DDT Dramatic Fantasia: WCWA Showcase
Ice Ribbon Arena
Satiama, Japan
April 6th 2006
Dramatic Dream Team of Japan has been gracious enough to invite WCWA to use their television time on their weekly showcase show "Dramatic Fantasia" on Samurai TV to showcase our wrestlers, along with their wrestlers. For this opportunity, we thank DDT and for the connection made, we thank DDT president Michael Nakazawa.
MAIN EVENT
Shenanigans Wrestling Tomfoolery Main Evento!
One on One Match
Danshoku Dino
vs.
Beef Wellington
One man loves hitting other men in the ass. The other is Beef Wellington. In what's sure to bring the comedy style that WCWA brings in America, and DDT has become WELL known for in Japan, the clown prince of WCWA Beef Wellington does battle with the GAY World Anal Champion Danshoku Dino. Someone's anus will likely be hurting by the end of this match, and it's probably not going to be from an Ass Punch.
USA Wrestling Explode!
One on One Match
vs.
Chuck Taylor
American wrestling is strange. Outside of WCWA, if you aren't six foot six and three hundred pounds, you're probably going to have a hard time becoming a star in America. This is the case with Canada's Kenny Omega and rather than flounder in the indies, Omega did as so many other smaller sized wrestlers in the past have done, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, The Dynamite Kid, and traveled to Japan, where he's become one of the aces of DDT. With this showcase match, Omega has a chance to prove to American fans that he can go. He gets former WCWA International champion Chuck Taylor for his chance.
Japan Legend vs. Rookie Monster
One on One Match
MENS Teoh
vs.
Japan's MENS Teoh has etched a path for himself for a lifetime in Japan. In the 90s, Teoh was a part of Kaientai-DX with Taka Michinoku, Dick Togo, and Sho Funaki. The group revolutionized Michinoku Pro Wrestling and was able to bring their style of fast paced wrestling to American audiences through Extreme Championship Wrestling and later the World Wrestling Federation. Teoh is the definition of a legend in Japan and still plies his craft weekly for smaller federations like DDT. On this show, Teoh gets the opportunity to do what so many have tried and failed to do, to defeat Claudio Castagnoli. The monster from the United Banks of Switzerland is undefeated and if Teoh is able to pull off what would surely be an upset, he will HAVE to earn himself a WCWA contract and another chance to ply his craft in front of American wrestling fans.
Battle Royal Revenge Extreme Strong Style Dance Match
One on One Match
"Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney
vs.
"Japanese Oil Man" Michael Nakazawa
Before leaving WCWA, Michael Nakazawa was a part of a battle royal. And in that battle royal, he eliminated Revolution commentator Sweet & Sour Larry Sweeney. Sweeney, an on again off again wrestler, refused to come to Japan and do commentary, to fill the void of Shane Douglas' wrestling, unless he could get his revenge match. Revenge with the man who eliminated him. Revenge with an oily man. Revenge with Michael Nakazawa. This one should be one for the ages.
