Man, Nate is just not ready for a title shot at all. He thinks he is, but let's face it, he's not. If he can't beat Okami, then there's just no way he'll ever beat Anderson Silva. I don't think we'll ever see Nate fight Silva again. That was strictly a one-time fight and we all know who won and if by some sort of miracle they were to fight again, I'd go with the same guy that won the first time around.
Overall, I thought it was an ok card. I enjoyed it and thankfully it was free. I'd be kinda pissed if I had to pay for it. I just don't think it was an event worth paying for, that's all.

It's common knowledge to just stay off the boards during shows like this. Someone will always spoil something. Yea but when it is mentioned that it is on tape delay and said that not to post spoilers you would think some would have some respect not to do so. I guess I learned my lesson, no getting on the internet when tape delayed events are on.I get what you mean, but you know how this site can be sometimes. People tend to be more eager to post their own thoughts, rather than read what has been said by anyone else. I'm more shocked we made it this far without anyone spoiling anything. I remember when the Bisping/Kane fight went down, it was spoiled very quickly by multiple posters.

I never thought I would be saying this but I agree with you. However Silva Vs Okami will be a tough fight to call.

Really happy to see Siver bring the thunder like he did. Winner needed to knocked down a few pegs, and Dennis obliged just fine.
Iffy judging decision with Ludwig, but I'm glad he won. Was it a questionable judges decision? Sure. Was it highway robbery? Not quite.
Loved the Soszynski (sp?) fight. He likely isn't going to destroy any elite LHW fighters, but he comes ready and willing to get his hands dirty.
Man, The Kimbo Killer got mauled by Carlos. It wasn't too pretty of a fight technique-wise, but it was something to see.
Okami/Mardquardt, sorry to say, was a bit of a stinker. Obviously a clash of styles, but both guys seemed off. Nate is slowly slipping into the role of a gatekeeper. Still plenty of good fights out there for him at MW though.

Siver is the real star. That counter left hand was crazy and perfectly timed. The submission also showed that he is getting more and more well-rounded.

I guess it makes a change from the UK fans having the results spoiled for them all the time....

I guess it makes a change from the UK fans having the results spoiled for them all the time.... Maybe you guys need to speak up then. I doubt many of us would do it on purpose if we knew. But again its just best for everyone, regardless of location,to avoid the boards if the event isn't live for your area.

The rules are smple, if you don't want an event spoiled STAY OF THE INTERNET!!!
I've been caught out by this before & now just ignore all sites as totally ruins watching an event knowing the result.
As for 122 I'm amazed at the amount of people saying Nick was robbed, & I'm a Brit. Clearly Nick won round one, however it was just as clear that Ludwig won round three as Nick just gave up, not heard yet if he was injured or just tired. So all comes down to how you saw the middle round, I saw Bang cotrolling the striking, Nick hit a takedown but did nothing with it leading to a ref standup due to inaction. For me bang took the second round.
Love watching Amir fight, just wish he had a bit more power behind those shots. Vemola looked a freaking beast, however look at who he beat. However the drop to 205 seems the right move for him. Siver looked great, madfe it a bad night for the Brits but impressive win. Nate did nothing, but I can't see how that luckluster win gets Okami a title shot in 2011.

All around it was a great show. A little disappointed in the main event(not the results, just the fight itself), but glad to see Okami finally getting his shot. Great show though. Amir getting another win + the leg kick record <3 Vemola completely ing Petruzelli. Looked like Penn/Pierre II minus the finish. Siver/Winner was great. Loved every minute of it. Ludwig/Osipczak was a fun fight too.

And that's why I love Siver. The body lock holding the left arm was just a great sight to see. I'm so glad to see people finally giving him his due.
