The word making the rounds is that Eric Young has signed a new deal with TNA where he'll be able to take independent dates on his own for dates when the company doesn't require his services.
As I noted a few days back, he was still in discussions with the company when his deal expired on 11/1 and based on the TV they ran last week, they expected him to remain.

Glad to hear.

He's clearly so worthless they re-signed him...
But honestly, I'm glad he has re-signed.

I'm sure indy promoters can't wait to book Eric Young. Booking him probably gets you at least three extra tickets sold.

Good resigning, hopefully he goes into a serious heel mode now. That's the last thing he needs to go back to. Glad he's back with TNA, as I am really enjoying his comedy with Orlando Jordan.

Vintage CM Show and his tunnel vision.

Eric Young is such a paradox. Its like he has never really found his footing in the company to build momentum.
- Canadian gimmick. - Nervous Eric - Super Eric - World Elite Eric - Latest bafoon Eric.
For somebody so small with such generic looks and no real stand out ability (come on, I dare you to list ten great matches he has had in five years) I find it odd that they would bring him back when they are losing so much money.

I enjoy him, glad he's gonna stay with TNA, I think his best gimmick was when he was paranoid

Good resigning, hopefully he goes into a serious heel mode now. -- Agreed! His funny stuff is exactly that, funny! But his heel stuff was great and highly under-rated (plus, he's a TNA guy and not an ex-E'er)

I though EY was ok when he was heel leader of World Elite.
But this intellectually- disabled, Eugene style character needs to stop

great news. Really enjoying his current goofy character. There's a video on Jeff Jarrett's Youtube channel of him and Jay Lethal chatting after a match, hilarious stuff. More of the same please, TNA.

How much you wanna bet he had to suck someone's dick in order to keep his job in TNA,which he has been doing all along to keep his job.No one in there right mind wants Eric Young. He just does not draw.It figures TNA would resign him again, and they did it just to piss fans off for those that don't want him there, and can't stand the bunghole.

TNA must be kicking themselves in the ass for jokingly offering him half of his last contract and him taking it. Ridiculous. He needs TNA WAY more than they need him. The guy is a waste of money, no matter how much they are paying him. He won't ever draw a dime and they know it, but he can work a bit and can put people over by having them squash him. There goes the grape money TNA were going to give to Matt Hardy as a signing bonus.
