Raw Superstars Taping Results: 1. Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty def. Primo and Darren Young (with A.J.) with a Senton on Young. 2. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) def. Justin Gabriel with the Dream Street.
WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW @ Nashville, TN. on January 10, 2011
Michael Cole, CM Punk and Scott Stanford welcome us to the show tonight and Cole introduces those of us who are unfamiliar with Scott Stanford. Cole says that Stanford is Jerry Lawler's replacement and that Scott should be thanking him for giving him the time of day, let alone wanting to call Raw with him each week. Scott seems taken aback by Cole's words, but he opts to ignore them and move on with the show..
The music of the new Raw General Manager, John Bradshaw Layfield begins to play as the limousine pulls into the arena. Once parked, 2 men wearing full bodysuits and riot helmets appear and open the door as Layfield steps out, waving to the booing crowd. Layfield is followed to the ring by the 2 masked men (who are apparently the same men who helped Michael Cole beat Jerry Lawler) and they stand behind him once in the ring. Layfield thanks the crowd for the warm welcome and tells them that Monday Night Raw is the home of John Bradshaw Layfield and he calls the shots around here. He tells us that the 2 men behind him are here to ensure that nobody tries to take advantage of a retired wrestler like him, and last week they were given the orders of taking Jerry Lawler out and banishing him from Raw. Rather than simply firing him, he thought it would be better personal entertainment to see Lawler laid out in the centre of the ring and his good buddy Michael Cole to pin him 1-2-3. The music of the WWE Champion, The Miz hits and he comes to the ring with his Personal Assistant, Alex Riley. Once in the ring, Miz tells Layfield that Raw is not the home of J.B.L - but is the home of the most awesome WWE Superstar, the one and only Miz! He says that all of the attention on Raw should be focused on him because he is the most "must see WWE Champion in history." JBL smirks and tells The Miz that, while he has been impressed with him recently, he is wrong about just one thing. Raw is JBL's house and to prove it, he's booking The Miz in a match. Considering that tonight's card is full, it'll have to wait until next week, but on that night The Miz will face John Cena in a non-title match! Miz is furious, but he gets even more upset when JBL adds that if Cena wins, he'll earn a WWE Title shot on the following Raw!
Commercial Break Melina def. A.J. (with Primo) and Gail Kim Divas Champion Natalya was on commentary during this match and for a women’s match, it delivered. These are three of the best on the roster and together, they have good chemistry. Melina focused on the smaller AJ, but AJ fought back with some impressive offense. Kim hit AJ with the Eat Defeat but before she could cover, Melina attacked Kim and locked in the California Dream to get the submission victory! Melina is quick to leave the ring and take a microphone from ringside and stand at the commentator's table, where Natalya is seated with the Divas Championship. Melina tells Natalya that what she just witnessed was her proving to the WWE Universe that Natalya isn't the only Diva in the WWE who can make someone else tap out. Melina challenges Natalya to a Submission Match at the Royal Rumble for the Divas Championship so that she can prove to the entire world that Melina is the Queen of Submissions! Natalya accepts the challenge before raising her title up above her as Melina eyes it up. Commercial Break William Regal is shown walking down the hallway when the U.S Champion, Daniel Bryan appears with The Bella Twins on either arm. Bryan tells Regal he's been looking for him for awhile now and that he's gonna be in his corner tonight to make sure Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews don't try anything sneeky. Regal assures Bryan that he'll be fine and he should hit the town with Brie and Nikki and have a good time. Bryan is cautious, but he ultimately agrees before wishing Regal luck and Regal heads off. Brie seems worried about Regal going out alone, but Nikki wants nothing more than to hit the town and she drags Bryan and Brie away towards the exit. Tyson Kidd (with Jackson Andrews) def. William Regal These are two of the WWE’s top technical wrestlers and they showed that off here. Each man tried to apply their trademark submissions, but both moves got reversed. Regal went for the Knee Trembler, but Kidd dodged it and hit a pretty German suplex for a near fall. He got on the apron and went for the springboard elbow, but Regal moved out of the way. He tried for the Knee Trembler again, but Kidd again dodged it, this time by sweeping Regal’s leg. He then locked in the Sharpshooter and Regal was forced to submit. Jackson Andrews shoves the referee aside and raises Kidd's hand before Kidd orders Jackson to attack Regal. The attack commences with Andrews firing away at Regal with some wicked shots to the head. Andrews proceeded to pick Regal up and nail a pull-in clothesline before laying him out with a Two-Handed Chokeslam! Kidd and Andrews leave the ring, happy with their work. Commercial Break Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater are backstage talking about Slater's match with "A-List" David Otunga later tonight. Gabriel is trying to calm Slater down as Otunga himself makes an appearance. Slater stands up and begins to tell Otunga about them having to square off. Otunga tells Slater that he already heard and that J.B.L is abusing his power for his own entertainment. Otunga promises Slater that when they go out their tonight, he will lie down in the centre of the ring for Slater because the last thing he wants to do is fight his friend. Randy Orton def. SheamusIn the first hour main event, Randy Orton met with Sheamus in a match that as noted by Scott Stanford, John Bradshaw Layfield is keeping a