WWE Royal Rumble: Sunday 30th January 2011...Slightly weak opening contest that should have had a minorly bigger match open the show, but nonetheless a good match with Kaval serving a good bumper for Cody Rhodes to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and this decision pleased me. Dolph Ziggler's had a good run but his time was up, and Kaval just isn't ready for the title. Natalya beating Melina was expected, nonetheless, a credible WWE Divas Championship here that served as a filler match. Edge winning the fatal four-way match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship seemed likely; Kane's done as far as title reigns are concerned, Big Show in my mind was never worthy enough, and Alberto Del Rio isn't quite ready. John Cena beating Wade Barrett was a good feud ender, looking forward to a Barrett push on SmackDown. I'd have put Cena and Barrett on last before the Royal Rumble if honest, or the World title match. The Miz and John Morrison is a little bit weak to main event the title matches for the night. Miz was obviously going to retain the WWE Championship too, making matters a bit more abysmal. Sheamus' appearance was interesting. Nothing special about the main event to be honest, the Royal Rumble match was sorely lost in star power with most of the main eventers used in big undercard matches (take note for future Rumble shows you have), and Jack Swagger winning is a good rub, but pathetic after the abysmal depush he had in 2010. It's too late, I just don't see him as a good threat, and he's probably going to face Edge. Sorry but, I'm not quite looking forward to the road to WrestleMania XXVII at this stage. A decent undercard, maybe a little too stacked, but the main event could have been chosen more wisely. The big news is Triple H returned, and is feuding with Sheamus, but I don't see why Cena and Barrett eliminated each other after their feud ending encounter.

-Pumped for this. A solid start to the PPV, was expecting a major title to make the night look huge. Nice mid-card, it's packed. Rhodes winning the Intercontinental Championship is good. -Edge retaining sounds pretty good. I wonder if Christian returns tonight to set up the match at WM. -Cena going over Barrett is the best call here, I hope that now Cena can go on to better things. -Miz winning was expected, though I would've been happy seeing JoMo win the gold right there. -Swagger winning was shocking. Swagger/Edge at Mania, I don't know....you'll have to build Swagger higher to convince me. -Solid PPV.

WWE Royal Rumble
Alright, I've been looking forward to this. Cody Rhodes winning the title is great and I loved how he pulled the fast one on Kaval. Doubt Cena could say "Cancer" in a modern day WWE show. That's a hot pic of Melina, just saying. Natalya retaining was the best move imo. I could see her holding the title till or even after Wrestlemania. EC at the minimum, in my eyes. Nice to see Edge retain his World Heavyweight Championship. I purpose pinning Kane would have been the best choice as you want to keep Del Rio looking strong for which ever feud he is going into during the Road to Wrestlemania. Nice to see you've actually done a good job of building the John Morrison and The Miz feud unlike the WWE did. Really, their blow off match opened up a random episode of Raw. nice to see you actually gave them decent air time on a pay per view event. Glad to see Wade moving to Smackdown, Cena is a much better fit on Raw. I guess this is the end of The Nexus now, as without Justin and Wade it's pretty weak. Good ending to the WWE Championship match. It doesn't hurt Morrison and gets Miz even more as a heel, so this match accomplished a lot booking wise. Nice job. Woo, Royal Rumble time! Del Rio and Orton starting off the Rumble match is interesting, no doubt about that. Awesome shockers with Booker T, Diesel, and Triple H! Triple H/Sheamus at Mania again? Del Rio making it so long into the match is awesome. Oh yeah, Christian! I could see them facing off at Mania for sure. Swagger winning is sure a damn shocker. I'm a big fan of the kid. I think if you make him more serious over the next two months you could make look like a huge threat for Edge's World Heavyweight Championship. You know, I could see it being Edge/Swagger/Del Rio/Christian at Mania. That would be much more better than just simply Edge/Swagger, which still would be good to me. Good show and you have an interesting Road to Wrestlemania from here.

- Good start to the PPV. Would've preferred Dolph winning but hopefully, Ziggler moves up to the World title picture, now.
- Kinda thought Natalya was going to win. Nothing too big here.
- Expected Edge to win. I would have been happy if Show won, though.
- Cena winning is fine. Barrett on SD could be really good.
- Glad The Miz won. Hope he holds it until Mania.
- Alright, Rumble time. I honestly have no idea who's going to win.
- Holy sh*t! Did not see that coming. Can't wait to see where you take it from here.
Overall, another great show! Really like your format.

Royal Rumble, love that Cody Rhodes is the new Intercontinental Champion, and I hope to see him pushed far in the future. Pleased to see Natalya retain the Divas Championship as I don't really see Melina as a Champion anymore. I'm glad Edge retained the World Heavyweight Championship here, and I hope to see him keep it until WrestleMania. I was shocked to see John Cena win, tbh, but I suppose it is better to keep him on Raw. I wonder what will happen to The Nexus with it's leader gone? The Miz retaining the WWE Championship is the right call, and like Edge, I hope to see him make it to WrestleMania as Champion. Cutting right to the chase, Jack Swagger as the Royal Rumble winner is immense for me, I think this is the break he has been waiting for his entire career and he certainly deserves it, so nice job on that. I suspect it will be Jack Swagger facing Edge at WrestleMania, which sounds pretty good to me. Overall, a fantastic write up, very good job.

- The decision to have Jack Swagger win the Royal Rumble was made before the new year, and was the primary reason behind his recent push on SmackDown. Swagger is well liked backstage and is considered one of the best young stars on the WWE roster. Alongside The Miz the WWE have plans for him to be the backbone of the main event scene in the coming years. - Many were highly impressed by the quality of the WWE Championship match at the Royal Rumble and some are even calling it the match that will cement both The Miz and John Morrison as the future headliners of the WWE. While current plans don’t have Morrison in a big role at WrestleMania 27 it looks like plans may have changed as a result of how Morrison carried himself during the match. - With Wade Barrett’s loss at the Royal Rumble it is widely expected for him to debut on SmackDown before the Elimination Chamber. Barrett has impressed many of the higher ups and Barrett’s move to SmackDown will likely see him cemented as a member of the main event scene on Friday nights. There are currently plans for Barrett to take place in a big match at WrestleMania. - The finish for the World Heavyweight Championship match was only finalised hours before the start of the pay per view. Officials were going back and forth on whether to have Edge or Alberto Del Rio walk away with the title but it was decided to have Edge retain. Many backstage expect Del Rio to become the World Heavyweight Champion in 2011 but creative want to build him up more before that happens. There have been talks of having Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian take place at WrestleMania as a sort of test for Del Rio’s big match capabilities. - Cody Rhodes has been impressing important people backstage in recent months, namely Vince McMahon and Triple H, which is the primary reason he is receiving a run with the Intercontinental Championship. Many consider this to be Cody’s chance to prove himself as a potential main eventer ahead of a potential world title feud later in 2011. It is expected for him to defend the title at WrestleMania 27, although there is currently no word on who it will be against. - There were no injuries coming out of the Royal Rumble pay per view.

