Cain is out 6-8 months with a messed up shoulder.

Man was it awesome to see Varner get choked out in his home state , now he can go spit out his mouthpiece somewhere else. He would be good for the upcoming Bellator LW tournament though. Would be a good pick up for Strikeforce too.
Shaub leaves his hands down a lot, maybe something there for Cro Cop? However I would be surprised if Shaub won he is coming along good. I'm pretty much always going to go with Cro Copt o win though.
Bummed about Cain, I really wanted JDS to get that belt sooner ;D.

Varner going is no real surprise and one that I'm happy about because there's just something I hate about Varner.
Cro Cop hasn't looked good in 4 years and I expect Schaub will probably beat him, he has some raw potential there but he does have some holes in his game, not that I expect Cro Cop to explot them.

Bummer about Cain. I was really looking forward to his upcoming fight against Dos Santos. So 3 UFC champs are on the shelf now. Good thing Shogun is on his way back already!

Really sucks about Cain getting injured... it sound as though he'll be out for most of the year too So - if Santos doesn't want to wait, would his next fight be for the Interim HW title? (I can't see him risking a guaranteed title-shot). And who would you put him up against? Brock's just lost and is taking time off and Carwin is still injured. Which only really leaves Mir as a viable contender (ie. title contender). No wonder Dana looked so frustrated, lol.