close eye on. Both men battled the entire match, exchanging control of the match with the 2010 King of the Ring Sheamus dominating Orton late into the match, attempting the Brogue Kick but Orton got out of the way and Sheamus' leg got tangled up in the ropes. Once free, Sheamus turned around and walked right into the RKO which brought this one to an end. As Orton celebrates his victory, Sheamus is furious in the ring as he didn't live up to tonight being the start to 2011 being the third consecutive year in the WWE where he has dominated. Sheamus proceeds to kick the steel steps at ringside. Commercial Break To open hour two of Raw tonight, we are joined by John Cena. He gets in the ring and is handed a microphone. Cena begins to talk about this past summer when the Nexus first began and they attacked him. Over the next few months, his life was made into a living hell because of Wade Barrett and the Nexus. They cost him the WWE Championship, they forced him to join them and they had him fired. He managed to find his way back to the WWE though and now at the Royal Rumble, he will finally put an end to Wade Barrett. This causes Barrett to come to the ring, flanked by Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris. He gets right in Cena’s face and tells him that he doesn’t have to wait until the Rumble, he can try to take him out right now. Cena smirks and says that he’ll be patient because if he hits Barrett and gets suspended then he gets no match at the Rumble. Barrett continues to try and goad Cena into hitting him by calling him a coward, but Cena won’t budge. Barrett gets frustrated and sends Harris and McGillicutty to attack. Cena fights them off, but they seem to have the advantage. That’s short lived though as Cena overpowers them and tosses Harris out of the ring. He then hits McGillicutty with the Attitude Adjustment. Barrett is furious and Cena has a big smile before telling Barrett that he can’t see him and walking off. Commercial Break Ashley Valence is backstage with John Morrison ahead of his main event match with Wade Barrett. Morrison tells Ashley that tonight, Wade Barrett is just a stepping stone in his path towards capturing the WWE Championship for the first time in his career. WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos (with Tamina) in a non-title match to qualify for the 2011 Royal RumbleTamina and Santino's relationship really came into play here tonight as the daughter of Jimmy Snuka couldn't help but take her eyes off Santino, and he struggled to do the same with her! As the match moved on, Kozlov spent most of the match fighting with Jimmy and Jey - who were both clearly distracted by Tamina's interest in Marella. As Jimmy and Jey continued yelling at her to back away from Santino, Tamina finally had enough and slapped Jey who stumbled around into The Iron Curtain as Santino tackled Jimmy down, stopping him from breaking up the count! Tamina rolls into the ring and hugs Santino before raising the hands of both Marella and Kozlov as Jimmy and Jey recruit at the bottom of the rampay, the pair yelling at Tamina to get with them immediantly! Tamina instead kisses Santino as Jimmy and Jey go nuts. Commercial Break In the back, Tamina is shown talking to 1/2 of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella. Tamina tells Santino that she's scared to go speak with Jimmy and Jey after what happened out there tonight. Ted DiBiase and Maryse appear and the pair are laughing at something. Tamina asks Maryse what the hell she's laughing at and she tells her that the make-up lady just said Tamina and Santino were a cute couple. Maryse claims that her and Ted are not only the hottest couple in WWE history, but they are the hottest couple in the entire world. Tamina slaps Maryse, who falls to the floor before Santino moves in for the Cobra but before he can connect, Ted flinches and falls down also! "A-List" David Otunga def. Heath Slater (with Justin Gabriel) When the bell rings, Otunga lies down for Slater who makes the cover. The referee counts 2 before Otunga kicks out! Slater looks shocked and confused before Otunga grins and almost beheads Slater with a vicious clothesline. Justin Gabriel attempts to interfere, furious at Otunga betraying Slater but the referee ejects Gabriel from ringside! From here on out, Otunga just demonstrated raw power by throwing Slater around the ring like he weighed nothing. Slater began to mount a comeback, but it came to a screeching halt when he ran right into the Verdict and it was all she wrote. Otunga leaves the ring and pulls a pen and paper out of the pocket of his hoodie. He signs the paper "David 'A-List' Otunga" and places it on the chest of Slater as we cut to a break. John Morrison and Wade Barrett are respectively walking to the ring, they meet NEXT! Commercial Break John Morrison def. Wade Barrett Both men in this match are considered to be part of the future of this company. Tonight’s main event proved exactly why as they put on a great showing. During his feud with Sheamus, Morrison showed that he can work with a good big man and it happened again tonight. Barrett dominated the early stages, but Morrison made the heroic comeback as the crowd got behind him. Morrison picked up the victory after a big flurry that included his springboard kick and running knee, but ended with the Starship Pain. WWE Champion, The Miz hits the ring and attempts to clobber JoMo with the title belt, but Morrison ducks it and lays Miz out with a wicked Superkick. Morrison climbs to the top rope and goes for the Starship Pain, but out of nowhere Alex Riley yanks Miz out of the ring but Morrison is able to land on his feet. Miz lies on the rampway with his title clutched to his chest as Morrison taunts him from the ring.[/blockquote]

