Now an annual event in the WWE Universe, the 2010 WWE Draft did what it did best - shake things up. The RAW brand became jam packed full of main event caliber superstars, with Smackdown's Edge, Chris Jericho, John Morrison and R-Truth all heading over to the flagship show of the WWE. However, Smackdown captured the veterans Christian and The Big Show, rising star Kofi Kingston, and one of the WWE Universe's favourite divas, Kelly Kelly on the same night. With the draft, as well as WWE.com hosted 'supplemental' draft really changing the face of the WWE, what will become of MyNetworkTV's highest rated show?

Chris Masters def. Luke Gallows Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins def. Local Competitors.
Friday, April 30, 2010 - Hershey, PA.SmackDown opens with Jack Swagger in the ring. He speaks as the crowd boo's him, all of Hershey's WWE Universe members unhappy to see Swagger still reigning as World Heavyweight Champion. Swagger says he wants a real challenger, not a psychopath who can't get it done in the ring like Randy Orton, but someone like him, someone who can get on his level. At this, Christian enters, Swagger annoyed that his former rival has come out. Christian says he's proven he's on Swagger's 'level' in the past when he took the ECW Championship from him this time last year. Swagger says he couldn't beat him now, as he's a MUCH better Superstar now than he was then, and challenges him to a match tonight! Christian accepts, and the main event for the evening is set! Commercial BreakCody Rhodes def. Montel Vontavious Porter - A great way to kick off this edition of SmackDown! Rhodes took the win here with Cross Rhodes after a back and forth match up.Rhodes celebrates, the former Tag Team Champion taking the win as his singles career begins here on SmackDown! Todd Grisham and Matt Striker hype the Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre battling JTG in non-title action! Commercial BreakIntercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre def. JTG - Good match up here to follow the previous match, with McIntyre taking the win after nailing the Future Shock DDT.McIntyre left the ring, holding up his Championship and celebrating the win. In the ring, JTG was getting to his feet, and when he did, he was booted in the face by Shad Gaspard! Shad then picked up JTG, and nailed him with Thugnificent, sending a message that thier feud was far from over! A video package hyping the debut of the WWE's favourite diva, Kelly Kelly, on SmackDown! then played, and this was followed by a commercial break. Commercial BreakSmackDown! returns with CM Punk's theme playing, the 'Straight Edge Saviour' making his way out to the ring with his disciples Luke Gallows and Serena. He grabs a microphone, saying at Extreme Rules he proved Straight Edge does mean he's better than Rey Mysterio, and that if needs be he'll prove this again, and again, and again. Mysterio then interrupts, looking quite annoyed himself. He says he was screwed over by a man in a mask on Sunday, a coward in a mask. A coward who is too scared to show him who he is for fear of the consequences. Punk interrupts, saying that he has been thinking the same thing all these months about Rey. Rey says he understands now, before challenging Punk to a rubber match at Extreme Rules. Punk says that's just what he wanted, but says if Rey loses, he must join the Straight Edge Society! Rey accepts, but says should he win, CM Punk's head will be shaved! Punk says Rey failed to do that at Extreme Rules, and he'll fail again at Over The Limit! The two superstars stare down as another commercial break comes in. Commercial BreakBeth Phoenix def. Layla - The new Womens Champion Beth Phoenix took the win over Layla with the Glam Slam in this one sided bout. After the match, Michelle McCool rolls Layla out of the ring, before telling her that this isn't over! Beth shakes her head, before holding up the Womens Championship to the delight of the fans. The Camera then goes backstage, where Dolph Ziggler is kneeling next to Hornswoggle. He says that he is going to make him pay for embarrasing him at the draft, and so he better watch out next week, because he might just end up like The Great Khali, and go to sleep. He finishes the sentence menacingly though, saying Hornswoggle won't be waking up. The promo finishes, and so does this part of the show. Commercial BreakSmackDown! returns with a promo, hyping the debut of 'controlled frenzy' that is Kofi Kingston next week on SmackDown! The Big Show def. The Dudebusters - Big Show was acting very face like tonight, smiling and waving, a turn completed after he knocked The Miz out on Monday's RAW. As for the match, Big Show defeated both Dudebusters with ease, ending the match with a double Chokeslam.Big Show celebrated his first win back on SmackDown!, looking very happy as a break comes in. Commercial BreakSmackDown! returned with Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer in the office of Theodore Long. They are shaking his hand, thanking him for the chance he is giving them. He tells them to make an impact if they want to stick around on SmackDown! Hawkins says that he's an expert in making an impact, and Teddy should know that. The two then leave the room, as the next match begins. Kane def. Chavo Guerrero - Not the return to SmackDown! Chavo had hoped for, as Kane destroyed him just as he had done in the past when they clashed with his signature chokeslam.Kane smiles sadistically, happy with his victory and the pain he's inflcited on Chavo, as the commentators hype the main event of Christian vs. Jack Swagger next! Commercial BreakChristian def. Jack Swagger - Christian and Swagger had a fantastic back and forth encounter here, but sadly for Swagger he couldn't manage the win, as his former rival Christian once again got the better of him with the Killswitch!Christian celebrated the big win over the World Champion Swagger. He signalled he wanted the World Heavyweight Championship as Swagger sat perplexed in the corner, not knowing how he'd ended up the loser, clutching his Championship as SmackDown! ends. © World Wrestling Entertainment, 2010. -The main event should be a good one, could've sworn I remembered you do one of these. -Cody over MVP is a good start to SD with a decent result either way. -McIntyre over JTG was expected. -CM Punk and Rey Mysterio's advancement to their feud should be good. Looking forward to it at Over the Limit. -Beth over Layla was expected her as she is the new Women's Champ. -The Big Show over Dudebusters is good, hope his face turn turns out fine. -Kane over Guerrero was expected definitely. Lots of predictable matches tonight. -Christian over Swagger could very well give him a shot at the gold at Over the Limit. Could be a good one where ever it goes. -Solid show; lots of squashes and what not but good calls.

Nice layout for both roster and show, Swagger/Christian world title feud = pure awesomeness, I'm usually against someone like Christian jumping into the World title picture but that works out pretty well with their backstory and all, glad Rhodes won I'd just put MVP if I was you, hopefully you push Rhodes well, glad Drew won and Shad's attack post match was well done, loved the Punk/Rey feud I'm sure you'll continue it well, boo at you jobbing out the Dudebusters they should be going for gold, push for Archer and Hawkings?, I'd like a new paragraph when theres a new scene, meh at Chavo jobbing I'd much prefer him on Superstars putting on a good match with young tallent, Christian going over was the obvious choice and I'm glad you went for it, no doubt he'll get a title shot but I ope you have Swagger retain, good luck and keep this up
