I say they get an A or A-. Not an a+ simply because that means perfect, and nothing is perfect.

Where have they exceeded your expectations? The overall attention to detail. Where is there room for improvement? The loose ankles in Elites. What earned them extra credit points? Elites, Legends, DM, and EG.. The fact that they've made all these great figures with such great accessories available to everyone at retail, instead of making one or two of them online exclusives for a crapload of money (coughJAKKScough), is incredible. I love how they pay attention to detail, and put relevant accessories with these figures. What did they do to lose points? NO ZACK RYDER!!!! Best head scan of the year? Sheamus. Perfect scan. Worst head scan of the year? Elite 5 Vladimir Kozlov.. WTF?? Best overall figure this year? Basic 7 Sheamus

It's great how some coward can hide behind a computer and give Mattel and F without any explanation. Glad some people are strong enough to fess up to something. Mattel>Jakks.
Anyway, I gave them an A, mostly due to Terra's explanation.
Where have they exceeded your expectations? The Legends line came out a lot better than I thought. Also, the figure belts are incredible.
Where is there room for improvement? More Title's and Accessories like tables, chairs, ladders
What earned them extra credit points? Detail. I have always looked for detail in wrestling figures, and Mattel hasn't missed any IMO.
What did they do to lose points? Too many released in 2010, Quality over Quantity. The figures did look great, but there were so many released, it was hard to keep up sometimes. Also, lack of any figure belts in the first year was a let down. Looking forward to them in Elite 8 though.
Best head scan of the year? Maryse. I feel it is truly spot on, especially out of the divas figures.
Worst head scan of the year? Gotta go with Basic 2Pack 8 Cena. It's horrid.
Best overall figure this year? Gotta be a tie between Masters/Hurricane/EG DiBiase. All of those figures are AMAZING!!

A because I like their WWE Figures. I think the Elite and Legends are great with the cloth and accessories, the Entrance Greats are an awesome idea, SDCC Exclisve Undertaker is one of the best figures I've ever seen and I also like the 1 of 1000 chairs.
I will not give an A+ because the quality of some figures is not so good. The right arme of my Hornswoggle figure fell off, the right leg of Legends 3 Rock is curios.
The body of Mr. Perfect is to thin and some headscans could be better.
My english could be better too.
But all in all Mattel is doing a good job. Keep up the good work.

Where have they exceeded your expectations? They made Randy Savage, made elites that looked like exclusives be just regular figures sold in a normal retail store instead of making them exclusives.
Where is there room for improvement? Make the kneepads smaller, so they aren't so stiff. Also make sure the ankles on elites aren't loose.
What earned them extra credit points? Making the figures to scale.
What did they do to lose points? Not making Ryder.
Best head scan of the year? I'd say Sheamus Basic 7.
Worst head scan of the year? Kozlov Elite 5
Best overall figure this year? Elite 4 John Morrison, the figure looks perfect imo. I'd say Mattel gets an A.

Oh and Swaggers scans aren't all that great. I'm not saying they're bad, they just don't really resemble his likeness.

B+.
They made some figures of people that Jakks didn't do. Their figures are awesome. Their paint scratches off too easily. Also they cost £5-10 more than DA's did.

I gave them a B+ mainly because some of the head scans have lacked detail, there has been too many re-releases apart from that it has been a great start by mattel.

Like others have said, to award an A+ every single one of Mattel's figures would have had to have been perfect and that's just way to big of an expectation. I say that Mattel gets a solid A for their first year around since most of their figures have been fantastic with a few less than stellar figures here and there.

Where have they exceeded your expectations? - Mattel exceeded my expectations with the fact that they had unique molds for certain wrestlers. It was better than us guessing what mold would most likely be used for this or that wrestler. A few examples that stood out are Bourne's kickers, Sheamus' torso and Mark Henry's torso as well.
Where is there room for improvement? - It's tough to say, but I think the paint can be a little sloppy at times...other than that I'm more than satisified.
What earned them extra credit points? - Variety. We got figures of so many wrestlers this year...even ones that don't have a prominent role on TV (Tatsu, Primo, hurricane, knox)
What did they do to lose points? - I was hoping to see a Zack Ryder figure this year...I understand the process of scanning to shelf so it's understandable. Also, some QC issues...legs snapping off (happened to me twice) and paint.
Best head scan of the year? - We have to pick one?! Haha I'd have to say my personal favorite is Two Packs series 7 Miz. Just awesome
Worst head scan of the year? - Hmmm Swagger...they just can't seem to capture him correctly...I think it's the hair.
Best overall figure this year? - B7 Sheamus...new skin tone, new torso, great detail and a highly anticipated figure!
I give Mattel an A

I gave em an A. - points for Natalya not making it in the year. Just kidding, we seen her proto. I gave a few - points b/c of Diva headscans. Some could have used improvement. And, I see the ones that are stuck up Jakks @$$ have been in here and gave Mattel an F. Idiots.

I gave them a B+. The figures, for the most part, have been very good. A few little details here and there, but they are definitely high quality figures. I lowered the grade a bit because of the erratic distribution, especially at TRU. It never got better throughout the year, and seems to vary from area to area and store to store.
And I hope we get Zack, the Nexus, and more Divas soon.
