I met him on two occasions. He's a class act. Never rushes you along, actually listens to what you say. And (to my knowledge) he personalizes every autograph. On mine, he wrote "To my pal Grumpy- Stay out of jail. Terry Funk".
Very cool that you got to meet him!

I asked him to sing about Lucy (if you read his book, you know the song he made up about her). But he said he couldn't because there were too many kids there.

met him in 08. One of my heros. Very nice very respecting. He greets everyone with a smile and is willing to talk to them unlike a lot of others.

haha I think he tells most of the fans he meets to stay out of jail then the next time you see him you can tell him about how you've met him before and he'll say "you stayed out of jail!" funk rules what a down to earth guy.

I rember the first time I met Mr Funk,I was deeply honored to be in the presence of one of the true blood and guts warriors of my time.I have a FUNKER shirt covered in his blood fom the ole days in ECW......LONG LIVE THE FUNKER!
