WWF WrestleMania IX: The Beverly Brothers are superior to the Nasty Boys, so alright start with the pre-show match. I liked how the WrestleMania theme and intro remained the same. Was not expecting Tatanka to take the WWF Intercontinental Championship, mind you, it was hard to see which way this one would go, being that Tatanka's undefeated. Wondering how you cap off Tatanka's reign now in my head, could imagine the best way would be via injury. Hope Shawn Michaels wants a rematch. I gotta wonder if you're planning to do a WWF UK Rampage show this year. Doink the Clown and Marty Jannetty interested me little. It's a massive decline for Jannetty, who one month ago was facing the man in the match before this, Shawn Michaels for the IC title. And now he's jobbing to a clown. Dire move, should have moved this match up a bit to stop an outrageous comparison. Yokozuna beating Jim Duggan was predictable as hell. Jerry Lawler's invitational was nice, liked Owen Hart filling the spot and winning. Owen's now 2-0 at WrestleMania. Match should have gone shorter for more effect, really. Money Inc retaining the WWF Tag Team Championships was the best decision. Although now it makes the Steiner Brothers' road to this match pointless. Did like the cheap finish though, means we're going to have a rematch down the line. Luna Vachon debuting for this match? Meh. Bam Bam Bigelow was more fearless without her, especially against The Undertaker. So so happy you had Bigelow win and cut off 'Taker's streak before it had a chance to get kicked off. The match may have gone too long for my liking. Randy Savage beating Razor Ramon was a nice match, should have used a stipulation i.e. Falls Count Anywhere though. That match interested me more than Lex Luger and Mr Perfect. And this is where the cluster starts. You have the four main events on the card back to back; there's nine matches on the show, you should have spaced them out and served the other matches as filler. Seriously. Bret Hart retaining the WWF Championship from Ric Flair was expected, lovely show of wrestling here though. A decent WrestleMania, easily better than the real show which transpired. But the star ratings are pointless since you don't do them on television, it's a little ridiculous. Also some filler segments and promos in between matches would have done the show wonders.

I don't write out television programs so their is no point to do star ratings for matches with no detail, and that mostly consist of jobber matches to begin with. You may believe that the last four matches are "main event matches" but they really aren't. I don't see anything wrong with putting the best matches on near the end of the show. It's my booking philosophy to put the top matches on towards the end of the show.

Week 14: April 5th - 11th
WWF RAW 4/5/1993 (Manhattan, NY) 1. WWF Intercontinental Champion Tatanka defeated Fatu at 7:19 in a non-title match after a Samoan Drop. After the match, Tatanka is attacked by the Mountie who ran down to the ring through the crowd and zapped Tatanka with his cattle prod. Mountie zapped Tatanka a couple more times before escorted out of the ring by several officials. 2. Bret Hart/Bam-Bam Bigelow Confrontation: Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with WWF World Champion Bret Hart, who managed to defeat Ric Flair last night at WrestleMania IX. Hart thanks the fans for their support and puts over Flair as a good wrestler but says he proved to Flair and the world that he is the man! McMahon wonders what is next for Bret Hart, but before Hart can respond Bam-Bam Bigelow’s music hits. Bigelow makes his way out, with Undertaker’s urn but without Luna Vachon. Bigelow quickly chimes in and believes that McMahon should be interviewing him instead of Bret Hart. Bigelow hypes himself up and talks about being the guy to finally end the Deadman’s run in the WWF. “All Bret Hart did was beat up a dinosaur.” Bigelow believes that Hart wouldn’t be able to beat a powerful beast like himself. Bigelow says he has beaten one of the fans heroes (Taker), and he wants to beat their top hero, Bret Hart. Hart tells Bigelow that he is a fighting champion and that he would be more than happy to put Bigelow in his place sometime in the near future! Bigelow has a stare down with Hart before backing off and leaving with a grin. Hart poses for the fans to close out the segment. 3. Rick Martel defeated Jim Powers in 4:05 with the Boston Crab. 4. Lex Luger Interview: Jim Ross conducted an in-ring interview with Lex Luger. Luger has every reason to brag to the fans as he defeated Mr. Perfect last night. Luger starts off by telling Ross and the fans that he did exactly what he said he was going to do and that was prove that Mr. Perfect is a choke artist. Luger seven goes far to say that Mr. Perfect is not the appropriate name for Mr. Perfect. Luger will now refer to Mr. Perfect as “Mr. Imperfection”. Luger turns his attention to the WWF World Championship held by Bret Hart. Since Luger has a tendency of doing what he says, Luger proceeds to proclaim that he will win the WWF World Championship by the end of 1993. Luger leaves the ring signaling that the WWF World Championship will be coming around his waist in due time. 5. Kamala defeated Barry Horowitz in 1:56 following a big splash. 6. Razor Ramon defeated Doug White in 1:26 following the Razors Edge. During the bout, pre-tape comments by Ramon are shown. Ramon states that while Randy Savage may have won the battle last night, the war is far from being over!
