I just don't understand WWE logic sometimes. For the better part of 2 years they pushed Chris Masters when he was green and wrestled like generic musclehead #20953. They rehire him last summer and give him a small push only to condemn him to Superstars hell for the last year, where he's stepped up his game considerably as a babyface and routinely puts on good matches. He even had what I would call great matches with Dolph Ziggler on Superstars and SmackDown. And yet he goes out there almost every week and jobs to guys like Chavo, The Dudebusters, Tyler Reks, and Luke Gallows. It's like some sort of bizarre reverse logic where the less talent you have the more of a push you get.
also his new theme has really grown on me.

I completely agree. Always been a fan of The Masterpiece.
He could easily be a solid midcarder on Smackdown if not more.

He's one of those guys who was pretty much hired for his "physique" and couldn't wrestle a lick.
But he improved himself 10 fold over the course of that first year...and got himself suspended (not surprising)...bringing him back I thought they would have realized they had the talent there and were gonna push him but now he's just jobber fodder.
It's a damn shame because he can actually work. He sells moves very well, and is not sloppy in the ring at all. He is seriously under-used, and I hope that changes soon. I'd like to see him make a run at the IC title when the Ziggler/Bryan feud is done
I will admit though, I really miss his old entrance & theme. Especially the theme.

I like Masters, but I'm not a huge fan.
I don't understand WWE's problem with him. He fits everything WWE wants except for mic skills, and he's not that bad.

Agreed. He has really stepped up and I actually enjoy watching him. I think he has more to offer, so hopefully they push him towards the IC title.

I agree, apart from people claiming he's improved his ring work tenfold.
He was never that bad to begin with.
I will also say that Face Masters with dancing pecs and what not > Heel Masters with incredibly long, narcissistic entrance.

I like Masters he has "The Look" to be a Main-Eventer. I haven't heard him on the mic in a while so I wouldn't know if he's improved. I watched one of his Superstars matches and it was pretty good. I'd love to see him get a push sometime soon.

I agree 100%! He's well deserving of at least a mid-card push. And with guys like Goldust & Kane both finally getting their turn hopefully Master's will get a shot soon.
And I also agree with Willbuh, I never thought Masters was that bad in the ring.

Huge masters fan since day one, really stepped it up a notch recently, but i do prefer him in his heel "The masterpiece" role.

I thought he deserved a push in early 2006, when he and Carlito were the last two in the chamber with Cena, I thought they looked legit.

He has about a good of a chance at getting a push as Val Venis does of winning the IC title again.

I still don't see the appeal for Masters, it was super pointless bringing him back.

I actually liked his first entrance a lot more, and him being a heel. It would of looked so great with an IC/US title on his waist.

I have always been a fan of the guys..I liked his entrance...it reminded me so much of Lex Lugers "narcissist" gimmick when he would pose with all the mirrors surrounding him...I think his in ring ability has improved and he has the look to be a midcarder..if not main eventer. But I think he could have a very successful career as a midcarder..
he even commented on the whole thing saying that WWE likes to mind f*** their talent. They will give you a little and make it seem like you are going straight to the top and then they take it away just to see how you react...
