 I was watching WM 21 and wanted to ask what you guys thought about Undertaker's entrance. I wasn't a member here back then, so how do you think Undertaker "glided/floated" to the ring? Do you think he was on some sort of motorized skateboard, or platform with a pulley system that led all the way down the ramp? Please keep the answers serious. |

1. ^^ That post just made my night.
2. I think it was some kind of track. Similar to train tracks, Undertaker was on a small platform that was fitted on the track and rode it down.

Some sort of board/pulley system. I read somewhere a few weeks ago that the fog didn't rise high enough and you could actually see the board at certain points but I've never noticed it.

definitely some kind of board or pulley system. i remember thinking the fog was unusually thick when he came out then i think i even remember him kinda going a little too fast at certain points.

I burst out laughing first time I saw it because the guy operating the system was viewable from a top view behind a camera guy.

I was actually there. Sitting a few rows back behind the "Wrestlemania goes Hollywood" sign. I actually watched the crew set it up. It was like a small stage/platform as wide as the aisle, with wheels underneath on either side. From my angle you could see it pretty good even with the fog smoke, but it was still dam impressive!

The edge of the board was visible alongside the guard rail around the halfway mark. I did get a laugh at Taz' comments though regarding his entrance and how Taker was moving but not walking. Watching that match again reminds me how much I miss Taker wearing the leather pants instead of the tights. |
