People are just booing him because A.The Pres called him a jackass, and B.He went in on America's sweetheart Taylor Swift, whom I think sucks to be honest. But either way, people love his music, it sells, and he sells out shows all over the place. And when he goes on these tangents about the music industry, the things he says actually make alot of sense. As far as the rap game is considered, he's some of the only good mainstream talent that there is. Without guys like him in the mainstream, we're left with the Wocka Flockas, Soulja Boys, and Gucci Maines. |

Like Kanye doesn't know what it's like to hear crap from people? He pretty much gets this 24/7 these days. Plus that was a family event, who like someone said above was still thinking of the Taylor Swift thing.
Also that performance sucked anyway. They shouldn't make people lip synch at those. Sure the sound systems are crap, but better than looking fake.

They could be booing him because of any of the aforementioned reasons.
Then again, he's proven to be an ignorant reverse-racist (which is a stupid term, in my opinion) time and again. To say nothing of the fact that his egocentric attitude won't let him stay out of the news for more than a minute at a time. Hence, his notoriously dumb behavior. I'd boo him for that, really.
Like I said in the other Kanye thread, he embodies and defines the phrase "No Publicity is Bad Publicity." To the guy that loves all the attention, good or bad, that Kanye gets...so does Kanye. Because good or bad, he's relevant.
Or at least HE thinks he is.

when he came on during the parade, I muted the TV. My mom questioned why I muted it. "Because I don't want to hear this obnoxious prick". She takes a quick glance at the TV, sees him with like 50 chains on dancing like he's having a seizure, agrees with me, and goes back to whatever she was doing.
