"She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows," the "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" artist wrote. "She deserves the apology more than anyone."
West uttered a retraction of sorts Wednesday during a 1 a.m. performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York. He stopped the concert for 10-minutes to rant about the media's scrutiny of his career.
West said he does not regret interrupting Swift's first Video Music Award win speech to champion Beyonce instead.
"When you do things like what happened last year, it's disrespectful to everyone who's creative," West said about MTV's decision to give Swift the honor. "It's a slap in the face to everyone who tries to do something real."
West implied that Swift and the VMA producers are lucky his disruption was brief.
"If I wasn't drunk, I would have been on stage longer," he said.
West compared the aftermath of the VMA incident to that of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina telethon in which he accused President Bush of not caring about black people....Oh Kanye..

I wish he'd get hit by a bus.... Not fatally of course because then I'd be a douchebag like him... but something needs to humble him because he deserves nothing of what he has. Well if he survived that ordeal he would then make a single called "Through The Feeding Tube" then declare himself the 2nd coming of himself. |

Because wishing somebody to get hit by a bus at all doesn't make you a douche. Deserves none of what he has? What exactly does that mean? He's been in the music industry for 10 years and was a no-name producer for some of that time. Nobody handed him a path to success, yet he single-handedly built up his own label which is now the hottest in all of hip-hop. I swear, just because he speaks his mind (which is often the truth most people simply don't want to hear) everybody gets their panties in a bunch and starts talking out of their ass. |

This guy only got noticed because he put out a video showing how he was in a terrible car accident. He didn't get noticed because of his music, it was because his video had pics of the accident and how his jaw was damaged. He acts like he got noticed because of his talent. He has talent, I'll give him that, but he's a douchebag and acts WAY too entitled.

As an artist i love him. As a person? I can't really stand him. He thinks he is god's gift but there are tons of rappers better then him and they don't need him or would miss him in the rap game
