FIGAMANIA 2010 IS HERE!

Out of respect to those who worked hard to put this show together and produce matches, I will be removing all off-topics posts. Come on guys, let's keep this thread free of our petty squabbles and in-fightings. That goes out to EVERYONE.

PWX- Big Mexican-style tag match...pretty unique and a nice change up for the FigaMania line-up! I'm rooting for Christian...Whoa, Thorn took out the World's Greatest Tag Team with little effort! What the ?? London pinned Lashley?!? OK... Go Punk, very opportunistic! Haha, Moore sucks...it's funny because it's true...Delaney. pinned. MVP. I see about every type of figure Jakks made in this match, lol! Where's a BCA? Punk pinned--booo. Christian pinned--boo. Thorn took off Shelton's head with that clothesline! Thorn wins, he's a monster in PWX!

wTw- The Outsiders taking on the Undertaker and a mystery partner...who showed up late! What's up with that Hulk?!?! 'Taker held his own pretty well until the Hulkster showed up... I too thought Hulk would turn on Taker, but he stayed true to his partner...and picked up the win! Hulkamania running wild in wTw, watch out Rhyno! Good job, Tirva.

TNA Revolution- TNA Revolution- very cool opening graphic! You've got a great, big match, main event atmosphere thing going here! No DQ, no countout, let's go! Anderson with a wrench...they waster no time getting "extreme!" Angle with a shot to da yam bag, lol. You write for Taz very well! ;D Atomic drop into the camera guy, nice! Very intense and fast action, none of it in the ring, either! Great posing, you are not slacking a bit in the posing dept.! Now it's a backstage brawl, deskjet, you're hitting it out of the park! Ha ha, soda to the head of Anderson...LOL MOMENT- Angle finding the Divas Hardy TNA title in the trash! Awesome! Angle drags Anderson back by an ankle lock...sweet high risk moonsault connects, uh oh Anderson! Wait a minute...Beer Money...Foley...Barby makes an appearance...seeing this type of action from you is why the clip shows are so hard to swallow, please take that as a compliment, because that's how I meant it! Now Morgan is in on the action, it's pandemonium! NO! AJ STYLES TAKES OUT MORGAN! Ohhh, Pele into an Olympic Slam, nite-nite Mr. Anderson....Anderson! GREAT FigaMania match, DJ!

ROP- Punk and Hero in an Indy dream match...your arena looks very indy, but this is FigaMania! Is that a shoestring? Hero throws some awkward punches...Nice kick by Punk..."Rubik's Cube" finishes a short match. Decent action, probably could have used more.

DWF- Rodney Flame v. Randy Orton, here we go... Flame looks like a CAW from an old Smackdown game, lol...your arena needs some work, this is FigaMania, no turnbuckles and your rope knot is HUGE in quite a few pics! And your pics need to be re-sized down a bit...I know I sound dick-ish, but you have said you'd take all kinds of critiques and I'd like to help you improve! Wait, Flame just took a hellacious chair shot from his suicide dive, but recovered and gave Orton a shot to "da yam bag?" Where is the ref, by the way? Orton wins, then a run in by Angle adds to the confusion...

CWA- TWA World Champion Harley Race defends against the Great Muta! I'd rather see Inoki go after Race, but I like Muta, too... sweet savate kick by Muta to down the champ! Ha, Muta suicide dives over the ref to get caught in a stomachbuster! You can't do high-risk against Harley or he'll make you pay! Gutwrench...neckbreaker...it's the systematic dissection of his opponent...NO! Running back handspring elbow! The champ is rocked! Great use of your ref to sell the action and great posing all around here, Mo! MUTA?!?!? WTH? You misted the ref, dude! You just blew a chance at the TWA title!! Wait, the ref counted the pin, I guess he REALLY wanted to see a clear winner to get misted and still go forward, lol! Race retains yet again! Good stuff Mo!

