It was ok. It certainly wasn't as funny as some people here thought it was.

Isnt TNA promoting an anti bullying policy somehwere? I wasn't aware an MMA "enthusiast" teaching kids MMA holds was "bullying"..

Kids getting beat up? Hilarious. I didn't watch Impact but I had to find this, I enjoyed myself throughly. Watch it leads to Jeff Jarrett vs Joe and the Kids at the next ppv. That's when it would get stupid. sounds like 1992 WWF

I know JJ's MMA enthusiast gimmick is supposed to make him look like a tool, but do you think they shouldve furthered it by having him come out in Tapout gear?

But, it's not about MMA or bringing attention to it, it's about Joe and Angle. They (TNA) Have always put over how Samoa Joe trains in MMA along with Kurt Angle which now that Jarrett has "choked out" Samoa Joe, he thinks he's some big huge "MMA expert" since Joe trains in MMA even though Jarrett didn't "choke" him out. It's not really about bringing attention to MMA nor even making fun about it, it's just based on how Angle/Joe train. It's just how the cookie crumbles, really. It's just a different way to build Jarrett up as a heel while not fully going the ways of cheating to win. Just my two cents, to each their own. -- Agreed, 100% I was hot over the fact that they did this angle, since I too train MMA and am an indy wrestler, but when you think about it, this angle is great in so many aspects: Jarrett's classic heelish charactor resurfaces, it does garner attention from outside sources (but not meant to be taken too seriously ), and it's a continuation of Jarratt mocking Joe and Angle simultaniously. The only caution Jarrett faces with this, is he's worked pretty stiff with those kicks, punches, and slaps on Borasch and such -- when the time comes, someone's gonna wind up reciepting him!

The whole gimmick is stupid, because MMA is already killing pro-wrestling. Why make fun of MMA when it's clearly stealing fans?