WWF House Show 4/8/1993 (Paris, France 7,000) 1. Owen Hart defeated Rick Martel 2. The Headshrinkers defeated the Nasty Boys 3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Tatanka defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the title. 4. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Earthquake 5. The Beverly Brothers defeated Big Bossman/Virgil 6. Lex Luger defeated Mr. Perfect 7. WWF World Champion Bret Hart defeated Ric Flair to retain the title.
WWF House Show 4/9/1993 (Bournemouth, England 6,200) 1. WWF Intercontinental Champion Tatanka defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the title 2. Yokozuna defeated Jim Duggan 3. Doink the Clown defeated Marty Jannetty 4. Steiner Brothers defeated WWF World Tag Team Champions Money Inc. in a non-title match 5. Jerry Lawler defeated Owen Hart 6. Razor Ramon defeated Randy Savage in a falls count anywhere match 7. WWF World Champion Bret Hart defeated Ric Flair to retain the title.
WWF Superstars 4/10/1993 1. Ted DiBiase defeated Jerry Saggs in 6:09 with the Million Dollar Dream. During the bout, the Steiner Brothers shared some pre-tape comments. Scott Steiner says that he and his brother Rick were robbed at WrestleMania IX. Scott assures the fans that they will work hard to get another shot at Money Inc. and win what is rightfully theirs the WWF World Tag Team Championships! 2. Jeff Jarrett Vignette: A video of a self proclaimed country music star by the name of “Double J” Jeff Jarrett is aired. Jarrett is walking the streets of Nashville saying that he is looking for a new challenge after achieving all that he wanted to achieve as a country star. Jarrett lists a few names of wrestlers that he compares himself to as being Bret Hart, the Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Randy Savage. Jarrett believes his going to become a WWF Legend. “You will all see just how great Jeff Jarrett really is!” 3. Shawn Michaels defeated Louie Spicolli in 1:22 following a super kick. 4. Kings Court w/Owen Hart: Jerry Lawler conducted the first edition of Kings Court by ripping on the fans and explaining his lost at WrestleMania. Lawler claims that he didn’t have any time to prepare for his opponent. Lawler doesn’t mention that he had issued a open challenge and that was bound to happen. Lawler ends up introducing his first guest, Owen Hart. Owen comes down to the ring and is greeted with a nice ovation from the fans. Lawler asks Owen just who he is because Lawler claims to not have any idea. Once told, Lawler says that Owen is “that other Hart brother that no one cares about.” Owen clearly didn’t appreciate that comment. Owen grabs the microphone and says that he should have a interview segment after he pinned Lawler one, two, three in the middle of the ring. Owen doesn’t consider Lawler to be a King and would say that Lawler is a Queen but that is a insult to all the Queens out there! Lawler gets another microphone and begins to speak insulting Owen every way he knows how to. Eventually, Lawler distracts Owen long enough for Rick Martel to roll into the ring and chop block Owen’s knee. Martel locks in the Boston Crab while Lawler gets down on the mat and yells in Owen’s face before several agents and referees run down to end the beating. 5. Crush defeated Mike Bell in 0:54 with the Kona Vice. During the bout, pre-tape comments by Crush are shown. Crush makes it clear that he is coming after Yokozuna. 6. Randy Savage defeated Beau Beverly in 5:38 following a top rope elbow drop.
