WWE SmackDown: Friday 29th June 2007...Deuce beating Brian Major was nice, now if only we got to see the WWE Tag Team Championships actually involved on SmackDown itself. Batista's promo was nice, liked Mr Kennedy coming out, only complaint is that he was drafted to RAW earlier that month, actually. Kane beating Mark Henry is fine, no problem here. I believe Kane went out with injury at One Night Stand, though, so this is bizarre. Wow, Chavo Guerrero with a massive rub against Ric Flair, would have been fun as Chavo used to be able to use some offense before losing. Rey Mysterio back, bit early I think, but maybe not since he was obviously originally planned to return (Great American Bash poster). Matt Hardy and Batista beating MVP and Great Khali was an interesting first-hour main event. Very nice, actually. Mickie James beating Victoria is fine, why is this on SmackDown? It doesn't quite make sense. Should have been longer. Mr Kennedy's hatred of Edge is good, and him winning makes up for his previous Money in the Bank briefcase stolen from him. Kennedy was however a heel still, was drafted to RAW two weeks back, and also wasn't scheduled back until August or September. Overall, a weak short show. You could have thrown Deuce and Brian Major on the card really. Hell, use the ECW/SmackDown Talent Exchange! It fills the card out very well if you actually use it.