C2W- Great pics and graphics, I like the use of a traditional play by play face and heel color man...Rock was kinda hard to take with his constant insults, lol. It's like he was putting himself over more than the action in the ring...but I could TOTALLY see him doing that, too! Haas against the Proto, err...John Cena! Great posing of the combatants, and the ref...the ropes look a bit off...are those rubber bands? Cool neckbreaker shots by Haas...lots of pin attempts, fast moving...HA! Earl got clocked! Cena blasts Haas with the belt...is Cena the heel?!? I didn't put that together until now! Cole cursing a Cena win?!?!? Rock bashed him earlier, so I thought he was a face. Good action from Cena and an unlikely star like Haas! Nice match!

UFC- and to finish off FigaMania, some UFC action. Props for the attempt, but it's tough to simulate MMA action with figs, as we all want to see sick KO's and bloody faces in real life, lol! Both guys try the ground and pound early...Silva caught in a gugolplatta?!? NO! First round went by quick. If you stick with UFC, maybe lengthen it a little bit more...One thing I notice is nether guy "sells" getting hit or kicked, I know UFC isn't pro-wrestling, but for fedding you might "sell" some of the blows a bit more so we can tell it's connecting and damaging...Silva cracks Shogun with a headkick...only to have to tap to a gogo? Well, that's UFC for ya! ;D Nice bout.

Sorry guys, couldn't hand in due to some unforseen personal issues that cropped up. I'll drop some replies around in a couple of mins!

PWX - Good match man, though I feel the way it was formatted took away from it a bit. Try centering it next time, and maybe making the pics a bit smaller. The match itself was very good, a very cool and different idea, one I haven't seen done ever in a pic fed match tbh. It helped you show a lot of the roster you're going to be working with as well as set up some alliances, be them temporary or long term. I'm glad Thorn pulled out the win, always felt he should've been used a bit better by the 'E. Enjoyed watching this one dude, thanks for posting!

wTw - Great match here Tirva, glad to see that you threw a HUGE curveball with who you picked as Taker's partner. The match was entertaining all the way through with some anarchy reigning on the outside, and some solid poses when needed! I really enjoyed seeing Hogan come in, changed the pace of the match completely and I never expected him to rejoin with the nWo, kind of glad you didn't go that way man. The aftermath is good, nice way of building to your next ppv there man. Good match man, thanks for posting!

TNA:R - DJ you never fail to impress me man, and just when I thought you couldn't get any better, you pull this one out of the bag! Fantastic match man, it was just so well paced, with the action going everywhere, and even a great piece of humour with Jeff's hunk of crap belt! One criticism is that it may have been a bit too Angle heavy, but other than that, this is the match is definitely match of the night so far! Nicely done as always, DJ!

ROP - Woo Woo, some ROP! Not sure how I feel about you using a plain background! This is not very ROP like at all! Not complaining though, as this a fantastic match you've given us dude. I'm expecting Chris Hero to win for some reason, though I would prefer Punk to be the victor. I think the pacing of this match was just right man, you had the spots where they were needed, and pulled them off pose wise! Really enjoyed this Mikey, and the ending was very unexpected with the top rope coming into play! Good work dude, thanks for handing in!

DWF - Sorry dude, but this, this just isn't good being honest. Pictures are far too big, the arena seems far too amatuer with drawn on logos, and other figures in the background. The commentary isn't very good, needs work for sure. I know you're new, and as a newcomer the poses weren't bad man, so you did well there, it's just everything else seems to be lacking, sorry Max. The ending was confusing as well, was Flame DQ'd? Not understanding that at all tbh. Thanks for the match though man, it's always good to know some newcomers are willing to make the effort!

CWA - Looking forward to a match from Mo as I always do! I don't expect Muta to win at all tbh, as I'm pretty certain Andre will beat Race at the TWA event that's coming up soon. Nevertheless, I'm going to enjoy this. Some good poses Mo, which I like seeing as imo you struggle sometimes with that, especially the karate kicks, they look brutal! Really enjoyed watching this one, and as much as I wanted Muta to win, I never expected him to, and Race comes out the victor in a very heel fashion! Nice work man, the ending was very well put together! Thanks for posting, Mo!