WWF Wrestling Challenge 4/11/1993 1. The Natural Disasters defeated Chris Kanyon/Barry Hardy in 2:37 when Earthquake pinned Hardy following a splash. 2. Shawn Michaels Interview: Mean Gene conducted a interview with former WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels. Michaels isn’t happy about being called a former Intercontinental Champion and blames the heat and humidity in Las Vegas as his reason for losing. Michaels tells Gene that he has a “big surprise” for Tatanka and has a plan to regain his WWF Intercontinental Championship. Michaels wants Tatanka to enjoy his title reign because it will be coming to an end very soon. 3. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated PJ Walker in 1:55 following a top rope diving head butt. During the bout, pre-tape comments from Paul Bearer were shown. Bearer reveals that the Undertaker has gone missing since WrestleMania. Apparently, Taker disappeared after officials turned their back trying to get proper equipment to help control Taker's burns. Bearer still believes that the Undertaker will comeback and extract revenge on Bigelow! 4. Money Inc. Interview: Jim Ross conducted a interview with the WWF World Tag Team Champions, Money Inc. DiBiase told everyone that they would use their intelligence to defeat the powerful Steiner Brothers. Ross points out that what they did was cheating. IRS responds by saying “what we did was not cheating. We used what was available to us.” Ross doesn’t agree with that logic but continues the interview. DiBiase points out that they do not have any worthy opponents and believe that they don’t need to defend the championships. DiBiase believes that they will now be the WWF World Tag Team Champions forever! DiBiase and IRS laugh to end the segment, believing that everything is going perfectly for them. 5. Big Bossman defeated Mike Bucci in 1:46 following a side slam. 6. Ric Flair defeated Mark Starr in 1:03 with the figure four. During the bout, pre-tape comments by Mr. Perfect were aired. Perfect is looking to get revenge on Flair for robbing him of his chance to wrestle for the WWF World Championship. “Watch your back, Nature Boy. You will never know when I will show up.”

NOTE FROM BOB: I decided against writing out UK Rampage '93 in any detail because the show only occurred in the UK. I prefer to write out shows that were shown everywhere, ya know?

WWF Week 14: Television...Are we seeing Fatu go solo or something? I hope the Headshrinkers are future WWF Tag Team Champions, I enjoy them a lot. Tatanka with the win was nice to show off himself as new WWF Intercontinental Champion. The Mountie attacking Tatanka may have been a little too soon for me though. Bret Hart already having a rival in Bam Bam Bigelow is great, wondering how you manage to stretch this feud out longer than the space between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania IX, though. Rick Martel I hope ends up feuding Tatanka down the line. He was championship material. Randy Savage and Razor Ramon's rivalry not over? Meh, alright I guess. Decent episode of RAW. Ted Dibiase beating Jerry Saggs is a fine opener to Superstars of Wrestling. Expecting the Steiner Brothers to face Money Inc at King of the Ring. I am exciting to see Jeff Jarrett debuting, I must say. Jerry Lawler now starting a feud with Jerry Lawler amuses me, nice involvement from Rick Martel there. Randy Savage beating Beau Beverly: again, tag teams in singles action this week, odd. Onto Wrestling Challenge, the Natural Disasters hopefully get further this time around. Shawn Michaels' promo was great, looking forward to him getting a rematch against Tatanka. Love all of these challenges Tatanka has riding on him. Money Inc's interview was nice, just self promotion. I want to know how long Ric Flair will last in the WWF. Mr Perfect feuding him again can be cool I suppose. Nice week in television, new ideas.
WWF Week 14: Live Events...Again, wonder how long Ric Flair will be around. The 4/8 show was nicely done though, everything seemed ideal, but Bam Bam Bigelow and Earthquake would be an awkward match I'd imagine. The 4/9 show was impressive to the UK audience, lovely to see Razor Ramon beating Randy Savage in a falls count anywhere match. I see the Steiner Brothers beating Money Inc in a non-title match; that surely may put fans off. The 4/8 show was better.
WWF UK Rampage 93': Saturday 10th April 1993...11/4 was a Sunday, and RAW the next day in the States, that would be pretty awkward. Decent idea to have it still in listed results. Max Moon is an interesting character that could become something, but that was a weak opening contest, Moon beating Repo Man is ideal. Crush destroying the Brooklyn Brawler would have been fun. The Beverly Brothers beating the Nasty Boys is fine, decent bout. Marty Jannetty beating Fatu is a shame, Fatu should have had the win there. Again, no Headshrinkers? Jim Duggan needs to go away, Yokozuna's not going to stop beating him. Lastly, the elimination tag team match was weird, but a great bout. Overall, an entertaining show I'd say.

