Spoilers or not, pretty good fight thus far. Cub is gonna make fans real quick in the UFC. Seeing this makes me excited for the merger. It'll be interesting to see how many good LW fighters currently in the UFC decide to drop to FW.

Awesome fight. Start signing that FOTN check now, cause I don't see the last two fights topping it.

Javier just gave up this fight by being careless on the feet.

Javier really needs to learn some offense from his back. His top game is superb, but he seriously lacks in offensive jiu-jitsu.

Wow, Faber is actually LOSING the standup battle in the first round.

WHY did Mizugaki do that? That was very silly to bring it to the floor. He deserved to get choked out.

Tough loss for Mizugaki. That was one costly mistake for him, overreacting to Faber trying a guillotine.

I wasn't really impressed with Faber tonight, lost the stand up and Mizugaki ed up which is the only reason he won. Also 3-0 for Alpha tonight.

Great performance from Mighty Mouse. Love Damacio too, but tonight wasn't his night. Benavidez is a monster and I for one hope he is able to fight Faber someday in the UFC. I know they are team mates but this is a dream fight for me. Really think he can beat Urijah. Koch is well on his way to a title shot, and if he can pull off another performance like that he may very well get it. Mendes is looking like the GSP of 145. He needs to get the winner of Aldo/Grispi. Javier Vazquez has a superb rubber guard, but as stated needs to employ more offense. Urijah's striking looked like **** tonight imo. Takeya was doing well until giving up his back. Ref was a little late on that stoppage, but nothing too bad. Swanson/Semerzier was without question fight of the night and is an example of what I'll miss most about WEC. Can't wait for the last and final WEC card. They seem to be pushing Pettis to the moon. War Bendo!!! Edit: Swanton from Mendes was ing sweet.

I wasn't really impressed with Faber tonight, lost the stand up and Mizugaki ed up which is the only reason he won. Also 3-0 for Alpha tonight. I don't understand how stopping a guy who hasn't been finished in 4 years isn't "impressive." Especially a guy who's fought Rani Yahya, Scott Jorgensen, Jeff Curran, Miguel Torres and Masakatsu Ueda recently. Mizugaki is a very good striker, as we've seen. He gives problems to every fighter he faces. Once Faber got inside on him, he landed 2 big blows which obviously made Mizugaki uncomfortable. It caused him to make the mistake. A mistake that Faber capitalized on. When you create the mistake, you've obviously done something right.

great card. Mendes looked great...gets a bad rep. for being your typical lay n pray one dimensional wrestler but I think he looked great. Very explosive.
Faber looked good as well. I really can't wait to see more fights from him at 135.