WWE RAW: Monday 10th January 2011...WWE Superstars sounded like a good show, it seems like you are somewhat bettering the product of Superstars. Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty actually winning? Good win against Darren Young and Primo, and a nice win for Ted Dibiase against Justin Gabriel, I must say. Hopefully Gabriel isn't lost on RAW. John Bradshaw Layfield in the ring first was likely as he is the new General Manager of RAW. I'm looking forward to what we have tonight, since he never actually revealed it. I like the opposition between JBL and Miz though. The Miz facing John Cena...perhaps in two weeks. Also known as the RAW before the Royal Rumble? I doubt he'll get that. I'd have saved this promo for next week though, since Layfield didn't exactly promote tonight, moreso next week. Melina beating AJ and Gail Kim is nice, like Melina just showing off to the WWE Divas Champion Natalya. Natalya has been on commentary a lot recently. Looking forward to this submission match though, it's unorthodox for divas. William Regal hopefully one day steals the WWE United States Championship from Daniel Bryan. Regal as a face is always good, temporarily. Tyson Kidd beating Regal is acceptable, obviously with some involvement from Jackson Andrews. Wow has the mighty fallen: Hell in a Cell match rivals Randy Orton and Sheamus in the first hour main event. Orton winning was nice, was just so not used to seeing this be first hour main event after the wars they've had. John Cena's promo was good, liked Cena overtaking McGillicutty and Harris. Looking forward to Cena facing Wade Barrett for hopefully the last time. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov beating the Usos was exected, good win for the WWE Tag Team Champions. Wish to see Jimmy and Jey in the Royal Rumble match soon anyway. Intrigued by Dibiase and Maryse with Tamina and Santino. David Otunga beating Heath Slater is fine...the Nexus are even being jobbed out when they're breaking up. All but Barrett and Otunga. And maybe McGillicutty and Harris. John Morrison and Wade Barrett was a good match, nice finish and ending with Morrison standing tall. I just somewhat think that Orton and Sheamus should have main evented, better star power. A decent episode, with some booking flaws.

SmackDown Superstars Taping Results: 1. Kaval def. Chavo Guerrero with the Warrior's Way. 2. David Hart Smith def. Joseph Mercury with the Running Powerslam.
WWE SMACKDOWN @ Birmingham, AL. on January 14, 2011
Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring to open the show as his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez introduces him to the Birmingham crowd. Once Alberto has made his grand entrance, he immediately begins to brag about beating Rey Mysterio and Big Show last week to rightfully earn himself the opportunity to face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 30! Del Rio says that since debuting here on SmackDown, he has beaten all of the top WWE Superstars including Rey Mysterio multiple times, John Cena a few weeks ago and last week he beat both Rey and Big Show. Del Rio predicts that come the Royal Rumble, he will walk out the new World Heavyweight Champion. The theme of Edge hits and he comes out with his championship slung over his shoulder. Once inside the ring, Edge has a microphone and tells Del Rio that it's going to take alot more than an Armbar to take his championship from him. Del Rio and Edge have a war of words until the SmackDown General Manager, Theodre Long swaggers to the ring. Teddy tells both men that he can see that they want a piece of each other before the Royal Rumble in 16 days, so tonight in the main event it will be Alberto Del Rio teaming up with Kane to take on the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge and Rey Mysterio!
WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov are shown walking with Tamina and Kofi Kingston as we cut to a break..
Commercial Break "Dashing" Cody Rhodes and The Dudebusters (Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta) def. Kofi Kingston and WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov (with Tamina) After getting hit with Trouble in Paradise last week, Rhodes came to the ring wearing a facemask. He made sure not to get hit in the face throughout this contest and left most of the in-ring action to The Dudebusters. Their interactions with Santino and Kozlov were good as they showed solid chemistry together. Kingston got a tag near the end and came in on fire, nailing all three of his opponents with shots. He was clipped with a chop block from Rhodes though and he had to tag Santino. As the referee checked on Kingston’s hurt leg, Rhodes nailed Santino with the facemask and covered to win the match. Cody scrambles out of the ring as he re-adjusts his face mask as Hawkins and Barreta meet him at the bottom of the ramp. Tamina attends to Santino with as Curt, Cody and Trent celebrate the win. Commercial Break Jack Swagger is backstage at catering complaining about something. Ezekiel Jackson appears and Swagger immediantly stops talking as the pair go face to face. Swagger asks if Jackson didn't get his message last week - SmackDown is his brand and he won't let guys like Ezekiel come and take over. Jackson grabs ahold of Swagger by the throat, but The Soaring Eagle appears from nowhere and begins clubbing away at the back. Swagger runs away as Zeke slams Eagle through the catering table! Drew McIntyre def. Yoshi Tatsu to qualify for the 2011 Royal RumbleThe energetic Japanese Superstar, Yoshi Tatsu went up against the vicious Scot in Drew McIntyre to see who would be the next SmackDown Superstar to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble on January 30. In his first singles match on SmackDown since signing with the brand at the start of the year, Yoshi really held his own against McIntyre in what proved to be a fantastic bout. Yoshi had control and attempted a Diving Crossbody off the top, but Drew stepped out of the way and Yoshi ate the mat. Drew proceeded to drill Yoshi with the Future Shock for the 1-2-3 and to gain entry to the Rumble. After the match, Drew isn't satisfied with his win and begins to lay into Yoshi with a series of vicious