I like the X-Men in general so I choose other since any of the ones left off the poll would get my vote.

Not from Marvel, nor DC...but from the 80s classic series - The Greatest American Hero...Ralph Hinkley. Why? When he didn't have the suit on, he was a normal guy. He was flawed, insecure, a realist. He hated having the suit thrust upon him, couldn't control it, but he reluctantly did what he had to do.

Thor. Took a shine to him while playing 4 player co-op on Marvel UA, and hes been my fave ever since. Batman in a close second.

My favourite stories are Batman for the most part, but as far as Batman himself, I'm not particularly a fan. As you said, the Batman Rogue's gallery is by far the greatest, in fact they're so great that 90% of the time I'm rooting for them and hoping Batman gets his ass kicked. Whilst I'm definitely partial to a bit of Flash and Green Lantern, I voted 'other'. My vote goes to Green Arrow. Flash has a better Rogues Gallery IMO. The only Flash villains that I know of is Ragdoll and Mr. Free... I mean Captain Cold. Flash villains aren't nearly as well known as Batman villains. Batman villains are the most iconic villains of all.

Ever since I was really young Ive always loved The Incredible Hulk.
At a young age I watched the 80s and 90s cartoons and loved him because he was the strongest and he wasn't like other heroes. I was also exposed to the classic Incredible Hulk TV show and loved that too because I could relate to Banner being lonely and of course getting angry!
I wasn't serious into the comics but when I was 12/13 I discovered the Peter David era of Hulk comics which made me love the character even more because of the whole split personality thing and the whole Grey Hulk story in Vegas was gold.

Wolverine. He's such a badass those freakin claws are killer. I've Always loved Wolverine and I liked the fact he always messed with Spidey. My best friends favorite was Spiderman so I would always bust his chops by saying Wolverine would make Spidey his bitch.

Batman villains are the most iconic villains of all. I don't know about that. To me Batman has the one villain who stands out and is freaking awesome - Joker. Now, Joker is an amazing character. Beyond that, who do you have? Most of Batman's villains are either musclebound goons (Bane, Killer Croc, etc....) or the evil businessman type who want to run the crime world (Black Hand, Penguin, etc....) Flash's villains all have some sort of gimmicky power which makes them a far more interesting sort overall IMO.

Batman's villains are slightly more realistic and believable. Not only that but the Joker, Catwoman, the Riddler, the Penguin, and Two Face are way more iconic than Captain Cold, Magenta, Trickster, Captain Boomerang, or Mirror Master. The Flash does have some really cool villains. but I never realized it until you mentioned something because they're not as well known.

For me, since the late 70's, my favorites have been Batman and Captain America. That hasn't changed.

Thor! He's a God and I was raised to believe in the Nordic and European pantheons.