I really love the Bigelow/Hart encounters and seeming Bigelow push – that is a fresh idea. I am surprised to still see Hart/Flair wrestling on house shows and I wonder if this is an indication that their feud will continue. Rick Martel attacking Hart is interesting and I am interested to see where his feud with Lawler pans out to. I wouldn’t mind seeing Michaels win back the IC championship soon because I am not much of a Tatanka fan. I am fascinated as to what exactly will happen with the Undertaker. Bam-Bam Bigelow/Lex Luger/Razor Ramon defeatingBret Hart/Mr. Perfect/Randy Savage was the highlight of the pay-per-view.

Lawler brings up how the winner of the tournament will get a WWF World Championship shot at SummerSlam. Luger mentions how he promised that he will be the WWF World Championship by the end of the year and repeats that he will be. Luger knows that he is unbeatable and doesn’t care who the champion may be by SummerSlam but Luger knows it is only a matter of time until he is the WWF World Champion. Mr. Perfect Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Mr. Perfect. McMahon brings up how Perfect has made it clear that his focus is on Ric Flair and getting revenge. Perfect wasn’t even given the opportunity because Flair couldn’t wrestle like the man he claims to be and had to use brass knuckles. Perfect knows that Flair wants to end Perfect and Perfect wants to end Flair. Perfect tells Ross that considering they both want to end each other; they should have a contest where the loser must leave the WWF forever! Ross ends the interview segment hyping up whether or not Ric Flair will accept the challenge! 5. The Headshrinkers defeated Jim Powers/Louie Spicolli in 1:37 when Fatu pinned Powers following a big splash off the top rope. During the bout, the Nasty Boys shared some pre-tape comments. The Nasty’s know that they are the baddest and toughest tag team in the WWF and they will prove that by kicking the Headshrinkers butts! 6. WWF Superstars 4/17/1993 1. Terry Taylor defeated Barry Horowitz in 2:54 following a sit out gut wrench power bomb. 2. Crush Video: A video of Crush walking on a beach is shown. Crush talks about how someone needs to step up and take on Yokozuna since “America’s hero Jim Duggan has been brutally beaten”. Crush says he is the man to take Yokozuna out and send him back to Japan. Crush proceeds to grab a coconut and smashes the coconut while saying that he will crush Yokozuna! 3. Big Bossman defeated Mike Sharpe in 1:15 following a side walk slam. 4. Steiner Brothers Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with the Steiner Brothers regarding their future plans. Scott maintains his belief that if it weren’t for the illegal use of a briefcase that the Steiner Brothers would be holding the WWF World Tag Team Championships. Scott calls Money Inc. “cowards” and that they will stop at nothing until they get another shot at Money Inc. Rick chimes in and suggests that they should get a match with Money Inc. under a no disqualification stipulation. The fans like the sound of that. Scott Steiner finishes off the interview by saying that they are going to plead their case to Jack Tunney and demand that they get a shot at Money Inc.! 5. Bam-Bam Bigelow defeated Joey Maggs in 0:34 following a flying head butt. During the bout, Paul Bearer shares some pre-tape comments. Jarrett is focusing on all the major talents in the WWF because he knows he is an elite superstar! 3. WWF World Champion Bret Hart defeated Barry Hardy in 1:46 with the Sharpshooter. During the bout, Bret Hart had some pre-tape comments regarding Bam-Bam Bigelow. Hart puts over Bigelow’s size but Hart isn’t intimidated by Bigelow. Randy Savage Interview: Jim Ross conducted an interview with Randy Savage. Ross mentions that Razor Ramon has said that he isn’t done with Randy Savage. Savage doesn’t mind Ramon wanting more because Savage is confident that he can beat Ramon several more times! Savage knows that the only way he can earn a title shot is to win the tournament and he is going to do just that. I really like Flair advancing in the King of the Ring tournament. I actually really liked Luger’s promo, it just suits him well. I am really interested in possibly seeing your take on Perfect/Flair Loser Leaves Raw. I am unsure about how I like Crush being taken out by Yokozuna. Ramon defeating Savage in a cage match on the house show is rather surprising. I am really interested to see how Crush may take out Yokozuna. I love the idea of having the no disqualification tag title match. I am really excited to see how Taker will extract vengeance on Bigelow. Savage’s promo really excites me for his possible cage match with Ramon.