shots to the head. As Drew continues to mount Yoshi, the music of David Hart Smith hits and he comes charging to the ring. Drew is quick to run from the ring and up the ramp as Smith stands on the turnbuckle challenging Drew to come back, but McIntyre continues heading up the ramp! Commercial Break Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler is backstage when Kaitlyn appears. She tells Dolph that although they are on opposite teams tonight, she wants to wish him luck. Dolph smiles but just as he is about to reply we hear "EXCUSE ME!" as Vickie Guerrero appears and tells Kaitlyn to run off before she grabs Dolph's hand and lures him away from Kaitlyn. Todd Grisham is backstage with Drew McIntyre, who looks furious. Drew tells Todd that if David Hart Smith wants to keep poking his nose where it's not wanted, then he will personally take him off the scene! Drew looked intense. Big Show and Kaitlyn def. Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero Big Show, who beat Dolph in a non-title match via count-out a few weeks back, tagged with Kaitlyn to take on Dolph and his girlfriend Vickie Guerrero in a match that thankfully saw Dolph and Show go at it more than Vickie and Kaitlyn did. After a brief scuffle between Kaitlyn and Vickie, the pair ended up back on their respective corners before Kaitlyn was tagged in and she flipped Vickie into the ring before rolling her up the second Vickie got back up! Big Show and Kaitlyn hug as Dolph takes his Intercontinental Championship from ringside, looking jealous at Show and Kaitlyn in the ring. Vickie and Dolph begin to bicker as Kaitlyn waves at Dolph, who cheekily grins. Commercial Break Alberto Del Rio is looking for Kane backstage. After looking in a few rooms, Del Rio finds Kane in the boiler room. Del Rio tells Kane that tonight, they better beat Edge and Rey Mysterio. Kane doesn't seem interested in Del Rio and tells him that "we" don't need to do anything, but "Kane needs to beat Edge and Rey Mysterio" before winning the Royal Rumble match. Kane walks past Del Rio, leaving Alberto looking confused at what Kane's problem is. Ezekiel Jackson def. Tyler Reks Since his debut on SmackDown, Reks has been a bit of a monster, ripping through his competition at times. Tonight though, he was at a considerable size disadvantage and Jackson used that to gain the upper hand. Though Jackson couldn’t dominate like he usually does, he still managed to hit his signature moves and win after planting Reks with the Book of Ezekiel. Edge is shown putting his kickpads on when Rey Mysterio enters the room. Rey stands up and shakes hands with Edge and Edge asks him if he's ready to take on Kane and Alberto. Rey tells Edge that he was born ready and the pair begin to reminisce about their times as a team in the past. Commercial Break Michelle McCool and Layla come to the ring and they begin to poke fun at Beth Phoenix ahead of their 2-on-1 No Disqualifications match against Phoenix. After a few minutes of taunting and making fun of her, the music of Beth begins to play as she comes charging down to the ring with a broomstick as Lay-Cool scatter to the floor. Beth holds up the broomstick and tells Layla and Michelle that they will be very familiar with her weapon of choice as it is their mode of transport! Beth rolls out of the ring and the bell rings.. Beth Phoenix def. Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool) in a No Disqualification matchFor the past few months now, the WWE Diva's have really tried to smash all the views on them not being tough and just "eye candy". These 3 and the Divas Champion, Natalya competed in the first ever Divas Table Match and now tonight Lay-Cool and Beth went at it in a No Disqualification match that saw alot of weapons brought into play. Lay-Cool, who are easily the most heated Divas on both Raw and SmackDown, had the numbers advantage and that allowed them to keep control of the match. However, the raw power of the Glamazon helped her fight back and take Layla and Michelle down with a series of clothesline and backdrops. Layla attempted to hit Beth with a broomstick, but she missed and hit Michelle and knocked her to the floor outside. As Layla looked on stunned, Beth grabbed Layla and drilled her with the Glam Slam for the 1-2-3. Beth celebrates her victory, finally bringing her feud with Layla and Michelle to an end after almost a year at each others throats. Commercial Break World Heavyweight Champion, Edge and Rey Mysterio def. Alberto Del Rio and Kane This match involved the four guys at the very top of the card on SmackDown and they showed just why they are up there. They work great together and it made for an awesome main event. Del Rio and Kane did a great job of cutting the ring in half and beating on Rey. Of course, everybody’s favorite underdog rallied and managed to make the hot tag to Edge. The World Champion came in and did the usual, nailing the heels with some of his signature moves. Eventually, he downed Kane with the Edgecution and began to prepare for the Spear. Once Kane got up Edge drills him with the Spear. He then tags in Rey who hits his Springboard Splash which proved enough for the 3! Del Rio stands at ringside looking annoyed at Kane as Edge and Rey celebrate their win, proving that they can still work well as a team and their past experience as a team helped them get the win tonight. Del Rio storms up the ramp, yelling at Edge that it's not over![/blockquote]

-A typical promo. The tag team main event should be pretty good. -A Dudebusters push, greatness! Hope you plan this one right. -McIntyre over Tatsu was the right call, hope that McIntyre gets a decent run in RR. -Big Show and Kaitlyn winning is fine, could set up a IC Title Match at RR or so. -Jackson and Reks seems like a pretty powerful match. Jackson winning was good. -Beth over Lay-Cool was realistic though it makes them look weak. -Edge and Rey Mysterio winning is fine either way. Some good stuff there. -Good show; some basic advantage towards RR.

