Having been very disappointed with O.M.I.T. and being marginally impressed with Origin of the Species around the third issue, I decided to pick up the first issues of Big Time. Having received one off Amazon and one at a shop in the same day, i read them in one sitting. I was blown away by how good it was! It was so good to see Peter not getting the crap end of the stick. The scene with Mary Jane when he was looking for a place to stay was hilarious. The only thing I didn't like was the whole business between Phil Urich and Roderick Kingsley. It happened too quickly (if you've read it, you know what I'm talking about). All in all, i'm very excited for whats to come in this storyline. Looking forward to the new costume, and if Jameson really does present the key to Spiderman. Anyone else reading it?

I read the first issue was really unimpressed by it and then I dropped the series.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I love the various threads they set up in the first issue, laying out plotlines for months, if not years to come. I'm shocked at how violent the second issue was. I'm also surprised at how much I enjoy the art since I didn't like Ramos in New X-Men during Messiah Complex. But it just works here for whatever reason.
I was also really happy to see Aunt May to get a heartfelt moment that we rarely get to see out of her.

The last issue was really fun, which is something I haven't felt about this series in a long time.
