Hey my friend (ConChairTo420) showed me this figure MOC this weekend. He told me that he bought it off a member of this board. Does anybody else have any info on this variant? I couldnt believe it.

Apparently the black one shown at some show was never released. Except for one accidently released, which someone bought and was offering for sale.

There are 5 black ones, if that amount, that exist...Leopard skin is the variant, red is the regular.

That dude tried to put it off as something amazing on here, i remember chewing him out about it.
The black trunks Monty Brown is the most common TNA figure in my area, and that kid tried telling me that it was the rarest of all.. blah blah..
Its nothing special to be honest.

I don't get into TNA figs much, I'm not to sure that the black tights one is limited to like 5 or so, I made a post (I think it was the 1st one) awhile back about the chris harris variant and they had 2 different Monty Brown's there as well, 1 red and 1 black, If they were limited to 5 or so I don't think my local target would of had one. If this comes to light as being a fact on the black trunks then I will never forgive myself ( I didn't buy the Harris or Monty because I didn't know which ones were the "rarer" variants).

I have never seen that black trunks Monty anywhere. I would definitely buy it, it looks great. I take the Penguins fan's comments with many grains of salt.

That makes atleast 12 people on here that have seen one. Therefore, theres not like 5. When I get some extra cash, ill go to TRU and WILL take the pics, but until I get money, I have no reason to take a trip up there, considering its a good 20 minutes away. |
