for fun and I don't pretend to be a great photographer, booker, poser, storyteller, commentary writer or anything else for that matter. I can't match most wrestling moves with their actual names if my life depended on it, but this is a show about little plastic men that fight in a big plastic ring, they just don't know it (please don't tell them). There are Good Guys and there are Bad Guyz. They don't get along. The Wrestling City Federation was recently purchased by some mysterious person and after a very long hiatus, Wrestling City Mayhem is back on the air. Enjoy...

Pros: Your website set up is nice. Some poses were good. Comic book style quotes is cool. Your arena set up is nice. Hardcore ring! I have been trying to find one for a while. Cons: Picture effects got really annoying Some poses were stiff. The main event was a little short for a main event. Overall, is this your first show? If so, it was really good, much better than my first . There are a couple things that can be fixed, but once they are you will have an awesome show!

I thought the pic effects were cool and something you dont see everyday. Mel gibson as an announcer? Overall I liked it a lot and if it was your first show you're doing a heck of good job.

N1SF: Pros: Your website set up is nice. Thanks. Some poses were good. Thanks again.Comic book style quotes is cool. Glad you liked them.Your arena set up is nice. The picture effects help the overall feel.Hardcore ring! I have been trying to find one for a while. I'm a big fan of the Hardcore Ring, plus my work desk is too small for a RSR. Just spent a load on getting the additional ring posts, skirts and Chaos in the Hell for it.Cons: Picture effects got really annoying I am aware. I went through several phases, from normal use of pics to this. I just decided to choose a format and stick with it. Sometimes it looks cool, sometimes it looks crappy. Very crappy. Like the old comics books that got so blurred with ink you couldn't get what was going on.Some poses were stiff. Yes, I agree. They are little plastic men and on top of that, I am not a very good poser. The main event was a little short for a main event. I got my inspiration for the general feel of the show from a very little Hasbro Figure photo progression I stumbled upon in Flickr that went on for about 15 images or so with very small minimalistic dialogue. I loved it. Reminded me of the View Master reels. Believe me, my matches would be way shorter if it were for me. One more time, like in the comic books, where sometimes a fight can take just a few panels.Overall, is this your first show? If so, it was really good, much better than my first . There are a couple things that can be fixed, but once they are you will have an awesome show! This is my first show. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe some things get better, probably some won't, I recognize my weak points. Bigeviljohn: Glad you liked the pic effects. For some reason, every time I look at that Stevie Richards figure, it reminds me of Mel Gibson, nicely dressed up for the day he joins some wacky cult. It just stuck.

I dug the show. Overall, I wished the main was longer and that Kidman did his shooting star press. Great show man. The setup, arena, presentation was nice and unique.

The pictures are so bad I had to quit viewing. I just couldn't take that style of picture. I added a special "Regular Pic Fed" version of the show, for those who find the other format annoying/ugly/yucky/patito feo/stinky/etc...

wowzers, I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this was.
Never seen your fed before or yourself around the boards, but seriously dude that was epic.
It reminded me of the '07 era of Mainstream - Indy feds like ROG & BAoW.
Awesome awesome roster, loved the use of WCW guys.
Your arena is clean & very good lighting. Sweet ring, ropes are epic too.
Match length was great, poses were okay, in time you'll get better it's a practise thing I guess.
But overall dude, this was bloody brilliant.
Can't wait to see another show soon.

Glad you liked the show. Maybe we find out what weirded Rey out in the next episode. Angry Man attacked Kidman to give the Role Model an edge, but I guess they didn't count on Mole Man coming in with that steel chair. I like the yellow ropes too, for now.

I was pleasantly surprised that not so many people came out saying my show sucked, really. It's my first time posting a fed and I read the forums a lot but don't reply that much, guess I'm just a really quiet guy that doesn't like to ruffle anyone's feathers. Looks like them yellow ropes are getting popular. I know my poses aren't the best, I'm a stiff jointed fella, don't blame the little plastic guys, not their fault. I can't wait to see the next show either, I'm actually letting it percolate right now...

I am a big fan of your show, it brings me fond memories of better times, where there was more attitude and stunners and our favorite wrestlers didn't make it to the Crime Library website. I owe you a Shooting Star Press (actually gave you a shady wink wink reference in the Pic Fed version of the episode), those damn grunge short molds limit Kidman's mobility.

Good show man. I viewed both versions, and I do think that the comic format was a fun touch, but yeah, the pics kinda became a bit much. The show itself though was really good, I like the Bad Guyz/Good Guys idea that you have, something original. Rey stopping the match and staring off into the unknown was pretty cool, i'm interested to see how that unfolds. Your poses were good, and your pics are also very clear. You have a good thing going on here, definitely keep it up! Can't wait to see Ep. 2!

Glad you enjoyed the show. I plan on making future episodes in both formats, but keeping the comic book format as the alternative and the classic picture format as the standard. I can understand it becoming a bit too much after a while, more so since not all the shots always translate well into that format. I just like the overall layout the comic book format gives in comparison to the regular one, which looks more HTML basic in my eyes. Show 2 is still percolating...

VERY well done! I wasn't sure what expect to be honest, but both presentations were great. The pics were very clear, the commentary flowed well, and the matches were all a good length. Doing it in both formats was neat to see, and I'm a bit torn as to which i prefer. THink I'd rather just have the real wrestlers names, but it's not a biggie. Overall, one of the best new shows on the board. Hopefully you'll keep up the good work.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I posted the show, and I'm glad it had a positive reception. As much as I love the comic book format, I'm getting hooked on the classic pic fed style, plus it's so much faster to develop. I changed their names because they are indeed not the same characters, which I am sure may stir some controversy from purists, but try to explain to 2 little plastic men that they are not who they think they are. Pretty damn hard. Thanks for the great comments