WWE Monday Night RAW; 31st January 2011- R-Truth Defeated Zack Ryder - Daniel Bryan Defeated William Regal Prior to the usual RAW kicks opening video we are treated to a video package highlighting the Royal Rumble pay per view. It focuses on John Cena defeating Wade Barrett to send him packing from RAW, The Miz successfully retaining the WWE Championship against John Morrison and Jack Swagger winning the 2011 Royal Rumble match. The road to WrestleMania continues now! We open immediately upon the music of Mr. McMahon, the WWE universe popping loud for the surprise appearance of the WWE chairman as he struts to the ring. McMahon is handed a microphone and begins talking about how he didn’t plan on being here tonight, but then he watched the Royal Rumble. McMahon says that he saw Triple H getting involved in the Royal Rumble match and that as the general manager he is not allowed to use his power to insert himself in a match. McMahon says that as a result Triple H has been given the night off and that next week he will issue Triple H an ultimatum. But onto tonight, Mr. McMahon says that since Jack Swagger won the Royal Rumble match that there is still a spot open for a RAW superstar in a world championship match at the Royal Rumble, which is why beginning tonight we will see the first of the Elimination Chamber qualifying matches, the winner of the Chamber challenging for either WWE or World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. McMahon says that also leaves the number one contenders spot open at the Elimination Chamber, so tonight John Morrison will face off with The Miz’s new best buddy Sheamus, the winner challenging The Miz for the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber! The crowd erupt at this announcement as Vince tells everyone to enjoy the show as we head to commercials. Commercial BreakELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH RANDY ORTON DEFEATED ALEX RILEY w/ WWE Champion The MizRandy Orton and The Miz have been at each other’s throats ever since The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Orton two months ago. A win here would give him another chance at challenging for a world champion so while Riley was cocky coming in he was quickly dropped by the furious and unrelenting offence of the Viper. Despite The Miz’s presence at ringside Randy walked away with the win, pinning Riley following an RKO to take the first spot in RAW’s Elimination Chamber match. We head backstage where Nexus are sitting in their locker room, none of them looking particularly happy. David Otunga stands up, shouting that he’s had enough of them moping around tonight. He says that Wade Barrett is gone and that they kicked him out of Nexus during the Royal Rumble match because he couldn’t do what he said he was going to do and defeat John Cena. Otunga says that they’re better off without him. He reminds them that tonight Nexus can claim two of the spots in the Elimination Chamber match and prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with. He asks them if they’re with him and they half heartedly agree as we fade to commercials. Commercial BreakWe return from commercials to the backstage area where Scott Stanford is standing by with John Cena. Stanford asks Cena how it feels to be rid of Wade Barrett from RAW for good. Cena says that it is the greatest he has felt in a long while, that a weight has been lifted from his shoulders. John says that without Wade Barrett he expects the Nexus to wither and die and that he’ll give it a helping hand tonight when he faces Husky Harris and Heath Slater in a triple threat match in an Elimination Chamber match. Cena says that now he is rid of Wade Barrett he can get back to focusing on the WWE Championship, which means The Miz needs to watch out. Cena walks off as we return to ringside. MARYSE & AJ w/ PRIMO DEFEATED WWE DIVA’S CHAMPION NATALYA & BRIE BELLAIt looks like there may be a fresh new face in contention for the Diva’s Championship. Coming off of an impressive title defence last night Natalya was looking to continue her winning ways in tag team action but found herself caught off guard by former NXT Season Three rookie AJ who shocked everybody by taking the fight straight to Natalya throughout this match. The former rookie took the surprising victory with a Shining Wizard. We return backstage where Scott Stanford is standing by with CM Punk, who made his big return to the WWE last night during the Royal Rumble match. Stanford asks CM Punk about how it feels to be back in the ring again after a lengthy absence. Punk says that he should be asking how it feels to be performing in front of these disgusting fans tonight. Punk says that these fans will never learn unless he shows them that he can save anybody, can turn anybody into a legend. CM Punk says that he is the only straight edge world champion in history and that he fully intends to hold championship gold again very soon. He finishes by saying that the age of CM Punk has begun, and that everybody else is just living in it. Punk walks off as we head to commercials. Commercial BreakELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH JOHN CENA DEFEATED HUSKY HARRIS & HEATH SLATERIt was obvious to everybody, including John Cena, that this was more of a glorified handicap match but the odds have never stopped John Cena before and they didn’t look likely to now. Without Wade Barrett leading the charge the Nexus appear lost, neither Harris or Slater really showing any focus or working together properly as a team. With the numbers game on their side they did hold Cena off but in the end it wasn’t enough. Cena levelled Slater with the Attitude Adjustment before locking in the STF on Husky Harris to take the victory and the Elimination Chamber spot.We head backstage where WWE Champion The Miz is talking with Sheamus about Mr. McMahon’s number one contender announcement earlier tonight. Miz tells Sheamus that this is the perfect opportunity to get rid of John Morrison for good and that Sheamus should focus simply on injuring Morrison tonight. Sheamus says he isn’t stupid, that he wants to be the WWE Champion so tonight he is going out there to win. The Miz reminds him whose idea this alliance was and Sheamus says that they agreed to help each other out but that he told Miz as soon as he got the chance he’d take the WWE Championship from him. Sheamus walks off and Miz is furious. Alex Riley walks up to The Miz, asking what’s going on. Miz tells him they’ve got a problem, one that needs to be sorted tonight. Miz and Riley walk off as we cut away. A graphic shows that this Friday, Jack Swagger will hold an official celebration ceremony for his victory at the Royal Rumble. Commercial BreakWe return to the backstage area where Scott Stanford is standing by with Justin Gabriel. Stanford asks Gabriel about how it feels to get a chance at qualifying for the Elimination Chamber later tonight. Gabriel says it feels great, that now he’s out on his own he is getting the opportunities that he deserves. Justin Gabriel says that tonight he goes one on one with David Otunga, that tonight he beats David Otunga and earns his spot in the Elimination Chamber. He finishes it off by saying that tonight he proves that Nexus is done now that Wade Barrett is gone from RAW. Gabriel walks off as we head to ringside. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH THE USO’S DEFEATED WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS SANTINO MARELLA & VLADAMIR KOZLOV w/ TAMINAThe feud between these two teams has been building for months with these two teams finally clashing for tag team gold. The Uso’s have been flying high recently and targeting the tag team champions constantly, getting the upper hand every time. This time they went at it in a fair legit match and things were a lot closer. Tamina’s presence at ringside turned out to be a deciding factor. Posing a distraction on the apron Tamina was suddenly pulled off by former NXT Season Three Rookie Maxine! Santino was distracted and went to check on Tamina but Jey Uso pulled him back, nailed him with the Samoan Drop and picked up the pinfall and the championships! The Uso’s roll out of the ring and are handed the WWE Tag Team Championships, new champions being crowned tonight. Maxine raises their arms on the ramp while Kozlov checks on Santino Marella and Tamina, both of them laid out as we cut backstage. We head to the hallway where David Otunga is on his way to ringside for his Elimination Chamber qualifying match with Justin Gabriel. Suddenly the hallway lights begin flickering, spooking Otunga. The lights go out completely before coming back on, Otunga completely freaked out. Otunga rushes up the hallway while in the background a shadowy figure can be seen staring at Otunga as we head to commercials. Commercial BreakELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH JUSTIN GABRIEL DEFEATED DAVID OTUNGAJust one month ago both of these men were part of Nexus. They were allies and friends. Now they’re on two very different paths. Justin Gabriel is flying high (literally and figuratively) and is one of the hottest prospects on RAW right now. David Otunga on the other hand seems to be floundering along with the rest of Nexus, which can only get worse now that they are lacking a true leader in Wade Barrett. This match demonstrated exactly that. Despite a solid showing from Otunga it was always going to be Justin Gabriel’s night, and he put his former Nexus cohort away with the 450 Splash.A video package plays promoting the first inductee of the Hall of Fame class of 2011. Please welcome the heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels to the WWE Hall of Fame! Commercial BreakWINNER CHALLENGES WWE CHAMPION THE MIZ AT ELIMINATION CHAMBER JOHN MORRISON vs. SHEAMUS WENT TO A NO CONTEST!If there’s one thing Sheamus has learnt from all of this, it’s to choose your friends wisely. Coming into this match off of a Royal Rumble elimination to Triple H Sheamus was fully focused on this match while John Morrison was looking to get right back into the title hunt following his loss to The Miz last night. The match was excellent as these men showed exactly why they put on such a good feud late last year (which is how Morrison got the Royal Rumble title shot in the first place). These men threw everything they had at each other but nothing was enough. John Morrison managed to take control with a Flying Chuck and just when things looked like there were coming to a head The Miz and Alex Riley charged the ring, attacking Morrison. The referee had no choice but to throw the match out.The Miz and Alex Riley continue beating down on John Morrison while Sheamus is still out of it, not knowing that The Miz has just cost him his chance at the number one contenders spot. Miz finishes the assault with the Skull Crushing Finale and begins taunting Morrison when the music of Mr. McMahon hits and the chairman of the WWE enters onto the stage, looking furious. McMahon says that he made this match because he wanted a winner and that if The Miz thinks he can just ruin it then he is sorely mistaken. McMahon tells Miz that since he doesn’t want a one on one match he won’t have one, pleasing Miz but confusing everyone else. McMahon follows up by announcing that at the Elimination Chamber pay per view The Miz will defend the WWE Championship against John Morrison and Sheamus in a triple threat match! The Miz goes crazy at this announcement, stomping around the ring. Sheamus is now on his feet and has realised exactly what has happened. Miz tries talking with him but Sheamus just stares at him. Miz quickly ducks out of the ring but Alex Riley isn’t so lucky as he finds himself the victim of a Brogue Kick! RAW goes off the air with Sheamus standing tall in the ring, staring down the WWE Champion.

