It'll be funny if that's the case. Funny as hell.
But, Condit vs. Lytle isn't happening until later on that month. The main fight card will probably go down like I have it listed.

My bad. I must have mis-read the Condit/Lytle bit because I thought it was 126.
Either way, I wish SOMETHING would bump Fitch off the main card. It could motivate his ass to actually work for a win instead of avoiding a loss.

It's happened before. His fight after he lost to GSP was on the prelims.

I am convinced Fitch purposely doesn't try to finish just to play it safe. I don't remember a single time when he was even close to finishing someone, just when he was close to being finished himself.

If you avoid a loss, you win which is what every athlete wants. Right?I like how a guy that is 2nd all time for most consecutive victories is a bad fighter. For implementing his plan. Wow Brock takes people down and pounds them, that's his plan. GSP takes people down and does the same thing Jon does. Does he get **** on? Anderson Silva does not ingage with anyone unless they come to him, Wow he must suck too right? Really guys think about what you type before you do it. Wandy has said many times "Win or lose, I fight for the fans!" I'm not trying to prove you wrong or nothing, you're One of the few guys I like on here but I believe some go out there just to fight. Even Rampage has mentioned this.

GSP does NOT do the same thing Jon does...Jon will literally lay on top of a fighter not really trying to improve position or going for submissions...or even GnP. GSP however has been getting a bad rep as of late for no reason, really. Other than the fact that he doesn't finish guys as often as he used to....same as Anderson. GSP went for MULTIPLE submission attempts against Dan Hardy. He just wasn't able to finish him. Anderson holds the record for the most consecutive wins....only 3 of those wins came by decision/tko(doctor stoppage). Every other win was by submission or KO. so please don't ever compare Fitch to either fighter. If you want to compare him to someone compare him to someone with a wrestling pedigree that is substantially high. The comparison of him to Brock was okay I suppose but even Brock tries to utilize his donkey kong punches...Rashad Evans is a good comparison for Fitch...but even Rashad has somewhat entertaining fights. I don't know what to say about Fitch...I mean I think it is impressive that he wins as often as he does...but I just wish he would try to finish more often. I know it is easier said than done but at least SHOW the crowd you are trying to finish and not just trying to keep your opponent on the ground without advancing position..

Obviously what I was trying to convey went over your pea brain, even though it is a very common analogy in sports, and an analogy that you of all people being a guy who is constantly talking about your training should be familiar with, so allow me to try again. Some fighters actively try to finish fights, are aggressive, and fight to win and some fighters just coast, doing just enough to get by, are not very aggressive and active, and fight not to lose. Fitch is the worst of the "do as little as possible" guys. GSP has actually tried to finish fights, Anderson has actually tried to finish fights, Machida has actually tried to finish fights. I honestly cannot remember the last time Fitch actually TRIED to win or TRIED to finish the fight.
