I like the idea of this diary. I'm not a fan though of some of the wrestlers chosen. I think that if they were the ECW World Champion back when they had the ECW championship, they shouldn't be involved in this. That is just a minor issue though. Good matches and i hope that the Miz doesn't win this because he is the obvious choice.
Good luck with this.

April 6th, 2010 - Chicago, IL. LIVE on SyFy, WWE NXT! The NXT opening video package set to the official theme song, 'Let The Madness Begin' by Fozzy, opens up the second week of this unique competition, with this week's edition of NXT beaming into homes around the world live from the Windy City, Chicago! Michael Cole welcomes the WWE Universe to the show, hyping up the night's main event, an Intercontinental Championship match between John Morrison, and Drew McIntyre! However, before this, the opening match of the night begins.
The Hart Dynasty (w/ Bret Hart) def. The Legacy (w/ Dusty Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase) - A solid opening bout between the two tag teams of the show to open up the night here. The Hart Dynasty had some good crowd support against two of RAW's greatest young talents, DiBiase and Rhodes, who seemed to be struggling to function as a cohesive unit tonight, maybe because of the fight they had last week. In the end, the match slipped away from them, and the Hart Dynasty took the win after nailing The Hart Attack on DiBiase for the three.
After the contest, The Hart Dynasty celebrated the win with thier Mentor Bret Hart. Meanwhile in the ring, The Legacy argued, as thier fathers told them to calm down and get thier heads in the game, or they may risk elimination from the competition! The first commercial break of the night then begins.
> Commercial Break < Backstage, Zack Ryder is talking with his mentor, Dean Malenko. Malenko asked why Ryder picked him as his mentor, to which Ryder replied that he is just like him, though he doesn't know it. The Iceman can get it done in the ring, and then get the ladies afterwards, just like Iced Z. Malenko says 'Iced Z?!' to some laughs from the crowd, as the camera returns to the ring.
In the ring, Matt Striker is stood, saying that it's time for an interview on NXT, and as he says that, the theme of The Miz plays, the United States Champion making his way down to the ring. Striker asks Miz how he feels about last week on NXT, to which Miz replies last week was a fluke, and that 'a guy who can't afford to finish his haircut' will never beat The Miz again. Miz then says that tonight, he's the only man not scheduled to be in action, but next week, he'll be giving an open challenge that can be answered by any of the NXT competitors, and the challenge will be a shot at the United States Championship! The crowd pops, as Striker asks Miz why he's doing this, to which Miz replies that he needs to show everyone why he doesn't need a stupid mentor, and why he will be the winner of this competiton, and go on to win his first World Championship. Miz's theme then plays, as the interview ends, and the camera returns to the announce desk.
Michael Cole says that he has just heard that next week, the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger is planning to come to Tuesday nights, and make a 'State of the Championship' Address to all the NXT fans! A video package, highlighting Swagger's title win then plays, as a commercial break comes in.
> Commercial Break < NXT returns from the break with John B. Layfield on screen. Layfield says that he is back in the WWE for one reason only, to help a young man with all the potential in the world reach his dream of being a World Champion for just as long as the 'Wrestling God' was. He says that he is the reflection of perfection, and a former World Tag Team Champion, at which point Ziggler comes out, and tells JBL not to mention that bad time in his career again. JBL apologises, before saying next week when he's in action, all of the competitors better watch out, because there is no way his main man Dolph Ziggler is losing! At this point, the two of them look like they're about to share a beer, but Ron Simmons walks past with Kofi Kingston, looks at them, before shouting 'DAMN!' and walking off towards the entrance way.
Ezekiel Jackson & Zack Ryder (w/ Tony Atlas & Dean Malenko) def. Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston (w/ Ricky Steamboat & Ron Simmons) - A decent enough tag team match here featuring three great young, and very different, talents, as the Powerhouse Ezekiel Jackson and Cocky Zack Ryder teamed against the high-flying Bourne & Kingston. The two high flyers looked to be in control as they had Ryder pretty much beat, but neither man was a match for Ezekiel Jackson, who finished the match the same way he finished his match the week before, with a Book of Ezekiel to Evan Bourne to take the win.
Jackson had his arm raised by Atlas, before an over-excited Ryder came in and tried to celebrate with him, patting him on the back and slapping his chest, shouting his catchphrase at Bourne and Kingston as they were down. Jackson was enraged at the Long Island Lothario's actions, and soon after decided to plant him with the Book of Ezekiel as well, to the delight of the crowd. The Guayanese Goliath then walked away with Tony Atlas, a perfect record intact, as Dean Malenko shook his head at the fallen Zack Ryder, as the commentators hyped the Intercontinental Championship match after the break!
> Commercial Break < Intercontinetal Champion Drew McIntyre (w/ Roddy Piper) def. John Morrison (w/ Tito Santana) - A great main event to end the evening here, and for the Intercontinental Championship as well. Morrison and McIntyre had a solid back and forth battle here, with both men nearly taking the win at several points. The match looked to be over for McIntyre as Morrison was setting up for Starship Pain, but Roddy Piper attacked Tito Santana on the outside, distracting the 'Guru of Greatness', and allowing McIntyre to take the control, and quickly after the win, with the Future Shock DDT.
McIntyre quickly rolls out of the ring, and quickly backs up the ramp with Roddy Piper, Morrison watching on as he helps up his mentor, Tito Santana, who's holding his head from the shot he recieved courtesy of Piper. Piper shouts that he told Morrison he wasn't good enough last week, before shouting that McIntyre is the chosen one, the image of the two Scots at the top of the ramp closing out this week's NXT.WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT 2010 © LOG ON TO NXT.WWE.COM TO VOTE FOR WHO YOU WANT TO SEE ADVANCE IN THE COMPETITION NOW!

-Hart Dynasty look to be doing extremely well so far here, they could make a big run throughout this. -I love that Ryder got a win here, Kingston and Bourne looked like a more balanced team, surprised they didn't win. -I should've known with the Santana/Piper feud, a brawl would come. McIntyre winning was realistic here. -Good show again, can't wait to see the first elimination.