Randy Orton winning over Alex Riley was called for, couldn't really see him in the elimination chamber doing much other then watching out for The Miz. The Cena promo was great, It was very well written as was the CM Punk one. Super Cena triumphs! It's good to see some talent stepping up with both nexus member's and it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for them to win so you did a good job there. The Uso's taking the gold was awesome, I love seeing the tag team division not be a joke and The Uso's making it fresh is great. Grabriel winning is good, I like to see newer talent in the Elimination Chamber. I'm looking forward to the triple threat between The Miz, John Morrison and Sheamus. All in all it was a great show, good job.

WWE NXT Season Four, Episode Nine; 1st February 2011We kick things off with a replay from last week’s show, which featured Brodus Clay replacing his injured pro Ted DiBiase with Alberto Del Rio. We are taken to Matt Striker in the ring who introduces us to our remaining rookies and reminding us that next week we will lose our third rookie of the season. Our first contest of the night is the arm wrestling challenge, with the winner taking 2 immunity points and the runner up 1 point. In the first bout Derrick Bateman faced Johnny Curtis and in a close call Bateman took the win. Brodus Clay was up next and had little trouble slamming Byron Saxton’s arm down. In the final bout Derrick Bateman faced off with Brodus Clay and despite giving it his all Bateman just couldn’t overpower Clay and Del Rio’s rookie took the victory, taking home 2 immunity points while Bateman claims 1. Commercial BreakR-Truth w/ Johnny Curtis Defeated Byron Saxton (2 – 5) w/ Chris MastersByron Saxton attempted to bounce back from his loss in the arm wrestling challenge but a match against Johnny Curtis’s pro R-Truth probably wasn’t the best way to do that. In a close fought match Saxton fought hard but R-Truth countered a victory roll attempt and hit the Axe Kick to take the victory. We head backstage where Daniel Bryan is going over a game plan with Derrick Bateman, who later tonight clashes with the monstrous Brodus Clay. Bateman insists that he can overpower Clay but Bryan tells him not to be so stupid and that tonight he needs to be able to outwrestle Clay every step of the way. Bryan reminds Bateman that it was his submission teaching that gained Bateman victory last week and Derrick Bateman relents. The two begin planning as we cut to commercials. Commercial BreakReturning from commercials it’s time for our second challenge of the night – the talk the talk challenge with the WWE Universe in attendance playing the role of judges and the winner taking home three immunity points. Byron Saxton is up first and he begins slating R-Truth, calling him a fake and doing nothing but pandering to the fans. He then begins berating his pro Chris Masters, saying that he’d have been better off with Hornswoggle. Masters shook his head as Saxton ended by declaring himself the future of the WWE. Johnny Curtis takes the microphone and directs his speech at Byron Saxton. Curtis tells Saxton that he needs to learn a little thing about respect. Curtis says R-Truth and Masters are pro’s because they’ve earned their place in the WWE and that Saxton is nothing but a little kid who lost and is throwing a tantrum. Saxton get’s into it with Curtis but Curtis pushes him to the ground and Matt Striker has to separate the pair, warning any physical action will result in disqualification from the tournament. Curtis and Saxton back down but Saxton warns Curtis that he’s just made a stupid mistake. Derrick Bateman is up next and he begins talking about how Daniel Bryan has taught him it doesn’t matter how big and strong you are, that wrestling is about planning and being able to capitalise on the smallest of mistakes. Bateman says that wrestling is about exactly that – wrestling, and that later tonight when he gets in the ring with Brodus Clay he’s going to prove that strength is nothing when you’re the better wrestler and that he is the best wrestler out of all the remaining rookies. Brodus Clay stepped up last and before he even began speaking he was getting heat from the crowd. Clay told them to shut up because it’s time for a real man to speak. Clay addressed Derrick Bateman, saying that his speech was cute but that when they step into the ring he’s going to crush Bateman like a bug. Clay says he is the only man who makes NXT worth watching because he is a perfect specimen and that just like his pro Alberto Del Rio it is his destiny to become the World Heavyweight Champion and that he’ll continue that by destroying Derrick Bateman tonight. Matt Striker proceeds to get the fans reactions, which will determine who wins the challenge and the three immunity points. They gave a lacklustre reaction to Byron Saxton while Johnny Curtis got a huge cheer, the crowd really behind him after he shoved Saxton. Derrick Bateman got a really big cheer as well and it’s going to be close between him and Curtis. Clay was last and the crowd once again gave him a lot of heat. Matt Striker had to redo Curtis and Bateman due to their similar pops but in the end Curtis walked away with the win and the three immunity points as we head to commercials. Commercial BreakWe return to a hallway backstage where Johnny Curtis is getting ready to leave the arena when Byron Saxton walks up to him, asking him what the hell he was doing just now. Curtis says that he doesn’t like Saxton because he has a big mouth but not enough talent to back it up. Saxton tells Curtis that he’s a nobody, that Curtis has no talent and no charisma. Johnny Curtis remains calm and tells Saxton to try and back that up next week in a match which Saxton rashly agrees to, warning Curtis that not only is he going to make him look like a fool next week, but that Curtis will probably be the one eliminated. Saxton walks off as Curtis shakes his head and we return to ringside. Derrick Bateman (4 – 4) w/ Daniel Bryan Defeated Brodus Clay (5 – 3) w/ Alberto Del RioWith the war of words over it was time to settle this the only way a WWE superstar knows how – in the ring. This was the battle of strength vs. speed and brains and it was quite a match, the two men putting on a brilliant display. Del Rio and Bryan’s presence added to the match and when Del Rio tried getting involved Daniel Bryan countered and took Del Rio out, throwing him over the security barricade while Bateman ducked a boot and rolled Clay up to take the victory!NEXT WEEK...The third elimination of NXT season four is here and it’s down to you to decide who gets eliminated. WWE RAW: Monday 31st January 2011...R-Truth beating Zack Ryder is a pretty fine match. R-Truth with the win is more deserving. Daniel Bryan and William Regal would have been an outstanding main event to WWE Superstars. Good RAW half of Superstars there. Good opening promo with Mr McMahon, looking forward to how you set this up, the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is what this method is for. Determining a number one contender to go to WrestleMania for a World Championship. Also like how Jack Swagger has until Elimination Chamber to decide who he faces at WrestleMania XXVII. I still can't see Swagger having too profitable a main event at WrestleMania though. Randy Orton beating Alex Riley was a swift opening contest, best decision made here though. Maryse and AJ is an interesting combination. Where is Nikki Bella? The right team won. Don't rush the WWE Divas Championship on AJ, nor feud Natalya with AJ just yet. So glad CM Punk isn't a part of the Nexus. John Cena overcoming the odds against the Nexus is acceptable booking, not a bad first-hour main event. Cena was always going to qualify for Elimination Chamber. Husky Harris and Heath Slater need more credibility. The Usos winning the WWE Tag Team Championships would be fine if they actually gained a crowd reaction. Don't care for this, you should have squeezed the last bit of momentum out of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Keep them as a team though. Oh well, at least that abysmal feud is over. Maxine being used could be good. Shame she sucks on the microphone - why she won't be a good manager. Wow, Justin Gabriel and David Otunga facing off? What is this, NXT Season One? Gabriel advancing doesn't interest me at all. He's not ready as far as I'm concerned. Plus, Gabriel beating Otunga basically just kills more (or what's left) of David's momentum and credibility. Sheamus and John Morrison main eventing I'm not sure of. I'd have switched this match around with the Orton and Riley match. At least that would make a decent main event, whereas this midcard at best feud (in my eyes) wouldn't really do much for the main event of RAW after Royal Rumble. The Miz against Morrison and Sheamus is smart booking though, I see why this main evented. I wonder who else will go into the RAW Elimination Chamber match now though. Quite a good show, a few booking decisions I'm not overly sure of, but it did work well.