Raw Superstars Taping Results: 1. Goldust def. Zack Ryder with the Curtain Call. 2. R-Truth, Primo and Eve (with A.J.) def. The Usos and Tamina with the Lie Detector when Tamina left The Usos.
WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW @ Little Rock, AR. on January 17, 2011
Following the opening Raw video, Michael Cole, CM Punk and Scott Stanford are at the announce table to welcome us all to the show from Little Rock, Arkansas!
WWE Champion, The Miz comes swaggering to the ring along with his protégé, Alex Riley. Once in the ring, Miz takes a microphone and says that he reliases the crowd are more than happy to see him, but he would like them to settle down as he has a few words to say. Miz says that him and John Morrison go way back, way back to the days of when they held both the World Tag Team Championships and the WWE Tag Team Championships. 3 years on and The Miz is at the top of the WWE as the reigning and defending WWE Champion, while John Morrison is still trying to find his feet since he attacked him on the night of the 2009 Draft when he came to Raw. After continuing to put down Morrison, eventually the music of JoMo hits the ring. Once Morrison slides into the ring, Miz shoves Riley towards Morrison as he rolls out of the ring while Riley stumbles right into a Superkick from Morrison. Miz backs up the ramp, mocking Morrison until John Cena's music hits and Miz trips. Cena grabs Miz and runs down the ramp with him, rolling him into the ring! Miz tries to back away from Cena, but he bangs into Morrison. Miz, now trapped between Morrison and Cena, attempts to run away but Cena nails a wicked right hand that spins Miz around, allowing Morrison to hit the Moonlight Drive! Cena and Morrison embrace before working the crowd.
Commercial Break Ted DiBiase is with Maryse in the back, complaining to John Bradshaw Layfield about how he is still waiting on finding how who his opponent will be tonight. Layfield tells DiBiase that he has an opponent scheduled for him and that maybe he should turn around. A cocky DiBiase turns around, only to stumble around out of fright as The Great Khali is standing there! DiBiase and Maryse bail as Khali chuckles to himself. Divas Champion, Natalya and Gail Kim def. Melina and Alicia Fox Divas Champion, Natalya tagged with the high-flying Gail Kim to take on the women who will challenge her for the title in a Submission Match at the Royal Rumble, Melina and her partner Alicia Fox. Melina repeatedly attempted to sync in the California Dream on Gail and Natalya, but the pair fought it off. In the end, Alicia ran right into a wicked Discus Clothesline from Natalya before she locked in the Sharpshooter and Fox tapped. Melina attacks Alicia afterwards, locking the California Dream in on her partner as Alicia taps out! Commercial Break Ashley Valence is backstage with Randy Orton. Valence asks Orton about the Royal Rumble match on January 30. Orton tells Vaand he plans on winning a second Rumble when he eliminates 29 other Superstars to earn himself a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania XXVII. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) def. The Great Khali (with Ranjin Singh) to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble matchIn his return match to Raw, The Great Khali dominated DiBiase for the majority of this match. DiBiase put up a fight, but it just wasn't enough as Khali laid into him with a series of nasty-sounding chops to the chest. When it looked like Khali was about to attempt the Vice Grip, Maryse hopped onto the apron and began to kiss Khali! Maryse got off the apron, but Khali followed her and chased her up the ramp, giving DiBiase the count-out victory! The Miz is backstage in JBL's office along with Alex Riley. Miz is holding the back of his neck and he is ranting to Layfield about being attacked by both John Morrison and John Cena earlier on in the show. Miz demands that both Morrison and Cena be fired on the spot tonight. After a few moments of silence, Layfield stands up from behind his desk and tells Miz to shut his mouth and get the hell out of his office and go get ready for his match with Cena later tonight! An irate Miz storms out.. Commercial Break The WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov are backstage talking when we see Tamina sneaking up behind them. Before Marella and Kozlov notice Tamina, Jimmy and Jey Uso rush up and grab Tamina and pull her away! Randy Orton def. Husky Harris Some people might have expected a squash here, but Harris put up one hell of a fight. It seems like McGillicutty and Harris are not going to be pushovers as 2011 has shown them in some very close matches. Orton still controlled the majority of the match, but Harris showed life when he blocked the rope hung DDT and pushed Orton into the corner. Once there, he leveled him with some big shots and used his size advantage to gain the upper hand. He missed his signature senton splash, which was the opening Orton needed. He stalked him and once he got up, nailed him with an RKO to end it. "A-List" David Otunga is shown walking into the arena looking formal in a suit. Suddenly, we hear yelling as Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater come charging at Otunga but mass security spill between the trio, as Gabriel and Slater try to attack Otunga by fighting through the security. Otunga taunts the pair before having second thoughts about staying at the show as he leaves the arena and gets in a nearby limo that speeds off. Commercial Break Maryse is shown running down the hallway screaming as we then see The Great Khali walking after her, still obviously interested in her after she kissed him to help Ted DiBiase win his match. Out of nowhere, DiBiase blindsides Khali and begins to fire away at him but Khali lays him out with a chop! As DiBiase holds his head on the floor, Maryse attempts to attend to him but Khali scoops her up and carries her off as she screams in French! Sheamus def. Darren Young