It was really nice going old school last night and I loved how they set-up the entrance set. I for one think they should keep it like that for a good while to make Raw, which is suppose to be their top show, different from NXT,Superstars, and Smackdown. Anyone else agree?

No. It's nice for nostalgia, but just doesn't cut in todays landscape.

They should keep the set, the interview platform, JR and the way the ring looked.

I think it would be ok to go back to the HD set they use currently, However, the blue ring, red/white/blue ropes needs to stay. As does the guard rails. Also JR and King need to do commentary while Michael Cole does the interviews ala Mean Gene on the stage

I have to say, the simplicity of the arena made it reallllllllyyyyyy easy to concentrate on the in-ring action. I didnt feel distracted by lights and what-not.
It shows how much WWE has evolved, but it also showed how the old formula was never broken. Should it be kept? No.

They should do this old school RAW thing annually, as for your question, I'd love it, but it won't happen. But J.R needs to come back, it felt so much like RAW again with JR's voice calling the action.

Its ok as a one off special but I think its best to leave the old school set as memories so it doesnt get spoilt and ruin the old image of WWF that we all loved and remember.

They should do it at least once a year or they could even create an Old School PPV. I really enjoyed Raw last night, it was a lot of fun, seeing that ring with the red, white and blue ropes the WWF logo turnbuckles was so much fun.

I really liked the whole set up. Thought it looked pretty cool. However it's best to keep things like that in limited appearance because it makes it better each time you see it.
However JR needs to be back. Like, NOW

Like I said in the other thread, it was really nice to see the old school stuff again but I'm more for progress and change. So no, I don't think they should keep it, I like the current set.

Honestly, I'd say yes, on the sole basis that the current HD sets are so effing boring.

I'm for progress if things actually have gotten better, they haven't , they've got worse, so I say yes.

i think they should absolutely keep the set, the ring, and the intro. i said in another thread that it actually made raw exciting and kept my attention like raw hasnt been able to do in years. the current set and ring and theme are kinda dull and bland. everything seems to just blend together a little too much. plus the ring makes the show seem more family friendly for some reason and i think that fits in better with PG. i also think they should keep those mini promos like ziggler and kofi did. helps get the characters across better i think. id like jr to come back also but i think cole is doing a good job and grisham is next in line so there really is not any room for jr. if jr did come back full time they should make cole the miz's manager or the gm. do wat they did last night for a few weeks or months with cole and jr bickering at the announce table then finally cole goes full heel and starts yelling about how hes supposed to be the voice of the wwe.

No, don't agree, it was cool, but maybe for a once a year thing, not permanent, or anything close to permanent.

I came into wrestling at around 2000/01 so I didn't experience that every monday like a few of you here, but man that set up was fantastic. The simplicity of it all. The ring especially, and no ramp, I loved them both. Also the interview stage was always a good idea and those insert interviews are needed if they want to get people over without wasting air time. Anyway I really enjoyed it tbh.