WWE NXT: Tuesday 1st February 2011...Fair Arm Wrestling challenge for the Rookies to kick off the show I suppose, it's best that the big man Brodus Clay scored the win, as largest man in the competition it would really damage his chances if he lost this test of strength. R-Truth beating Byron Saxton was obvious, enjoyable match I'd say. The Talk the Talk challenge was quite good, should have opened the show and switched places with the Arm Wrestling challenge in my mind. More entertainment to kick off the episode. Johnny Curtis winning though upsets me. I just don't see anything in Curtis that is remotely entertaining other than his decent in-ring work. Derrick Bateman should have won, he's the most charismatic out of the group. Should have had a third match, you could have easily filled one in really. Derrick Bateman beating Brodus Clay was a decent main event, glad Bateman won this anyway. Not too bad a show, nothing special.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN; 4th FEBRUARY 2011- Trent Barreta & Kelly Kelly Defeated Chavo Guerrero & Layla w/ Michelle McCool- Kaval Defeated Curt Hawkins Prior to the normal opening video a recap package airs of the 2011 Royal Rumble match, highlighting Jack Swagger’s historic victory to claim himself a World Championship match of his choice at WrestleMania 27. We open up with our announce team of Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and the returning Booker T! Booker says it felt great to return at the Royal Rumble and that he will now be entertaining fans on commentary. Cole quips that Booker should just follow his lead before revealing that SmackDown GM Theodore Long has announced that Edge will defend his World Heavyweight Championship in an Elimination Chamber match at the pay per view, with qualifying matches starting tonight. They are cut off by the music of the 2011 Royal Rumble winner, Jack Swagger, who makes his way down to the ring in a very expensive looking suit. Jack Swagger begins by bragging about his Royal Rumble victory, saying that nobody thought he could do it but he proved them wrong. He says that he knew all along he was destined to be victorious, because he is the greatest wrestler in the WWE. Swagger says that he may be young, but he is the perfect specimen of pure talent and that in two months, at WrestleMania 27, he will become a World Champion. This brings out the current World Heavyweight Champion Edge, who hits the ring to a huge ovation. Edge congratulates Swagger, saying that he did well to win the Royal Rumble, but that if he’s planning on challenging him for the World Heavyweight Championship, then he’s going to have to realise now that his ‘destiny’ isn’t going to happen, because there is no way he intends to lose the title any time soon. Swagger tells Edge that he can run his mouth all he wants because if wants the World Heavyweight Championship, then he’s going to take it. Suddenly Swagger nails Edge with a cheap right hand and the two go at it. Edge gets the upper hand, sending Swagger to the mat before setting him up for the Spear, only for Swagger to roll out of the ring at the last second. Edge and Swagger stare each other down as we head to our first set of commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH KOFI KINGSTON DEFEATED INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION CODY RHODESCody Rhodes came back to Earth with a bump on SmackDown, as the new Intercontinental Champion faced Kofi Kingston in SmackDown’s first Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Coming into this match Rhodes arrogance was obvious but if you’re not focused against Kofi Kingston then it’s going to come back to bite you in the ass as Rhodes learnt very quickly. When a an attractive female crowd member caught the ‘dashing’ superstars eye the distraction allowed Kingston to catch Rhodes off guard with the Trouble in Paradise to take the victory. As Kofi Kingston begins to celebrate Cody Rhodes rolls out of the ring, looking dejected and shocked. Suddenly we hear the voice of Matt Striker, shouting about how something is a joke. Striker appears at the top of the ramp storming to the ring, microphone in hand. Striker shouts that he was all ready to work today when he was rung and told not to come in because Booker T was taking commentating duties. Striker storms over to the announce table, asking Booker what he thinks he is doing and why he thinks he can just come back to a company he turned his back on and then take a hard working man’s job. Booker tries talking him down but Striker slaps him so hard his headset falls to the floor. As security rush to pull Striker away he shouts that if this is the way WWE treat their employees then he’s going to show everyone exactly what brought him to the company in the first place. Striker storms off as we head to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to SmackDown with a furious looking Cody Rhodes walking through the backstage corridor when he bumps into the man he beat for the Intercontinental Championship, Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler taunts Rhodes over his loss, saying that next week he can watch a real winner take a place in the Elimination Chamber. Rhodes grabs Ziggler and pushes him into a pile of crates, telling him to back off before he makes sure he doesn’t get a chance to qualify. Rhodes storms off as Ziggler is left looking furious on the floor. BETH PHOENIX DEFEATED NAOMIYou know what they say, payback is a... well, let’s just say it isn’t any fun. As Beth Phoenix and recent SmackDown addition Naomi clashed one on one Kaitlyn got a measure of revenge on her recent rival, distracting her long enough for Phoenix to take control and connect with the Glam Slam for the victory.Following the match Kaitlyn yanks Naomi out of the ring, the newest Diva hitting the concrete floor with an impact. As Kaitlyn admires her handywork Beth Phoenix asks for a microphone before announcing that this Monday she will be heading to RAW to challenge Diva’s Champion Natalya one on one. The commentating team hype this potential battle between two of the strongest Diva’s in WWE as we head to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKAs we return unfamiliar music begins to play before former Nexus leader Wade Barrett enters onto the ramp. Barrett makes his way to the ring getting a fair amount of heat from the crowd. Barrett hits the ring, is handed a microphone and begins speaking about how at the Royal Rumble he was cheated out of his spot on the RAW roster, but that’s okay because now he is finally free from John Cena and those idiots in Nexus who couldn’t get a damn thing done. But now he’s on his own and ready to take SmackDown by force and he’s going to start by qualifying for the Elimination Chamber match and becoming World Heavyweight Champion. At that moment the music of the Big Show hits as he is announced as Barrett’s opponent for tonight, much to the distaste of Barrett. ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH WADE BARRETT DEFEATED BIG SHOWWelcome to SmackDown Wade Barrett, hope you enjoyed the welcoming party. With a spot in SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber on the line the man mountain Big Show clashed with the roughneck Brit Wade Barrett, who proved to be more than capable of holding his own here tonight. When it came down to it however neither of the men involved in the match but rather somebody who nobody expected to see – Diesel. When Diesel, who made his return at the Royal Rumble, came out onto the ramp the distraction allowed Barrett to roll Show up and use the tights to take the victory.COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to SmackDown where a graphic shows that in tonight’s main event, old foes Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio will clash one more time with a spot in SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber on the line. We return to the backstage area where Drew McIntyre is spotted talking with a member of the backstage crew. Vickie Guerrero walks up to McIntyre and starts to flirt with him, McIntyre clearly having little interest. Vickie mentions that she is looking for a new ‘client’ now that Ziggler has abandoned her. McIntyre says that he is glad Ziggler saw some sense and got rid of the anchor that is Vickie Guerrero, saying he doesn’t intend to get involved with someone who is clearly unbeneficial to his career. Drew walks off as Vickie watches him, a strange grin on her face as we return to ringside. TYLER REKS DEFEATED KANEMany people consider Kane to be the scariest individual in World Wrestling Entertainment but you try telling that to Tyler Reks. The big man from parts unknown came into this match entirely focused on the Big Red Machine, who looked to gain back some of his lost momentum following his failure to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. In a rough and hard hitting match Kane looked to have the win when he wrapped his hand around Reks throat looking for the Chokeslam, only for Reks to forcefully break the grasp, lift Kane up and drop him to the mat with the Burning Hammer for the victory. Nobody will forge the cold look on Reks face as he looked down at his beaten foe.COMMERCIAL BREAKWe head to the backstage area where Rey Mysterio is getting ready for his big Elimination Chamber qualifying match. He’s stretching out when he is engulfed in a shadow, standing up to come face to face with the 2011 Royal Rumble winner Jack Swagger. Swagger wishes Rey luck tonight, saying that he’s going to need it. Rey says he intends to win tonight and that after he becomes the World Heavyweight Champion at Elimination Chamber he hopes Swagger decides to challenge him, because it would feel great to shut Swagger’s giant mouth up for good. Mysterio walks off as Swagger looks on angrily as we return to ringside. DREW MCINTYRE DEFEATED CHRIS MASTERSEven when you don’t want Vickie Guerrero’s help, she seems to be there in your corner. That was the lesson Drew McIntyre learnt this week as he went one on one with Chris Masters, who has been flying high in recent weeks on both SmackDown and SuperStars. McIntyre was looking certain of a victory but Masters just overpowered him at every turn, eventually locking in the Masterlock. With the unbreakable hold locked in the result looked certain but when Vickie entered out and distracted the referee McIntyre levelled Masters with a low blow and hit the Future Shock for the victory. Despite the assist McIntyre left without Vickie, shouting that he didn’t need anything from her.We head backstage where Big Show is storming through the backstage area, furiously looking for Diesel after his presence cost him his match earlier tonight. Show finds Diesel, looking as cool and calm as ever, talking with some crew members. Show angrily asks Diesel what the hell he was doing out there and Diesel tells him to chill out, saying he was only doing a bit of scouting. Confused, Big Show asks what he means but Diesel says that he’ll tell him when he tells everyone else – next week on SmackDown. Diesel tries walking away but Big Show blocks him. Diesel brushes him off, warning him to keep his hands off him before heading off. COMMERCIAL BREAKPrior to our main event a video package airs highlighting the return of Christian at the Royal Rumble, entering at number forty and eliminating the man who injured him, Alberto Del Rio. A graphic shows that next week, Christian returns to SmackDown! ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH ALBERTO DEL RIO DEFEATED REY MYSTERIOOld enemies make the best opponents, but a new enemy is always just around the corner here in the WWE. Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio, who have previously clashed in a series of physical matches, met one on one once again in one of the best matches of the year so far. A terrific blend of hard hitting mat wrestling, jaw dropping high spots and top class ring psychology these two thrilled the live crowd and viewing audience alike. In a close and fast paced match both men looked capable of taking the match at points but after Mysterio hit the 619 it looked over. As Mysterio attempted to Drop the Dime Jack Swagger appeared, grabbing Mysterio’s foot. Mysterio kicked him away but by that point Del Rio was ready and as Mysterip springboarded off Del Rio booted him in the cut and locked in the Rolling Armbar to take the submission victory and qualify for his first ever Elimination Chamber.Despite having had a helping hand from Jack Swagger Del Rio begins celebrating like he won the entire match on his own. As Mysterio is getting to his feet Jack Swagger rolls into the ring and proceeds to deliver a vicious kick to the back of Mysterio’s skull, shouting that he should have kept his mouth closed earlier. Swagger and Del Rio begin putting the boots in on Mysterio before World Heavyweight Champion Edge runs in to make the save, delivering a vicious Spear to Del Rio. Before he can get to Jack Swagger he makes a quick exit out of the ring, grinning. In a scene reminiscent of the beginning of the show SmackDown goes off the air with Edge and Jack Swagger staring each other down, only this time Swagger is grinning while Edge checks on Rey Mysterio.

- This week it was announced that Shawn Michaels, who retired last year at WrestleMania 26, will be the first member of the WWE class of 2011. Many other names are still being thrown around and it is expected that more will be announced in the build up to WrestleMania 27. - WWE officials have already decided on the headlining matches for WrestleMania 27. While there are currently no plans for a singular blockbuster match to headline the show WWE plans to push a number of matches as co-main events in order to sell the show as a must see for all wrestling fans. WWE are in talks with a number of big name celebrities about appearing at the show in some capacity. - Booker T returned to SmackDown this week, joining the announce team alongside Michael Cole and Josh Matthews. During SmackDown a segment with former commentator Matt Striker aired, effectively turning Striker heel. Word is that Matt Striker is expected to take on a manager role with a sports agent gimmick in the coming weeks as creative feel he is the perfect choice to try and put over young stars who have little to no mic skills. It’s unknown who Striker will be aligning with but some names thrown around are Curt Hawkins, Tyson Kidd and Tyler Reks amongst others. - Another return during SmackDown was Diesel, who cost Big Show his Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Wade Barrett. Current plans call for a Diesel/ Big Show match at Elimination Chamber, but there are no plans for Diesel to feature at WrestleMania, the feeling being that Diesel’s age does not make him profitable in the long term. Of course depending on the reaction he gets in coming weeks that could all change. - There were originally plans for a segment between Mr. McMahon, AJ and Primo in which a Diva’s Championship Match between Natalya and AJ Lee would be booked for the Elimination Chamber pay per view. The segment was pulled from the show at the last minute as creative didn’t like the way it played out. No word yet on whether this means the match between Natalya and AJ will still go ahead or if it has been scrapped all together. - Over the past week Kane has been working as a face at SmackDown live events, particularly in matches against Tyler Reks and Cody Rhodes. On the most recent edition of SmackDown Kane worked face against Tyler Reks, so we are led to believe that Kane is now working face. This is likely because of a lack of top level faces on the SmackDown brand until something can be done about that during the draft after WrestleMania. WWE SmackDown: Friday 4th February 2011...Trent Barreta and Kelly Kelly is an interesting combination, Chavo Guerrero paired with Laycool would be quite funny. Kaval beating Curt Hawkins sounds like a damn good match. Get Hawkins on SmackDown more, he's got an interesting character. Jack Swagger's promo was pretty decent, nothing bad, he's Royal Rumble winner, of course he deserves air time. Swagger and Edge for WrestleMania XXVII sounds nothing main event worthy though for 'Mania. Kofi Kingston beating Cody Rhodes is a shame, would have rather seen Rhodes in the Elimination Chamber than Kofi. Matt Striker shooting on Booker T was beautiful. They could probably have a decent match still, too. Good. Never liked Naomi and Beth Phoenix destroying her is the right way to do it. Wade Barrett debuting on SmackDown alone is good. Good win against Big Show. Diesel back long-term? Hmm, not fond. If Barrett ends up facing Diesel at WrestleMania, I'll be disappointed with the 'big plans' you previously told he would have. Tyler Reks beating Kane? Interesting call, no complaints though. Kane is past his prime so badly, Reks has an intriguing look. Just keep him in the midcard. I'd hope you have Kane retire this year sometime. Drew McIntyre beating Chris Masters is acceptable, just keep Masters relevant: he's a better worker than he ever was, is still young, and deserves to be a top midcarder at the very least. Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio had an amazing main event, glad that Del Rio's in the Chamber and Mysterio isn't. Liked the ending focusing back on Edge and Swagger too. A solid show overall, I really like this diary at the moment.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW; 7th February 2011- The Great Khali Defeated Zack Ryder - David Hart Smith Defeated William Regal We head to ringside where Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome us to another edition of Monday Night RAW. With just two weeks to go until the Elimination Chamber pay per view tonight we will see our final three Elimination Chamber qualifying matches, one of which includes the returning CM Punk. At the mention of his name Punk’s music hits and the Straight Edge Superstar makes his way to the ring. CM Punk enters the ring and is handed a microphone, waiting for the crowd to die down before speaking. First off he says it feels good to be back in a WWE ring ready to compete, but that it’s depressing knowing it’s in front of a crowd full of fat, drugged up hicks. Puck continues insulting the crowd getting a ridiculous amount of heat before turning his attention to the WWE locker room. Punk says that since he’s been out of action they’ve not had any real competition and that they’ve gotten sloppy but they don’t need to worry because a real star has returned to lift the ratings and actually entertain these hick fans. He says he’ll begin that by qualifying for the Elimination Chamber and going on to become WWE Champion at WrestleMania. He is cut off by the music of another returning RAW superstar who has a gripe with CM Punk, and his opponent right now – Evan Bourne! ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH CM PUNK DEFEATED EVAN BOURNEBack in October CM Punk put Evan Bourne out of action. Since then Punk himself has tasted injury and was looking to make an immediate impact upon his return, but that isn’t easy when you have a furious Evan Bourne seeking some revenge. In an amazing opening contest to Monday Night RAW these two men gave it their all in a fast and furious encounter that was clearly about more than simply qualifying for the Chamber. In the end it looked like Evan Bourne was in control but when he leaped off the top rope looking for a crossbody Punk grabbed him in the mid air, connecting with the GTS to take victory.COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to RAW and the office of RAW general manager Triple H, who later tonight will meet Mr. McMahon in the ring to receive some kind of ultimatum. Sheamus walks into the office, a massive grin on his face. Triple H immediately gets onto his feet ready to defend himself but Sheamus says he needs to watch himself, he’s already in enough trouble and it will be a shame if he loses his job. Triple H says that no matter what happens right now he is still the RAW general manager, which means he makes the matches. He says that he knows Sheamus has had some problems with The Miz which is why tonight... he’ll be teaming with him against John Cena and John Morrison! Sheamus is less than impressed but Triple H says he better go get ready, it’d be a shame if he got injured. Sheamus walks off as we return to ringside. DIVA’S CHAMPION NATALYA DEFEATED AJ w/ PRIMOIt takes more than a single tag team victory over the Diva’s Champion before your ready to challenge one on one, a lesson that RAW newcomer AJ learnt all too well on RAW. While she put on an impressive performance again the Diva’s Champion Natalya showed exactly why she’s the top Diva right now, putting AJ away with the Sharpshooter.Following the match Natalya is handed the Diva’s Championship when the music of SmackDown’s Beth Phoenix hits and the Glamazon makes her way to the ring. She is handed a microphone and begins talking about how despite the fact everybody wants to see it, she still hasn’t had a one on one match with Natalya for the Diva’s Championship. Beth suggests that they settle that problem at the Elimination Chamber pay per view but is cut off by Melina, who enters onto the ramp with a microphone. Melina claims that she deserves a shot at Natalya as she is the best diva in the WWE and everybody here knows it, claiming that her loss at the Royal Rumble was simply a fluke. Natalya interrupts the pair of them, saying she’d be happy to face them both for the title at the Elimination Chamber. Both Beth and Melina agree with this idea and it appears the match is made – at the Elimination Chamber pay per view Natalya will defend the Diva’s Championship against both Melina and Beth Phoenix in a triple threat match! The three Diva’s stare at each other as we head to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKWe open up on the locker room of Nexus, where the remaining Nexus of David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty, Husky Harris and Heath Slater are talking, all four of them in action at some point tonight. McGillicutty tells them that he fully intends to qualify for the Elimination Chamber in just a moment and they wish him luck as he heads off to ringside. Otunga says that they all need victories here tonight to keep Nexus strong. Suddenly the lights in their locker room flicker and all three look a little freaked out. Otunga tells them not worry about it but it’s obvious that these strange occurrences are getting to him as we head to ringside. ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY DEFEATED UNITED STATES CHAMPION DANIEL BRYANNexus may be falling apart, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a bright spot for the group as third generation superstar Michael McGillicutty showed exactly why he claims to have such a bright future on RAW. Facing off against United States Champion Daniel Bryan McGillicutty had a huge task ahead of him but he lived up to his newly coined ‘Perfect Son’ moniker by putting on a solid back and forth match. Daniel Bryan came close to winning numerous times but every time he came close to locking in one of his signature submissions McGillicutty managed to counter, eventually turning the LeBelle Lock into a roll up for the surprising victory! We head backstage where Sheamus is shown walking into the locker room of WWE Champion The Miz. Miz immediately gets on the defensive, pushing Alex Riley in the middle of them to keep himself safe. Sheamus says he isn’t here to hurt him, he knows he’ll get enough of that at the Elimination Chamber, but says tonight they have to team together. Neither of them are happy about it but Sheamus still wants to win and if he has to work with Miz to do that then he will. Miz agrees and the two agree to work together tonight to take out Morrison and Cena. Sheamus walks out and Miz tells Riley that everything is going to work out perfectly. COMMERCIAL BREAKAs we return to RAW we see a replay of what happened two weeks ago when Daniel Bryan injured Ted DiBiase’s arm with the LeBell Lock. Michael Cole then reveals that after numerous tests they have an update on DiBiase. They state that he did indeed break his arm when locked in the hold and that he will likely be out of the ring for several weeks to months. They also reveal that DiBiase will have a video statement to make live on RAW next week regarding the injury. JUSTIN GABRIEL, EZEKIAL JACKSON & YOSHI TATSU DEFEATED DAVID OTUNGA, HEATH SLATER & HUSKY HARRISJust when you think Nexus are getting back on track they fall apart again. When the members of Nexus squared off against the makeshift trio of former Nexus member Justin Gabriel, the dominant Ezekial Jackson and fan favourite Yoshi Tatsu many expected the more experienced Nexus to come off on top, but when an argument erupted between Otunga and Harris on the outside Slater was left to the mercy of his opponents, receiving the Book of Ezekial followed by the devastating 450 Splash to give Gabriel the pinfall and the win.Following the match David Otunga and Husky Harris continue arguing outside the ring while Justin Gabriel, Ezekial Jackson and Yoshi Tatsu celebrate inside the ring. Suddenly a gong is heard and the lights go out, the crowd going crazy. When they come back on nothing has happened, but Otunga and Harris are freaked out, quickly pulling Slater from the ring and high tailing it backstage as we head to a commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to RAW to the music of the new WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s, who enter out onto the stage alongside former NXT Season Three rookie Maxine. The Uso’s do an almost war dance on the stage before hitting the ring, Maxine taking a microphone from ringside and joining them. Maxine says that everybody seems to be wondering why she is with The Uso’s but the answer is very simple – she likes winners and The Uso’s are certainly big winners right now. Maxine says that when she looks at The Uso’s she sees the best team in the WWE right now and that it is down to her to make them the greatest tag team in WWE history. She tells everyone to take a good look at the WWE Tag Team Champions because soon enough they’ll be on every magazine cover and billboard thanks to her. Before she can continue they are caught off guard by former tag team champions Santino Marella and Vladamir Kozlov who roll in from behind and take The Uso’s by surprise in the same way The Uso’s have been cheap shotting them in recent weeks. Maxine tries getting involved but Tamina appears, tackling her to the ground. Santino, Kozlov and Tamina quickly get the upper hand and send The Uso’s and Maxine packing from the ring. The two groups stare each other down as we cut away. A video package airs promoting the Elimination Chamber pay per view in two weeks time. It focuses heavily on the WWE Championship match between The Miz, John Morrison and Sheamus as well as RAW’s Elimination Chamber match. We head to the parking lot where a very important limousine has just pulled up. The chauffer opens up the back door to reveal the chairman of the WWE Mr. McMahon, who in just a short amount of time will confront RAW general manager Triple H. McMahon exits the car and heads into the arena, big things expected for the last portion of the show. COMMERCIAL BREAKELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH R-TRUTH DEFEATED TYSON KIDD w/ JACKSON ANDREWS & NIKKI BELLAThe truth of the matter is that R-Truth was looking very impressive in the final Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Even with his entourage at ringside Tyson Kidd struggled at times to outmatch R-Truth’s quick ruthless ring style as he overcame much of what was thrown at him. Nikki Bella and Jackson Andrews were of course ominous at ringside for Truth and he kept having to look over his shoulder but not even that was enough to help Kidd take this one. When Nikki distracted the referee Andrews attempted to get involved, but Truth ducked under a boot and sent his own into the crotch of Andrews, throwing him out of the ring and hitting the Lie Detector on Kidd to take the victory.A video package airs highlighting last week’s announcement that Shawn Michaels will be the headlining star of the hall of fame’s 2011 class. The video package finishes and a graphic shows that next week on RAW, Shawn Michaels will appear live! We cut backstage where we see Mr. McMahon strutting down a hallway heading to ringside. He will call out RAW general manager Triple H next! COMMERCIAL BREAKThe iconic music of the WWE chairman hits as Mr. McMahon does his usual strut to the ring. Having made a rare appearance last week on Monday Night RAW the crowd know what’s coming, and are therefore not surprised when McMahon calls out the RAW general manager. Triple H’s music hits and the suited cerebral assassin makes his way to the ring. He is handed a microphone as he enters, now standing in the ring with old foe Mr. McMahon. McMahon initially plays a replay of Triple H’s involvement in the Royal Rumble match. He says that when he made Triple H the general manager he did it because he knew Triple H doesn’t take crap from anybody, that he knows how this business works and because he promised not to step into the ring. Triple H says that Vince knew this was a temporary measure, that he only planned on staying in the back until he healed up. This is where McMahon reveals that he knows Triple H isn’t ready to step into the ring, that his doctors won’t be clearing him to compete any time soon which is why he has to make him this ultimatum. Mr. McMahon tells Triple H to make a choice – either he sticks to his general manager position in which case he keeps out of the ring and out of Sheamus’s business, or he gives it up and risks his career to get back into the ring too early. Triple H is clearly conflicted but Mr. McMahon tells him that he has until the Elimination Chamber pay per view to make his decision, but that whatever he decides he has to stick by. McMahon leaves the ring, leaving Triple H standing in the ring pondering his future as we head to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKJOHN CENA & JOHN MORRISON DEFEATED WWE CHAMPION THE MIZ & SHEAMUS w/ ALEX RILEYYou’d think by now people would realise to stop underestimating just how nefarious The Miz actually is, especially considering all three of the other men involved in the match have experienced it firsthand. As these four men, three of whom will be competing for the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber, clashed in a solid main event. This match was all about the psychology behind it while Morrison and Sheamus provided some excellent in ring action as well as we’ve seen in the past. Miz and Sheamus clearly weren’t happy about teaming together but seemed to be on the same page... until The Miz decided otherwise, abandoning Sheamus just when he needed to make the tag most. Sheamus was shocked but nobody else was as Sheamus turned around right into the Attitude Adjustment. Morrison followed up with the Starship Pain and the pinfall to take the victory. The Miz, alongside Alex Riley, watches on from the outside as Morrison indicates that he wants Miz in the ring right now. Miz shrugs his shoulders, shouting that he’s smarter than any of them, and heading up the ramp. Inside the ring Sheamus is getting onto his feet only to receive a second Attitude Adjustment, the crowd going crazy as RAW goes off the air with John Cena and John Morrison standing victorious.