to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble matchOver the past few weeks, Sheamus has more than made it clear that he will win the 2011 Royal Rumble and he made quick work of step one tonight. Young got in a few shots, but this was basically all Sheamus. He pretty much dominated from start to finish and put down Young with the Brogue Kick. Post match, Sheamus wasn’t done with Darren Young. He lifted him up and dropped him with Pale Justice. He shouted something about Orton being the next one to feel the wrath of Sheamus. Commercial Break When we return from the commercial, Tyson Kidd is in the ring with Jackson Andrews. Kidd takes the microphone and calls out Daniel Bryan, asking him where his good friend William Regal is tonight. The United States Champion, Daniel Bryan comes out with The Bella Twins. Bryan tells Kidd that last week, him and Andrews may have taken Regal out, but that didn't stop him finding a tag partner. Suddenly, Mark Henry's music hits and him and Bryan walk to the ring.. Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews def. U.S Champion, Daniel Bryan and Mark Henry (with The Bella Twins) Mark Henry was clearly chosen by Daniel Bryan as his answer to combat the massive Jackson Andrews. Bryan and Kidd really went at it, the pair exchanging a series of wicked kicks to each other's chest with both men telling the other to give them "more". Henry got the tag in and took Kidd down with some powerful clothesline and throws until Andrews entered the ring and it was obvious that Henry would have more trouble dealing with Andrews than he did with Kidd. Andrews eventually laid Henry out with a Big Boot before tagging in Kidd, who entered the ring and hit Henry with The Code Blue for the win. Nikki Bella showed an interest in Tyson from outside as she admired him while Brie, Bryan and Henry stood in the ring. The Miz is backstage with his WWE Championship, his protégé Alex Riley and the interviewer, Ashley Valence. Miz tells Ashley that it's him against not only the WWE Universe - but the entire lockerroom. Miz says that the way he was treated by JBL, John Cena and John Morrison was a disgrace. Miz says that tonight he's going to take John Cena out once and for all. Commercial Break WWE Champion, The Miz (with Alex Riley) vs. John Cena ends in a No ContestUnlike their series of matches two years ago when The Miz first called out Cena, this was not a one-sided affair. Miz showed just how much he’s improved when he took it to Cena early on with a flurry of offense. Cena weathered the storm and made his heroic comeback near the end, beginning with two big shoulder blocks. He then hit a back suplex, followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Wade Barrett suddenly rushed out to the ring and leveled the referee in the back. Cena didn’t see this as he was stalking Miz. Miz got up and was met with the Attitude Adjustment. He covered but the referee was down. Cena got up and woke up the official. Miz began to stir, so Cena nailed him with a second Attitude Adjustment! He covers, but instead of counting the three, the referee called for the bell, resulting in a no contest due to being attacked. Barrett backed up the ramp with a smile on his face as Cena was clearly frustrated in the ring. The crowd was disappointed as Cena was so close to earning a title shot next week.

I like the two RAW Superstars contests for this week, both of them are very good choices. I see that this show has the vintage Jord layout, haha! Not neccasarily a bad thing, but I was liking the old layout. I love that you have Stanford at the announce desk, I honestly feel he's the best announcer in the WWE at the moment. The opening promo and the chaos that ensued was great, I love seeing JoMo get the upper hand over Miz, even if I know he hasn't a cat's chance in hell of beating him at the Rumble. Great way to kick off the show. A nice backstage seg between DiBiase, Layfield and Khali. I see Ted winning however, which makes it a tad predictable. I like how you have Melina bringing back a submission to combat the Sharpshooter, feel she could've benefitted from beating Kim with it tbh. Let me take that back, as the aftermath did just that, great way to make both Divas look strong! Woah, Woah, Woah, have you forgotten 2009 guys?! Orton won the Rumble then!!! Teddy Jr winning was expected, though the way he did was great, good booking! I like how Layfield tells Miz to grow a set, and get ready for Cena later in the night! JoMo / Riley is expected tonight if I'm honest. The Usos taking back Tamina before she gets to Santino is funny! I like it, and I like the direction you're going with her. Husky putting a fight up before losing is good for him, makes him seem credible. Otunga feuding with Wendy and Lambert? Could be fun! I like him climbing in a limo and getting out of there, nice touch. I like how you're following up on things as well, even small things like the Khali/Maryse thing, it's fun to see. Khali feuding with Ted could be good for both, we may actually see some personality from him now, then again, I thought that about him and Goldust. Either way, we shall see. Sheamus squashing Darren Young is good for him, but Young I feel bad for. Nexus Jobber, then RAW Jobber, haha! Orton vs. Sheamus again? Please no! ¬_¬ It'd be awful! I like how Bryan got Henry to take Regal's place, but it still wasn't enough. The whole Bella taking interest in current man's rival is always fun to see, and Tyson in a United States Championship feud is great, and something I would love to book in a 2011 if I'm honest! Nice booking with Wade getting in Cena's head by costing him victories, and the ending kept both men in the match looking stong. I am glad Cena didn't get a title shot next week as well, as Miz going over him now would've been too soon imo. Overall, this show was great, and I cannot say enough good things about this diary, really enjoying reading it, and it deserves the spotlight completely! You two work well in splits, and so I want you both to keep this up!

