No way Hamill is a future world champ. As said above, I see him getting dominated by any of the top contenders. I can't say alot for sure, but judging by what's happening now, I definately see JDS, John Jones, and Jose Aldo being world champs in the UFC. uhh.. as of 1/1/11, Jose Aldo already will be a UFC World Champion.. Yeah, I realized that right after I typed it. Didn't bother to fix it. |

I'm not on the Cain band wagon just yet, he impressed me by beating Brock, but that was his only impressive performance I've seen from him. I would like to think it was more of an off night for Brock. With that said, I think Brock will get his title back. But JDS might get it first.
As for Hamil, he's the Kenny Florian of the LHW division. He's great, but he'll never be champ. I see Rampage taking it from Shogun.
I see Marquardt as the next MW champ after Silva retires. I would like to see Vitor dethrone Silva though.
GSP isn't going anywhere IMO, he's very well rounded, and to me, his total domination of every opponent for 5 rounds his last few fights is more impressive than any KO or Sub. Anybody can nab a KO or sub, it takes talent to control and dominate a guy for 5 rounds. With the level of training these guys go through, submissions should be second nature.
Gray Maynard is my pick for the next LW.

Let's bump this thread up. Some interesting picks from a few years ago.
I stick by my original prediction but the photo is missing. Gunnar Nelson WW Champ perhaps by the end of 2014/15.
Conor McGregor will also be a UFC Championship.