Really surprised how long it will take before Taker is back. I am surprised you are push his return already than.

WWF Week 15: Television...Ric Flair beating Max Moon was amusing, it's a little too early for the King of the Ring tournament though, I personally feel. Flair in the King of the Rign isn't too good, though. I would have rather he had left after WrestleMania IX. Lex Luger on the King's Court was nice, a decent promo and I like the idea of Luger wanting the WWF Championship immediately. I feel Luger would be worthy of a 1993 King of the Ring winner. Marty Jannetty's win was alright I suppose. Mr Perfect's promo was nice, guess we can expect Perfect face Ric Flair at the King of the Ring. Could be a good match, I wonder how much longer Flair will be around, though. The Headshrinkers with the win was nice, they deserve a title reign in the very near future in my mind. Razor Ramon beating Crush is a nice main event, liked Yokozuna attacking Crush causing the count-out. RAW was pretty eventful as a whole. Onto Superstars of Wrestling, I hope we can see some decent things from Terry Taylor now. Crush's vignette was alright, didn't do too much to hype the feud with Yokozuna, though. The Steiner Brothers' interview was nice. This episode of Superstars of Wrestling was dire, not a match more than three minutes. Not much happened, Tatanka will probably defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against The Mountie. The Wrestling Challenge, Doink the Clown hopefully isn't built too much. Jeff Jarrett vignettes are more acceptable. Like Bret Hart's respectable talking about Bam Bam Bigelow. Randy Savage's interview was good, hope Savage isn't involved in the finals, though. The Beverly Brothers beating the Bushwackers pleases me. Yokozuna and Kamala had a decent match, liked the finish. Too much emphasis on the Yoko/Crush feud this week, it's gonna wear out quickly if this goes on. RAW was the better show.
WWF Week 15: Live Events...The show in Newcastle seemed pretty solid, retaining the method of WrestleMania IX build matches, which is acceptable in this time period. Shawn Michaels getting a rematch is definitely a must with Tatanka as WWF Intercontinental Champion. Liked the steel cage match between Razor Ramon and Randy Savage on the London show, but it probably would have still main evented. All shows were almost identical, decent week of live events.
WWF News: A bit early for the buyrate to be released for WrestleMania IX I think. At least the first round of the King of the Ring tournament is only happening every week on RAW. Stretches nicely. I hope the Nasty Boys don't go heel again. They just really turned face. The Natural Disasters would be amazing heels to oppose the Steiner Brothers when they become WWF Tag Team Champions. Jim Duggan being ran out of the WWF in kayfabe by Yokozuna is great, build on mentioning that. Happy that Papa Shango, Skinner and the Bushwackers are all gone. Yay, Scott Norton's been signed. Adam Bomb's a good addition. The Smoking Gunns arriving is great, looking forward to how they are built. Mabel coming in should be good, hopefully not as a rapper.

Week 16: April 19th - 25th
WWF RAW 4/19/1993 (Manhattan, NY) 1. Randy Savage defeated Repo Man in 4:13 to advance to the second round in the 1993 King of the Ring. 2. Kings Court w/Ric Flair: Jerry Lawler interviewed “the greatest WWF World Champion” Ric Flair on this weeks edition of Kings Court. Lawler brings up Mr. Perfect and how Perfect has made it clear that he wants to fight Flair one more time. Flair laughs off the challenge by telling Lawler that he has nothing to gain from beating Perfect, again. Flair heavily puts himself over as the greatest athlete in professional wrestling while Perfect is layer of dog crap on the bottom of his $800 shoes. Flair makes it clear that he “has moved on from that piece of scum” and is focused on the King of the Ring tournament. Flair talks about how Bret Hart is just a “flash in the pan” and that Hart got lucky at WrestleMania IX. Flair makes it clear that he will not settle for being number two in the WWF. Flair is the man and will not stop until the WWF World Championship is back around his waist! WOOOO! 