FSW - YES! A new fed from J! Wooooooop! Rock and Cole?! That is going to be a helluva commentary team banter wise! Glad to see you're using Cena still, you were starting to build him nicely before you ended C2W. Easily the best poses I've seen all night man, I've missed how realistic you're matches are! I'm pulling for Haas here, but I suspect Mr. Cena will be winning as it's his first title defense! Very back and forth, Hebner down, title shot! Cena takes it! Well done on the ending, like I said with Mo, very heel like! Really enjoyed this dude, look forward to more FSW, thanks for posting!

UFC:F - Admittedly I'm no MMA buff, but I'll try and enjoy this! Well, I won't have to try, this is good stuff man! Not really pulling for anyone, just enjoying the poses as they come! Submission is locked in, I think this one is done, it is! Great fight man, surprised myself a bit and enjoyed watching it! Good work dude, keep with this please, and thanks for posting!

Some fantastic efforts here, thanks a lot for posting guys! Give yourselves a pat on the back, you've put together a really good show!

Ok, I finally have time to sit down and watch Figamania. Sorry I couldn't turn anything in, but hopefully the next FIW show will make up for it, as it will be posted just as soon as finish up replying! So here we go.

PWX - Really nice to see something new from you. But I do hope that you keep up your regular shows. Man, there are so many people in this match. I remember saying how I was fearful that you would have an out of control roster, and this is what I'm talking about! Haha, but I don't know if this is in full PWX continuity, but anyway. I do remember Styles being in one of your other shows, so that's good. I'm liking the action here, and the cibernetico is a really unique concept to incorporate into pic fedding. Nice use of string for the larger moves. I'm liking how you are building Kevin Thorn in this match as the big man to beat. Bourne taking down everyone on the outside was a nice spot. Uh oh. Punk and Moore! haha. I guess this is in continuity. Haha, I love Punk and Delaney as a unit. Man, I really like how you built up Shelton as the great baby face underdog type. That lariat shot was amazing. Overall, this was a really enjoyable match that was very original. I really hope to see more from PWX as far as you continuing your main shows.

wTw - I can't wait to see Hall and Nash in action here! Hmm, Taker's partner isn't coming out? I'm guessing some kind of run in later on. Man, I've got chills seeing Nash and Taker staring down like that! I'm loving Nash and Hall in this handicap match situation. All their underhanded tactics make it great. HOGAN! Man, Hogan's one of the only guys that could come in and hang with all these guys! Haha, nice reveal. Holy...Jericho! HBK! Man, what a match it would be to see Jericho, Hall, Nash vs. HBK, Taker, Hogan! I'm loving wTw, and how all this crazy stuff is going down. I just really hope Hall stays in wTw after Flashpoint!

deskjet - Ok, this definitely has a big match feel, and has been brewing! Man, I love how you had them just get right into it, and just brawling. It really makes it feel like they've been waiting to tear each other apart. Wow. I have never seen a camera man taken out in the middle of a pic fed match. That was an awesome spot. Haha, the Mike Tyson interaction was great. HOLY that german on the ramp looked brutal. This action is awesome. "Hey, get me a soad." HAHA I laughed at that. Yay, we get to see your awesome reaction-esque backstage again! HAHAH The Tazz commentary with the soda was amazing. So TNA like. haha. Root Beer sounding. HAHAH this is the funniest match I've ever seen in pic fedding since simon / bryteren. The Immortal title just in the trash. I love you. Holy that moonsault through the table was awesome. You have great poses when you want to. Beer Money and Foley just show up, haha. I love that TTL Foley. Nice fire extinguisher effects, and that blood is AMAZING! Of course Angle is bleeding on the forehead and Anderson is bleeding on the back of his head! HOLY You've got the new Morgan! I haven't found series 3 yet! I want them too. AJ in street clothes! Angle wins! Loved this match. So happy to see old school an old school long match from deskjet. Awesome stuff.

