Look I know a lot of people may disagree. However I listen to various amounts of music. I liked Linkin Park there Hybrid Theory stuff. However I was kind of uninterested in the rest of their albums. I love The Dark side of the Moon. It is my favorite album. However the other day I was driving back home with my friend. The car was filled with smoke, and stars were shining so bright. and music was pulsing through me. It was "The Catalyst" by Linkin Park. I was aw-struck. I then went home and downloaded the whole album and it is held in high regard. Those 2 albums are hands down my favorite.
So what are your favorite albums? Any New/Old day match-ups?

Dream Theater's Images and Words and Queensryche's Empire are two albums that come to mind immediately when thinking of favorite albums of all time.

Every single one of HIM's albums have a certain effect for me. "The Listening" by Lights could put me in a good mood if I saw a dog get run over. That whole album is an audio smile. "Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts" by Lacrimas Profundere is for when I'm really down. I can listen to it any day, but it really makes sense to me when I'm in the dumps. "Hate Culture" or "Noir" by William Control are some other favorites. I don't like to nail down one album, I prefer listening to my collection of favorites by Michael Jackson.
