(Since the other thread was locked, I decided to create a new one. I've decided to give this another go and after some debating, I decided to tweak the story just a bit. For anyone who didn't see my last thread, this is based on my figure federation, and I will have a lay out soon along with more graphics and I may include some pictures from my figure federation. I hope you all enjoy this and I would like some feed back on the back story thank you.)
The Beginning of A "Higher Power"
The Bound For Glory pay per view took place and revealed the group of Immortal, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy, Abyss, and the faction known as Fortune. Hulk Hogan claimed there was a higher meaning behind Immortal it wasn't just a take over situation. Hogan explained on the following Reaction, it was much more and there was another a "higher power" at work and it would all be revealed in time. For week's following the pay per view Immortal showed their dominance and continued their destructive behavior taking out on the originals of TNA. The next TNA pay per view took place, which was known as Turning point and that it was for the Immortal group. Jeff Hardy successfully retained the championship and Eric Bischoff announced that evening on the next impact it was time to reveal the higher power at work. He promised to reward Hardy with something more than just a world championship as well. Finally the impact episode came and everyone in Immortal was called to the ring by Hulk Hogan. Eric Bischoff came out last and announced to everyone it was time for Hardy to hold a real championship. Everyone seemed confused until none other than Shane McMahon stepped out unannounced behind him holding a belt case that had the infamous WCW lettering on it. He took the microphone as the crowed were just in shock he explained he was the "higher power" he was the real leader of "Immortal" he would go explain his sudden departure from the WWE and his non existing relationship with who he called his former farther Vince McMahon. He went to the ring and presented the championship to Jeff Hardy. He went on to make another shocking announcement, he explained Dixie Carter didn't sign away TNA, she signed away all rights to anyone in Immortal's contracts among and 90 day suspension of her own. He stated he didn't need a woman meddling in his master plan. He stated he had now signed, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett to WCW but he had not signed Fortune it was up to them wither they wanted to follow. Of course Ric Flair was first to sign but the TNA originals Robert Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, were reluctant to sign. And of course in the end AJ, Robert, James, decided to stay and resign with the Carter family. This didn't please the rest of Immortal but Shane McMahon made an announcement "he didn't need rookies, he needed talent".
The Change in Power?
With Immortal's departure from TNA, The carter family returned and took control once more. Meanwhile Shane McMahon was busy signing with Turner Broadcasting Station (TBS) for a Monday night prime time slot. Although Ted Turner wasn't involved this time he couldn't refuse to get back at his old adversary McMahon by signing the competition. The media was buzzing about this and everyone in the WWE were on there toes and it appeared a new and true Monday night war was in the making. The very first Nitro appeared on TBS in a eight pm time slot and it ran three hours, matches included the return of star's that had not appeared on television in quite sometime with the return of Booker T as he took on Scott Steiner in the opening match. The next match was of course another WCW classic, this time with cruiser weights, Psychosis took on Jamie Noble, Kid Kash, and Paul London for the championship. Kid Kash took home the gold becoming the new cruiser weight champion. The other matches included a tag team match between Sabu and Sandman Vs. Mahoney and Brother Runt. During the broadcast Shane McMahon announced he would sign the biggest name in pro wrestling in the ring before the broadcast came to a close. It was hyped up all night by the announcers Jim Ross and Bill Demott (formerly Hugh Morris) The time came around the top of the broadcast at 10:00 pm. Shane McMahon had the ring decorated with a podium and red carpet. He came down and announced the signing of none other than the biggest name in wrestling today.... The Rock! The Rock came to the ring and signed on the dotted line for the whole world to see! Shane McMahon then went on to announce he was appointing Eric Bischoff the new general manger of Monday Nitro.
Another Angle of Immortal?
During the celebration of The Rock's arrival Kurt Angle stormed the crowed and attacked The Rock and tried to get his hands on McMahon but Shane McMahon made his way out of the ring and called for security. Security came down and apprehended Angle which didn't set well for the audience in attendance. Eric Bischoff then came out and stated if Kurt Angle want's to medal in his affairs and ruin his broadcast he would put it all on the line in the main event. He stated if Angle beat the Rock he would sign Angle to WCW if not then Angle would never wrestle again.. period. No loop holes, no excuses. Angle accepted but of course the Rock disagreed but had no choice but to compete. the main event would draw so many viewers it put WCW in the top rating for that evening, Kurt Angle and The Rock wrestled for over thirty minutes and in the final minutes of the match He caught him with the third Angle slam and pinned him for the three count. This infuriated Eric Bischoff and he sent Abyss, WCW Champion Jeff Hardy, and Jeff Jarrett to the ring to attack Kurt Angle. He tired to hold his own but couldn't and was beat down by Immortal, until out of the rafter's came "the Icon" Sting! He cleared the ring and tried to help Angle up but Angle brushed him off and left the ring leaving Sting with his hand out. So What's next for this twisted Angle? Is Sting another secret member of Immortal? Or is he on Angles side find out in the next episode of WCW Monday Nitro on TBS.