3. Shawn Michaels defeated Russ Greenberg in 1:06 following a super kick. The fans erupted at the announcement while Money Inc. flipped out! 2. Yokozuna Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji and their new American consultant Jim Cornette! McMahon asked what Cornette was doing here in the WWF. Cornette believes that because Yokozuna hasn’t had an American associate he hasn’t been able to get proper matches with the “big names” in the WWF. Cornette is going to make sure that Yokozuna gets his shot at the WWF World Championship. McMahon brings up Crush’s challenge for a match against Yokozuna. Cornette points out that the last time someone challenged by Yoko, their career was over. “Do you remember Jim Duggan? Whatever happen to that guy? He lost to Yokozuna and went home like the scared little boy that he truly is. He clearly wasn’t tough enough to compete here in the World Wrestling Federation. WWF Week 16: Television....WWF RAW; Randy Savage beating Repo Man was obvious, still wish that Savage was not in the King of the Ring tournament though. He's already been "Macho King", enough is enough. Nice episode of the King's Court, hope that Ric Flair doesn't get a rematch with Bret Hart for the WWF Championship though. Shawn Michaels' surprise I can imagine is Diesel, really. Looking forward to Tatanka facing Shawn again, can imagine it'll be an episode of RAW. Like the Headshrinkers and the Nasty Boys finally doing something at last, interesting brawl. Bam Bam Bigelow's attack on Bret Hart will definitely set up a WWF Championship match down the line. Wouldn't bother me if Flair and Bigelow were revealed to be in cohoots. WWF Superstars of Wrestling; Nice to see solo action with Scott Steiner and Irwin R. Schyster. Yokozuna and Mr Fuji joined by Jim Cornette is in fact for the better, nice promo on Crush. Rick Martel talking about Owen Hart is nice. I wonder if any other Hart Brothers will appear; would go great against Jerry Lawler and Martel. On Wrestling Challenge; Jeff Jarrett's debut should be good. Owen Hart's interview was nice. Overall, it was an alright week, but nothing special in the ring. Barely anything to note.

Bret Hart Interview: Vince McMahon conducted an interview with WWF World Champion Bret Hart. McMahon brings up Hart’s conflicts with Bam-Bam Bigelow in recent weeks. Hart knows that Bigelow is a tough big guy, but that doesn’t mean that Hart can’t beat him. Hart is completely aware of what Bigelow did to the Undertaker at WrestleMania IX, but notes that Bigelow had to use fire. Hart says that nothing can keep him down and that no matter what Bigelow does, Hart will fight back with everything he has. McMahon notes that Hart will be teaming with the Steiner Brothers to compete against Bam-Bam Bigelow and the WWF World Tag Team Champions Money Inc. at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 15th. DiBiase believes that with the rules now thrown out the window, that they will end the careers of the Steiner Brothers! 5. Mr. Perfect defeated Repo Man in 3:06 following the Perfect Plex. WWF Week 17: RAW...The Headshrinkers with a win is good, happy to see it and we have a mini feud with the Nasty Boys which wll be nice. I like how they used trash cans, very original weapon I must say. Bret Hart's interview was well done, looking forward to this six-man tag team match at Saturday Night's Main Event, expecting Hart to face Bam Bam Bigelow for the WWF Championship at King of the Ring now. Crush with a quick win I love. He needs a big push, the dude was WWF Intercontinental Championship material. The Mountie's promo was nice, he isn't beating Tatanka, though. Razor Ramon's promo was nice on King's Court, I am looking forward to him on the road to the WWF Championship. I see him now potentially going to win King of the Ring now. Shawn Michaels with the win did little than involve him. Owen Hart advancing into the King of the Ring is better, Doink the Clown can do other things. A decent episode of RAW, things are moving pretty nicely.
WWF Week 17: Superstars of Wrestling...Wow, welcome to May. Almost half a year into this, I could see this getting to 1995 at the earliest. If you keep working at this. Lex Luger's interview was nice, like how everybody is having a say about the King of the Ring tournament. Jeff Jarrett's debut I can't wait for. I see him as a big primetime player going into 1994, to be honest. Bret Hart beating Irwin R. Schyster is good, can imagine a lot of chemistry there. Bam Bam Bigelow suddenly attacking could have done without, but it advanced the six man rivalry we have going on. Not bad.
WWF Week 17: Wrestling Challenge...Randy Savage's promo was nice, but just a rhetorical question to see if Randy Savage could hold the WWF Championship one more time. I just can't really see him having another reign and it being necessary. Money Inc's promo was great, looking forward to what we have at King of the Ring: no disqualification match for the WWF Tag Team Championships? Now appropriate for the Steiner Brothers to win the titles. Nothing else to note, it was an acceptable episode.