RAW Feb 7: Great, great opening promo by Punk, and of course, he had to win after that, Punk for the win in the chamber please haha. My favorite diva Natalya gets the easy victory, happy to see that. That is a sick triple threat match, three women who can actually work a good match. Not sure how I feel about mcgullicty winning, but it is something fresh, so we shall see where you take it. Undertaker haunting the Nexus is great. Have a feeling HHH will go in the ring again, and hopefully so, looking forward to that. Great ending to the main event. Elimination Chamber is shaping up pretty well.

WWE RAW: Monday 7th February 2011...The Great Khali beating Zack Ryder sounded like pure entertainment value. David Hart Smith beating William Regal was an upset, I would rather have Regal than Smith though. Smith on his own is terrible. CM Punk's promo was pretty good, just revealing his plans for the Road to WrestleMania XXVII. Decent opening contest, Punk with the win was made obvious by his opening promo. Entertaining opening contest though. Evan Bourne isn't exactly going to suddenly dive into the Elimination Chamber match. Sheamus and Triple H's feud rages on, I anticipate Sheamus to face Hunter at WrestleMania. Natalya beating AJ is nothing special. Intrigued by a feud between Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Good set up for the triple threat divas match for the WWE Divas Championship though. Michael McGillicutty is in the Elimination Chamber? He's a dire wrestler, seriously. I would have preferred the opportunity for Daniel Bryan to get a massive push through this match than McGillicutty. Ted Dibiase's arm is broken? I like how it happened with Bryan though. Please please please don't do Bryan against Ted Dibiase at WrestleMania though. Let Bryan face someone new at least. Justin Gabriel and Yoshi Tatsu sounds like a class tag team. Good that they paired with Ezekiel Jackson, Zeke made their side look even against the Nexus. The Undertaker returning could be interesting, but after the Nexus? Odd. The Usos as WWE Tag Team Champions I'll need time to get used to. They aren't that charismatic or entertaining outside of wrestling, and Maxine is awful on the microphone too. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov need to win the titles back very soon. I don't see why this needed a promo. Nikki Bella is with Tyson Kidd now too? I'd have rather had Kidd and Jackson Andrews. R-Truth with the win was obvious. Poor Kidd. I believe the Mr McMahon promo should have been the first hour main event. McMahon giving Hunter the ultimatum was intriguing, he'll definitely accept the challenge. John Cena and John Morrison beating The Miz and Sheamus is a nice main event to wrap up the show, and a decent episode this week.

A good opening promo from CM Punk, I really hope you have something good planned for him at Mania. Punk going over Bourne is obvious, I'm glad Bourne got a qualifier though. Sheamus and Miz vs. Cena and Morrison could be good. The triple threat should be good, I hope Beth Phoenix gets the belt. McGillicutty in the chamber? wow. I can see him breaking apart from Nexus soon enough. I like the babyface team winning, push Gabriel. I could see Undertaker vs. Nexus at Mania, which could be entertaining. R-Truth winning was obvious, he's too bland as a face though. Interesting segment with HHH and McMahon, I do believe HHH will end up going after Sheamus. Miz walking away is for the best, really plays off his character well. A good show, I just hope you can add some spice to the Elimination Chamber participants.

Good opening promo by Punk.. Pretty obvious that he was gonna get the W after making that promo. I hope he ends up winning the EC.
RAW: Triple H/Sheamus feud is shaping up, I like what you're doing with Triple H as GM as Raw.
Diva's Championship @ EC should be good.. go beth go!
Good to see R-Truth in the EC too. it's shaping up to be a good PPV. Main event was really good I thought, nice to see Miz's heel tactics by walking out on Sheamus. Things are heating up and I like it!
Keep up the great work.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN; 11th February 2011- Kelly Kelly Defeated Layla w/ Michelle McCool - Tyler Reks Defeated Trent Barreta With just two weeks to go until the Elimination Chamber pay per view SmackDown kicks off with our announce team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews. Tonight we have the final two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches as Dolph Ziggler, Kaval, Curt Hawkins and the returning Christian all fight it out to take spots in the all important World Heavyweight Championship match. We are cut off by the music of the 2011 Royal Rumble winner Jack Swagger, who last week cost Rey Mysterio his qualifying match. Swagger hits the ring all suited out to a lot of heat. Jack Swagger starts off by saying that last week he sent a very loud and clear message when he cost Rey Mysterio his Elimination Chamber qualifying match – do not underestimate him. Swagger says that Rey Mysterio underestimated him, that Mysterio thought his Royal Rumble victory was just a fluke, and now he’s got no chance to headline WrestleMania, unlike the greatest wrestler in the WWE who at WrestleMania achieves his destiny and becomes World Champion. Swagger is cut off by the same man he has been trashing, Rey Mysterio. Mysterio sprints to the ring but Swagger makes a quick exit, not wanting any part of this right now. Mysterio is handed a microphone and shouts that if Swagger wants to be taken seriously then he needs to man up. He says last week Swagger cost him his match and that now he needs to face up to that and get in the ring and face Mysterio one on one. Swagger shakes his head, walking off backstage as Mysterio watches on, SmackDown head off to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH DOLPH ZIGGLER DEFEATED KAVALDolph Ziggler may have only recently lost his Intercontinental Championship, but things are looking up for the blonde superstar as he faced off with Kaval in the first of two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches tonight. In a fast paced back and forth contest both men showed the agility that would make either one an exciting aspect in the Chamber. Kaval had Ziggler all set up for the Warrior’s Way but when he made the leap Ziggler rolled out of the way and caught Kaval off guard with the Zig Zag to take the victory. We head to the office of SmackDown general manager Theodore Long as Jack Swagger walks in, demanding to know why Long called him here. Theodore Long says that he saw Swagger’s little altercation with Rey Mysterio earlier tonight and that he thinks Rey had a point. Long explains that here on SmackDown if you’re going to go about interrupting important matches you have to prepare to back those actions up which is why at the Elimination Chamber pay per view Rey will get his match – Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio one on one. Swagger is furious, shouting how Long can’t do this. T-Long says he can and he has and that’s not all because tonight Swagger will team with Alberto Del Rio against World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Rey Mysterio. Long tells Swagger he can leave and he furiously storms out as we head to commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKCHRIS MASTERS & KAITLYN DEFEATED CHAVO GUERRERO & NAOMIThe ongoing feud between Kaitlyn and Naomi escalated tonight as they faced off once again, this time in mixed tag team action. The hatred between these two Diva’s was the focal point of this match but it was Chris Masters and Chavo Guerrero who provided most of the entertainment, Masters eventually making Chavo tap to the Masterlock. We cut backstage where Dolph Ziggler is bragging to Team Lay-Cool about qualifying for the Elimination Chamber, although they don’t look too impressed. Cody Rhodes walks up to the pair and instead of being his usual ‘dashing’ self tells them to get lost before turning his attention to Dolph Ziggler. Rhodes congratulates Ziggler on qualifying but tells him there’s one thing he hasn’t done – beat him. Rhodes makes him an offer for next week on SmackDown – Cody Rhodes vs. Dolph Ziggler, Intercontinental Championship vs. Ziggler Chamber spot. Ziggler says that knows he can beat Rhodes and Cody tells him to prove it. Feeling pressured Ziggler accepts and Rhodes tells him he just made a big mistake and walks off. Ziggler turns around and is suddenly jumped from behind by Rhodes who throws him over a catering table. Rhodes tells Ziggler that he’ll see him next week