I don't know if this actually means anything, or how knowledgeable those at Jakks customer service have been through the years but I emailed them asking about Legends of the Ring series 2. The first response said the set had not been cancelled and was still coming out. So I waited a few days and from another email asked again this time adding aside from the Jeff Hardy exclusive. A different representative responded the entire set is still coming out and will be out soon. There's a good chance they just had old information, I just figured I would share. If you emailed Jakks in years past, did they give credible info, or were they often wrong.

I'm guessing its wrong or they would have them up on ringside so peope could pre-order them. Not have reoved them

I TRULY wish this was true. I really wanted that Terry Taylor figure. It would be nice if these actually did get released somehow.

I heard from Cornette Collectables on facebook the following just before Halloween Bill Thomson is there anyway of getting the cornette figure jakks had planned that is now cancelled offered through you guys directly 20 October at 02:30 · LikeUnlike. Dear lord I hope this is true. The cancellation of series 2 actually took almost all of the wind out Jakks sails for me. I have damn near ground to a stand still on TNA offerings. There's a few things I want but by and large the excitement died when this line did. This would be just what the doctor ordered to remedy that.

Yes... in DI lines, we have known this. I doubt the line is going to "come back from the dead" after RSC canceled all pre-orders for it.

I recall some months back when a member here called up Jakks Customer Service and asked them when RI1 would come out in the US, since they already came out in countries outside the US. They replied they didn't know anything about any RI series. Yeah right.

I thought he sold off his collection right off the board here and were all pissed cuz he got all this publicity off the board, when a Log like me must use Ebay or the Classifieds.
Yeah and Tim Ash is some one we all trusted.

jakks is notoriously unreliable and disorganized, and they have repeatedly lied and made false promises many, many times in the past. and their attitude to the collectors/fanbase in the last year and a half has been absolutely disgraceful too.
my attitude is i'll believe it when i see it in stock in stores/online. until then, whatever jakks says means nothing to me. they've completely lost my trust and respect.

While I wish this was true, until RSC puts LOTR 2 back up for pre-order or in-stock, the series as a separate line is done. I just want the carding for the LOTR figures in the DI sets to be the same LOTR carding.

I was so mad when i found out this line was cancelled. I wanted everyone BUT hardy, so i was just gonna get the whole set. But i went on spam.com and it said preorder arrives Late November. Now that November passed i looked again and it says its shipping January. Does anyone know if this is true?