Lawler had two topics to discuss with Crush. The first being Crush’s recent desire to fight off Yokozuna and prove that the USA is stronger and better than Japan. Crush tells Lawler that his friend Jim Duggan was taken out of the WWF by Yokozuna and that doesn’t sit well with him. Crush can see in the back that everyone is afraid to step up and fight Yokozuna. However, Crush isn’t afraid. Crush warns Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette that he will be the guy to put Yokozuna in his place. Lawler brings up the King of the Ring tournament, which Crush will be participating in. Crush believes with his size and power he can beat anyone in the tournament. Michaels knows that the fans are heartbroken that he doesn’t have the championship since being robbed at Wrestle Mania, but for his millions upon millions of fans, Michaels assures them that he has a big surprise for Tatanka or the Mountie for the King of the Ring. Yes, Shawn Michaels has issued a challenge to the winner of the Tatanka/Mountie match to a match at the KOTR. Michaels finishes off by saying he will reclaim his throne as the WWF Intercontinental Champion! 3. Jerry Lawler defeated the Kamikaze Kid in 1:19 following a pile driver. During the bout, Lawler declared that he was in the King of the Ring and that he will add another crown to his collection. 4. Nasty Boys Interview: Vince McMahon interviewed the “toughest tag team in the WWF”, the Nasty Boys. Knobs slobbers while telling McMahon that anyone thinking that the Headshrinkers are the toughest guys in the WWF are going to be paying a visit to Pity City. Knobs says that he and Saggs are the definition of tough and that the Headshrinkers are just delusional. Saggs chimes in by saying that when they meet the Headshrinkers in the ring, it won’t last long because they are going to bring to the streets and show the Headshrinkers that they are the toughest tag in the WWF! 5. Martel put Owen in the Boston Crab until officials pulled Martel off of Owen. 2. Yokozuna Interview: Jim Ross interviewed Jim Cornette, with Yokozuna by his side. Cornette tells Ross that Crush doesn’t know what he has gotten himself into. 3. Shawn Michaels defeated George South in 1:43 following a super kick. 4. Razor Ramon Interview: A quick pre-tape interview with Razor Ramon was aired. After the match, the Headshrinkers tried to get in the ring but several jobbers and officials prevented any kind of brawl from happening! 6. WWF Week 18: RAW...Nice to see Jim Neidhart back in action on RAW, nice win against the Repo Man, although Repo's gimmick is sort've past it now unless you manage to refreshen it. Mr Perfect's promo was basic and advanced his feud with Ric Flair. Not too fond of the idea of another Saturday Night's Main Event match with Flair, wish they could actually make a pay-per-view. The Mountie won't be winning the WWF Intercontinental Championship I don't think. Basic win for the Steiner Brothers, I feel that Rick and Scott will be winning the WWF Tag Team Championships at King of the Ring. I liked the King's Court promo with Crush and Yokozuna. Jeff Jarrett's debut shall be entertaining. Lex Luger advancing into the King of the Ring tournament was obvious, can see 1993 being Luger's year, wouldn't mind him winning the tournament. An alright episode of RAW.
WWF Week 18: Superstars of Wrestling...The Beverly Brothers I would like to see a slight change in personality. Didn't like their personas in real life. Shawn Michaels' challenge is nice, but it made it extremely obvious that HBK will be facing Tatanka at King of the Ring and The Mountie is losing. Should have really saved this promo for after Saturday Night's Main Event, would have saved Mountie's credibility. Jerry Lawler beating Kamikaze Kid: wonder when Kamikaze Kid will be getting credible as 123 Kid. The Nasty Boys' promo was nice, but they're starting to become unfitting in the WWF now. Wonder when the Smoking Gunns are debuting, they were a good team. Good main event with Bam Bam Bigelow beating Marty Jannetty and an eventful six-man tag team set up for SNME next Saturday. A decent episode of Superstars.
WWF Week 18: Wrestling Challenge...Owen Hart beating Jim Powers was nice, didn't understand Doink the Clown's appearance at all, nice to see Rick Martel attack Owen though. Yokozuna's promo was nice. Razor Ramon's promo was good, nice set up for the winning the WWF Championship destiny. Ric Flair beating Virgil was obvious. Overall, fair episode of Wrestling Challenge. Nothing too much happening this week on the show.