That Orton comment about not winning a Rumble was my mistake. I completely forgot about him winning the 2009 match. Thanks for the reply, Shifty.

-The Cena and Miz match tonight should be good. Hope Morrison and Miz isn't typical at RR. Looking forward to tonight's main event. -Natalya and Gail winning was expected. Hope to see Kim, RAW's most underrated diva makes a run for the title. -Ted over Khali was the right call from the biggest Ted DiBiase fan I know, (Kev) the right call here still. -Randy Orton and Husky Harris sounds like a decent match here. Glad that Husky has almost won. -Sheamus over Young was expected. I really hope you start to push Young. -Some great hype for the US Championship Match at Royal Rumble. I'm fans of both so it doesn't matter who wins. -A very contreversial call here, the only way I seen him not getting the spot. Not a good year for him so far, but hopefully it turns around soon. -Good show; by the way, will it be 40 man now?

Fine opening segment between Morrison and Miz. Didn’t seem to be all that special. Glad to see that DiBiase won his match against Khali, even if it was by count-out. Hopefully DiBiase can be given some kind of push. Everything leading into the main event seemed to be pretty predictable and simple, for the most part. Figured the main event would have a screw job but it does a fine job to advance Barrett/Cena leading into the Rumble. A average RAW that seemed to be kind of boring to be honest.

SmackDown Superstars Taping Results: 1. JTG def. Joseph Mercury with Da Shout Out to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble match. 2. The Dudebusters def. Yoshi Tatsu and Kaval by rolling up Yoshi and grabbing a handful of tights.
WWE SMACKDOWN @ Tulsa, OK. on January 21, 2011
Matt Striker and Josh Matthews are sitting at the announcer's booth to welcome us to the show. Before they rundown the card, the pair announce that the SmackDown General Manager, Theodre Long will be coming to the ring for a special announcement. The theme of Long hits and he comes down the rampway to a good reaction. Once in the ring, Long says that SmackDown is not only the most entertaining brand in the WWE but it is the most exciting show on cable television today. Long says that for the past few weeks he has brought over guys from Raw and tonight is no different. Long introduces Jerry "The King" Lawler as the latest addition to the SmackDown roster and will sit with Matt Striker and Josh Matthews to call all of the action here on Friday nights. Lawler hugs Long and thanks him for the opportunity here on SmackDown. Suddenly, a Rolls Royce pulls into the arena and Alberto Del Rio exits and he enters the ring. He tells Theodre that tonight is a big night for him as tonight he will finally prove to the world that he is capable of beating Edge, 1-2-3 in the centre of the ring. Del Rio then tells Jerry Lawler that SmackDown is his brand and if he thinks he can just waltz down the rampway and claim his spot then he will have to earn it. Lawler tells Del Rio that he is sick of tuning into SmackDown every Friday night to see him running his mouth week in and week out and that now he reliases he's even worse to listen to in person. Lawler tells Del Rio he will take great pleasure in throwing his ass out the ring and sending him and his car packing. Del Rio suddenly whacks Lawler with his microphone and takes of his suit jacket before repeatedly firing away at him with stiff shots to the head. Del Rio stomps away at Lawler as Teddy tries to break them up, but Alberto shoves him aside. The World Heavyweight Champion, Edge comes charging to the ring and Del Rio thinks twice about staying as he bails and cockily swaggers up the ramp!
Commercial Break David Hart Smith def. Chavo Guerrero In our opening contest, we had a battle of pro wrestling legacies here as David Hart Smith went up against Chavo Guerrero in whta was actually a highly competitive contest. Guerrero put up one hell of a fight, really taking the fight to Smith and almost getting the win on numerous occassions. Chavo attempted a Suplex to Smith, but Smith repeatedly blocked it before attempting a Suplex of his own but stalling it. While Chavo was hoisted in the air mid-Suplex, David dropped Chavo onto his shoulder and hit a Running Powerslam for the 1-2-3. Smith celebrates his win as Drew McIntyre rolls into the ring and attempts to attack Smith, but Smith ducks it and proceeds to clothesline McIntyre over and out of the ring! Drew thinks twice about re-entering the ring and instead makes his way up the ramp as Smith stands on the middle rope, welcoming Drew back to the ring. Commercial Break Theodre Long is in his office backstage when Kane comes barging in. Kane complains to Long about not being featured on the show tonight. Long tells Kane that he has to reliase that sometimes guys in the back have to take a backseat to the younger Superstars. Long says that Kane can face the next guy to walk through the office door. After a few moments, Chris Masters comes in. Kane tells Masters he'll see him later tonight, leaving Masters confused. Jack Swagger is warming up when Todd Grisham approaches him. Swagger tells Todd that Ezekiel Jackson has no idea what he's gotten himself into when he messed with The All American American. Swagger then says that he's trying to warm up before his big main event match and the last thing he wants to do is talk to Todd. Big Show def. Tyler Reks Tyler Reks has reinvented himself as being a powerhouse over the past few months, being featured more prominently on Superstars than he has been here on SmackDown, however, tonight Reks faced off someone who has dominated the entire WWE since the late 1990's - Big Show. Reks held his own in the early going, giving it everything he had to try and take Show down but he was unsuccessful and Show just launched the X-factor of the WWE around like he weighed nothing. After nailing a Suplex, Show waited on Reks to get up and turn around right into a wicked Showstopper for the 1-2-3. Commercial Break Todd Grisham is standing in the back with "Dashing" Cody Rhodes who is still wearing his facemask. Rhodes tells Grisham that Kofi Kingston nearly completely ruined his dashing good looks and that he has no choice but to wear this protective facemask. Rhodes swears to gain a measure of revenge on Kofi. Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler (with Vickie Guerrero) vs. Rey Mysterio ends in a Time Limit Draw; both men qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble matchDuring the summer of 2009, Ziggler and Mysterio met in a series of great matches over the Intercontinental Title. This one was about qualifying for the 2011 Royal Rumble though, and was just as great as their previous encounters. Ziggler held serve during the early portions of the match, but Rey fought back behind the roars of the WWE Universe. He connected with the 619, followed by a splash, but Ziggler managed to get his foot on the bottom rope. Rey picked up Ziggler and went to send him off the ropes, but Ziggler reversed it and locked in the Sleeper Hold. Rey began to fade, but after having his arm drop twice, he held it up the third time. He then began to elbow his way out of the hold and sent Ziggler off the ropes. Rey ran and they collided when they both tried cross bodies. The bell rang as both men were on the mat. The crowd is confused until both men get up. Tony Chimel announces that the match reached its ten minute time limit. Theodore Long’s music hits as he comes to the stage. He says that he was very impressed by the performances of both men tonight. He calls the match one of the best in recent SmackDown history and as a reward, both Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler will now be in the 2011 Royal Rumble! The crowd likes this as Rey offers Dolph a handshake. Surprisingly, Dolph accepts it as Vickie looks on, obviously upset about the handshake. Commercial Break Todd Grisham is with Edge backstage. Edge has his World Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder and he doesn't look happy. Edge says that Alberto Del Rio thinks he can just attack whoever he wants and that he is going to put a stop to that not at the Royal Rumble, but TONIGHT! Dolph Ziggler is shown sitting on a chair unwrapping his wrist tape when Kaitlyn comes up to him. Kaitlyn tells Dolph that she is proud of how he handled the post-match situation with Rey Mysterio by shaking hands and that she is really liking the new him and his new attitude. Dolph thanks Kaitlyn when we hear screeching and Vickie Guerrero comes storming up. She says she's had enough of Kaitlyn and swings for a slap but Kaitlyn blocks it and dishes out a slap of her own, knocking Vickie down! Kaitlyn walks off as Vickie shrieks. Kane def. Chris Masters Despite Kane being in a foul mood, Masters did not back down at all. He came at Kane with some heavy offense early on, but Kane weathered the storm and began to dominate. He hit multiple throat thrusts in the corner, followed by a foot choke. In the end, he went for a Chokeslam, but Masters blocked it and tried to lock in the Masterlock. He couldn’t grip it though and Kane backed him into the corner. Kane turned and hit him with a Tombstone to pick up the win. Natalya is shown walking through the hallway when she stops next to David Hart Smith. The pair smile at each other and Smith wishes Natalya luck before she thanks him and continues to walk down the hall. Commercial Break Divas Champion, Natalya def. Michelle McCool (with Layla) and Beth PhoenixWith this match featuring three of the best female workers on the roster; it was one of the best Divas matches in recent memory. Early on, Beth and Natalya worked over McCool, as they’ve both had issues with her over the past few months. Eventually, Natalya and Beth began to go at it, which made for some exciting TV as it’s a match we’ve yet to witness. McCool interjected and Beth got knocked to the outside. Shortly thereafter, Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter and forced McCool to tap out. The announcers put over how Natalya has just made a statement heading into her Submission match at the Royal Rumble against Melina. Commercial Break Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes (with Ricardo Rodriguez) def. World Heavyweight Champion, Edge, Kofi Kingston and Ezekiel Jackson 3 of SmackDown's on-going feuds came together in a main event that gave alot of the younger guys their chance to shine here tonight and headline the show. Cody Rhodes was still wearing his facemask and played it up for all of the match by not staying in the ring long and making quick tags. The heels worked over Kofi, who was eventually able to mount a comeback and tag in Ezekiel who just cleared the ring of everyone and even pie-faced Cody down, who freaked out! Alberto jumped Jackson from behind but it didn't do much damage. Alberto attempted to Irish Whip him but he blocked it and Ezekiel instead Irish Whipped Alberto. Alberto ducked Ezekiel's clotheslines and attempted a Running Crossbody but he was caught and received a Fallaway Slam! Jackson tagged in Edge, who was eager to get into the ring. Edge attempted the Spear, but Del Rio was shoved out of harm's way by Ricardo Rodriguez who instead took the fall! As Edge got to his feet, he turned around into a shot from Rhodes with the facemask before Del Rio locked in the Armbar and Edge had no choice but to tap out as Kofi chased Rhodes to the back and Swagger and Jackson battled on the floor!

- Will your Royal Rumble Match be a 40-Man Royal Rumble Match too like how they have changed it up in real life, if it is, then great, but if you keep it at 30 men, also great