Mikey - Ok, I have been waiting for this showdown for a long time. Awesome music player. I would have prefered the old school themes for both men though (Miseria Cantare and Kryptonite) but hey, this isn't one of their 2003 matches! I love the mat work at the start. Jumping enzugir! And it falls to the outside. This could get ugly out here. Holy! Dropkick to the face mid air! Holy! That Rubics Cube off the top was sickening. The match was kind of short, but I love that you provide old school 2005 indy feds in this day and age. I love that.

DWF - I like the idea of this being a house show event. Nice hardcore action. I would suggest using string for the aerial moves, as it seems half of their body is cut out of the picture when you hold them. The match was kind of short, but it is a house show. Anyway, I haven't watched any of your other shows, so I don't know what's going on, but it seems odd how you had this minor league guy beat up Orton. Even with the Kurt assist, Rodney Flame seemed to be doing well in the match. Anyway, a good effort, and you seem to enjoy fedding. Keep it up.

CWA - Muta vs. Race? This should be a great match. Loving the Muta custom. Hah, I like how Race left the ring, as if he's never had to tangle with someone like Muta. Nice story telling. HOLY nice dive over the ref! That spot was great, and the knee counter was even better. That's how you ground the high flyer. Man, the action is great in this. Love all the kicks. I just wish the piledriver didn't look so bad with RA's. Really fun match, I was really into it, and although I saw Race retaining, it was a fun ride.

FSW - So this is the first match for FSW? This should be fun. Haas vs. Prototype Cena? Even more intriguing. I love that you are seemingly doing something new with this fed. It seems very much like an ROH fed minus the indy guys. It seems fun, and hope you continue. Hmm, Cena is already the champ! haha. Man, this match was fun. I really really want to see this fed continue. The thought of a straight up, wrestling based RA fed using string, with your camera quality and production makes me so excited. Your poses are really well done, and this fed feels completely mid 2000, yet original. I love it. Please keep it up. And your commentary was golden. Haha.

Champ Is Here - MMA huh? It could be fun. Pretty short, but most MMA matches can be, so that's not something against you. It was kind of hard to follow what was going on, but that's not really your fault. MMA stuff is usually punches, which can be hard to do with figures. I did enjoy the gogplata pose at the end. You deserve points for doing something new and original, but it didn't really translate to pic fedding like wrestling does, but you did put a good effort forth.

Overall, this was a really fun event that I enjoyed. I'm really glad this happened this year.

PWX- Mushairo- This was a very entertaining match to start off Figamania with. Great action for a battle Royal and very good camera work. Surprise ending at Throrn winning and looking forward to what happens next on PWX

wTw- Tirva- This was a really good match that had lots of buildup and a good payoff. hogan;s late! You SOB! Really thought Hogan was gonna swerve here but instead down comes the champ! Now HBK! Great ending with great anticipation for the next show

ROP-Mikey: Fantastic way of setting up this match. Some good spots in this match but I was a bit disappointed it didn't go longer. Hope to see more ROP in 2011. One of my favorite indy feds:)


DWF-masspick-Got a chance to view this earlier. Room for improvement but better then your test match, which is good. Some decent poses all around but you need to work on the arena and pic sizes a little. Hope you stick with this and take the good help that's here around the board. Good luck.


CWA-Mo4sho- Great match. Great poses. Loved seeing Muta and Race. This match really had a big time feel to it. Presentation and everything was solid. you've really stepped up your game. Nice work.

FSW-wwefan617; You haven't missed a beat man. Top notch work as always with great poses and camera work. Always love how you use the mid carder type guys. Great looking arena as well. Cant wait for more FSW. Is this the same FSW from before? hmmmmm?

UFC Fury-Champ is here-Was great to see something different this year in Figamania and definately think this is something that will contribute to the board. I really liked this match as it showed that a UFC style fed can be done and done well. Looking forward to more.


Overall: Very proud of everyone's effort. This was a great Figamania this year and I'm glad everyone was able to contribute. Thanks for the entertainments guys:)