Probably the best format for shows I've ever seen. You are just quick and to the point with enough detail to keep people interested man. I really hope you keep this for as long as you say you will, because it will be interesting where you take the company. Like I said, this is going strong and I am expecting more from you bro!

Let me add in that I also really, really love your format here, especially with the house shows and following the real WWF schedule. I'd probably get a migraine even trying it.
Alright.. I really like Neidhart being back, although I've always found he works better in a team rather than in singles work, but hopefully you've got a good angle planned for him. I also really, really like how you build every single week around the King of the Ring. It really adds something to these shows. You have a good mix of squashes and higher profile stuff on RAW, and it feels about right. I really want to see where you go with Bret/Bigelow and Perfect/Flair. There's no doubting you have one of the best diaries going here. You clearly have an idea where you're going, what you're building to, and that's something that sometimes diaries lack.

WWF RAW: Monday 10th May 1993...Tatanka beating Repo Man was likely, still extremely unconvincing of the Mountie to defeat Tatanka to claim the WWF Intercontinental Championship, in fact Mountie probably doesn't have anything for him to do following Saturday Night's Main Event. Unless you form the Quebecers. Good promo with Bam Bam Bigelow and Money Inc, basically promoting this Saturday's six-man tag team match. I do like Bam Bam's build. Yokozuna with the win was predictable. Jeff Jarrett's debut should be good. Randy Savage's interview was good, doubt he will win the King of the Ring tournament though. He's been King before. Razor Ramon beating Marty Jannetty was likely, Ramon is a top contender to win the King of the Ring to me. Decent episode.
WWF Superstars of Wrestling: Saturday 15th May 1993...Note to the live events, if it was a steel cage match, I'm still 99% certain that it would either open the show or close it, as back here they didn't levitate the cages above the ring and it took some time to set it up and down. Anyways, solid win for Mr Perfect against Doink the Clown, definitely. Lex Luger's promo was good, also think Luger's a top contender to win the King of the Ring tournament. Randy Savage beating Barry Horowitz was expected. Bret Hart and the Steiner Brothers getting promo time was needed to even up against Money Inc and Bam Bam Bigelow. Other than this, nothing noteable on the show. Everything seemed acceptable.
WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: Saturday 15th May 1993...The Headshrinkers beating the Nasty Boys is good, but hope that Fatu and Samu get a push soon. Shawn Michaels back to beating Marty Jannetty? I wonder when Diesel will debut. Owen Hart beating Rick Martel is fine, not bad at all. Randy Savage beating Razor Ramon is good. Again with SNME's format, the show would start with a big match and then close with an uppercard match. Jeff Jarrett's debut would have been a weak opening contest, really. Fine win for Jarrett against Koko B. Ware, I'm looking forward to what Jarrett will bring to the WWF table. Tatanka's interview was fine, and obvious WWF Intercontinental Championship defense by Tatanka against the Mountie. Nothing too special really. Crush beating Yokozuna was a surprise, did like it but the submission victory was a bit redeeming for Yokozuna's character. Lastly, hot tag team main event with Bam Bam Bigelow surprisingly beating Bret Hart to secure a WWF Championship shot at King of the Ring. Overall, pretty weak episode of SNME, it would have been better if the order had been realistic. The six-man tag team match should have started, followed by the IC title and Jarrett debut, and then Crush/Yoko.
WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 16th May 1993...Liked Jerry Lawler's promo about the King of the Ring tournament following his match with Mark Starr. I wonder if Rick Martel and Owen Hart's feud will ever end, it's technically been going sine February. RAW would be the best place for their feud to end, in all seriousness. Don't let it make pay-per-view at King of the Ring, it just wouldn't fit. Maybe SummerSlam, but that's a while away. Owen Hart should always play the underdog; in this, him and Steve King should have had a longer match. Most of these matches with enhancement talent last about a minute, sometimes the enhancement talent would actually have some offense. Kamala with the win is nice, but doubt this is really going to mean he's going anywhere in the WWF. He's not got anybody to really feud with. Lex Luger beating Jim Neidhart is fine, good win for Luger but Neidhart jobbing in this situation so soon after returning is unfortunate. A decent episode.

Again with SNME's format, the show would start with a big match and then close with an uppercard match. In from 1985-1991 that would be the case. By 1992, the shows ended with bigger matches and not lousy mid-card matches. It's not unrealistic to have the format the way it currently is and will be in the future.
