I was online while they were putting the sale up. When it was first posted, everything lasted for at least 10 minutes before I left. So in other words, maybe the time zone thing confused people, because they had all the items (including that Sheamus) for awhile.

The only thing I had "stolen" from my cart was the Elite Punk, but I was buying it as a MOC double anyway, so no big loss. Same with me. That was the first thing I added Elite 6 CM Punk for $9.99 right at 3:00AM (Pacifc Standard) and at checkout it was "sold out", but then I bought the $13.99 one- still cheaper than retail, but that was pretty stupid. Did RSC only have one CM Punk for $9.99 or something? Seriously?

I won't knock RSC or their sale in general, but there are some kinks that need to be addressed for the future. No matter how you look at it,what happened to me and others on here, was the equivalent to going to a brick & mortar(TRU,WM etc) getting there on time....finding what you want....placing it in your cart and proceeding to checkout....only to have an employee come take it out of your hand and say "I'm sorry but we are out of stock on this item. Come back later today and pick it up for full price." Imagine that flying at a retail store. All I am saying is if an online merchant allows the item to be placed in a cart for purchase (as long as it does not sit in the cart for more than say,15 minutes)then you get to purchase it. Simple as that. I was an "early bird". I grabbed the figure while it was "in stock". 2 minutes later I could not purchase what I was buying. No matter the excuses, that is wrong and needs to be ironed out before the next sale of this kind is staged. .

I couldn't agree more with the last post. The fact that I had items in my cart and literally 2 mins later couldn't buy it is terrible busineess and now ringside has lost alot of my business.

That is why i didn't even bother to wake up for the sale. I knew it wouldn''t be that that great and what they did have would sell out right away.

That sort of happened to me I went to TRU when TDK was out and found Series 1 of the Movie Masters figures. I went up to the check out and said I couldn't purchase them because they weren't allowed to sell them yet. And I said then they shouldn't have been out on the pegs. and it wasn't like they were placed on random pegs. The pegs were for the Movie Masters figures. So my feeling was that I should have been able to get them because I wasn't the one who made the mistake. They stocked them early. I know it's not the same thing, but I did go to a store and have them refuse to sell me someting I found on their pegs.

I too suffered a bit. I had everything I wanted in the cart, but by the time my account info was sorted out, the Rock was no longer available. I do wish that, if you clicked check-out, that the items in your cart would stay in your cart for long enough to actually check out.
For whatever reason, my account was inaccessible and rather so I created a new one. A minute later that Rock was gone and back up for $40. Of course one must be quick, but I feel that if you have started the checkout process there should be someway to guarantee that you get what you carted in a reasonable amount of time. Keep it active for 2 minutes then, if checkout isn't completed, release the items for others to buy. It isn't like they weren't gonna just put it up for a higher price later if they didn't sell it.
My 2 cents.

Everyone here should know that during the Holidays Ringside always increases the price of their popular items. This year it's Sheamus, Legends 3 The Rock, Elite 6 Goldust(which is now going for $30) and a couple of other things. They do it because people buy it. Is it smart business? Yes, I can't fault them as long as people are buying.
It's simple if you don't want to pay that price THEN STOP BUYING!!! Ringside is only selling it for that price because people here will still buy it and then bitch when it comes on sale later on. Just be patient and don't buy it. You know the price is gonna go down.
Also I don't know why people are going nuts for Legends 3 The Rock for $14.99 when TRU.com had it two weeks ago for that price. I ordered The Rock, Perfect, Bulldog, Pillman & Vader. Paid the same price as I would in stores except for shipping which if you ordered from RSC you would of payed anyway.
Like I said it's simple. If you are gonna complain but their ridiculous prices then stop buying them!!! Wait until the price goes down. It always does. I'm not even trying to be pro ringside here or anything because I harder buy from them unless it's an exclusive but I don't buy from them because of their prices. If everyone here did the same instead of bitch maybe the prices wouldn't be the prices you all bitch about them being.

Plenty of stores will raise a price before applying a discount to it during sale season, for example. Anyway, look into your international shipping, Ringside.

I worked for UPS for 15 years before I got injured and if it's anything like it was when I got injured in 98 RSC has accounts with UPS, Fedex, USPS and every one of them gave them computer and or software that has their set shipping rates already programmed into it. The shipping company decides the rates based on the size and weight of the packages and the rates have to cover that companies expenses (payroll, fuel, etc) plus give them a profit.