as we cut away. A video package airs promoting the first entrant into Hall of Fame’s class of 2011 Shawn Michaels, ending by reminding us that Monday Night on RAW Shawn Michaels will make a very special appearance. COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to SmackDown with Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews running down the rest of tonight’s show. They are suddenly interrupted by the shouts of former announce team member Matt Striker, who last week voiced his displeasure at being taken off the announce team for Booker T. Striker walks to the ring shouting about how Booker has been boring these fans for the past two weeks and he’s sick of it. Striker enters the ring and proceeds to say that since he can’t get Booker T taken off the announce team by talking to the idiot officials in the back he’ll do it by personally shutting Booker T up. Striker reminds everyone that he is a former in ring competitor and proceeds to challenge Booker T to a match next Sunday at the Elimination Chamber. Booker T, never one to turn down a challenge, accepts the challenge saying it’ll be a pleasure to shut Striker up. With the match official Striker grins, telling Booker that he’s going to get a rude awakening at the Elimination Chamber as we cut away. A video package airs highlighting that last week on SmackDown Wade Barrett appeared, announcing that after being booted off of RAW he had signed a contract to appear on Friday Night’s, going on to defeat the Big Show to qualifying for the Elimination Chamber match. Wade Barrett competes with another Chamber participant, Kofi Kingston, next! WADE BARRETT DEFEATED KOFI KIGNSTONNext Sunday, exclusively on pay per view, these two young superstars will get the opportunity of a lifetime when they enter the Elimination Chamber with a chance at becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Here tonight they faced off with momentum on the line in a bout that pitted strength against agility much to the delight of the fans. A fast paced match ensued with plenty of back and forth action, Barrett managing to dodge the Trouble in Paradise and connect with Wasteland to walk away the victor.COMMERCIAL BREAKWe cut backstage to the locker room area, Jack Swagger preparing for tonight’s match. His tag team partner for the bout, Alberto Del Rio, walks into the room, angry that Swagger somehow managed to drag him into his problems with Rey Mysterio despite the facts that he’s beaten Mysterio time and time again. Swagger gets in Del Rio’s face, reminding him that Del Rio only qualified for the Elimination chamber because he got involved and helped him against Rey Mysterio. The two look close to coming to blows but Swagger reminds him that they have to work together tonight unless they want to lose to Edge & Rey Mysterio. Del Rio agrees, but warns Swagger that once all is said and done, he’ll be coming after Swagger. Del Rio leaves, Swagger just shaking his head as we return to ringside. DREW MCINTYRE DEFEATED KANEDrew McIntyre’s recent impressive run of form continued tonight against the big red machine but it didn’t come without a little bit of help. Coming into this match Drew McIntyre has had some unwanted assistance from Vickie Guerrero and yet again she made an appearance just when McIntyre needed the help most. As Kane prepared to deliver a match ending chokeslam Vickie Guerrero got on the apron, distracting the referee. In a more shocking moment Tyler Reks appeared, knocking Kane out with a big boot and allowing McIntyre to hit the Future Shock for the pinfall victory.Following the match Drew McIntyre made a quick exit as Tyler Reks once again entered the ring. On the outside Drew once again turned away Vickie Guerrero, telling her he didn’t need her help and storming backstage. Inside the ring Reks lifted Kane onto his feet and in a monstrous display of power, lifting him above his head and dropping him down with the Burning Hammer. Reks stood tall over Kane for the second week in a row, the entire WWE Universe in shock at this monstrous display of strength. COMMERCIAL BREAKAs we return to SmackDown a video package airs highlighting the September 24th episode of SmackDown where Christian was taken out of action by Alberto Del Rio. It moves on to an inverview with Christian saying that the past four months have been some of the hardest of his life because he hasn’t been able to do what he loved and that is all down to Alberto Del Rio. Christian pledges to come back and take Del Rio out. It skips to the Royal Rumble pay per view where Christian made his return, eliminating Del Rio from the Royal Rumble match. It ends with Christian standing over Del Rio. Christian returns... now! ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH CHRISTIAN DEFEATED CURT HAWKINSChristian is back, and he isn’t pulling any punches. While this may have been a huge opportunity for young superstar Curt Hawkins there was no doubt everybody was focused on the SmackDown in ring return of Captain Charisma and it looks like he hasn’t lost a step since he’s been out. Coming into this match fully fired up Christian outwrestled Hawkins and showed exactly why the fans love him as he put him away with the Killswitch to take a huge victory in his first singles match back. COMMERCIAL BREAKWe return to ringside and the music of former world champion Diesel, who made his presence known last week ‘accidentally’ costing Big Show his Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Diesel hits the ring and is handed a microphone. He says it feels damn good to be back in a WWE ring where he belongs, where the real men fight it out. Diesel says that he’s been gone a long time, fifteen years to be exact, but he’s as good and as strong as ever. He says that he made his name as the best big man in the business, but since he left somebody has been trying to take that name from him, which is why he’d like to call the Big Show out right now. Big Show enters out onto the ramp and walks down to the ring. Show and Diesel go toe to toe in a very scary sight of two gigantic men staring each other down. Diesel says that he came back to the WWE because he wanted to prove he was the best big man and he knows better than anybody that to prove something in this business you have to get in the ring and damn well prove it, which is why he wants to challenge Big Show to a match one on one at the Elimination Chamber pay per view. Big Show takes the microphone and says thanks to Diesel’s appearance last week he hasn’t got anything to do at the pay per view, so why not. Diesel offers his hand to make it official and while it takes a few seconds Big Show shakes it, and this match is on! Big Show and Diesel square up to each other in the ring as we cut away. We cut backstage to a split screen view of the hallway. On one side is Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio, on the other is World Heavyweight Champion Edge & Rey Mysterio. The two teams go one on one, next! COMMERCIAL BREAKJACK SWAGGER & ALBERTO DEL RIO DEFEATED WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION EDGE & REY MYSTERIOJack Swagger planned on sending a message to the WWE Universe – do not underestimate me. Here tonight on SmackDown he sent that message loud and clear as he teamed up with Alberto Del Rio against World Heavyweight Champion Edge and his Elimination Chamber opponent Rey Mysterio. Having held the tag team titles before Edge & Mysterio were of course experienced in working together and that very much gave them the advantage in this match however the cheap tactics of Swagger & Del Rio constantly kept them in the match. In the end a wild brawl broke out and while the referee was trying to separate Del Rio and Mysterio, who were not the legal men, Swagger proceeded to nail Edge with the World Heavyweight Championship and steal a pinfall victory.Jack Swagger screams that he just pinned the World Heavyweight Champion when suddenly Rey Mysterio dropkicks him from behind, sending him straight onto the middle rope. Mysterio goes for the 619 but at the last second Swagger ducks down and rolls out of the ring. Mysterio spins back into the ring and nails Del Rio, who was waiting in the middle of the ring, with a dropkick to the knee. Del Rio stumbles forwards onto the middle rope and Mysterio proceeds to nail him with the 619, Del Rio staggering backwards right into the Spear from Edge. Jack Swagger backs up the ramp grinning at Del Rio’s bad luck as Rey Mysterio and Edge stare him down, both having a very clear problem with the 2011 Royal Rumble winner as SmackDown goes off the air.
