Hey guys, I don't know if it's been montioned or not, but it looks like Chikara is going to get a signles "big dog" champion this year. www.chikarapro.com/blog/AWESOME ehhhhh. I'm not so sure about this. One of the real unique things about Chikara was the lack of singles championship. I'm positive Chikara will use this perfectly (they always do) but, I would still like for the Campeonatos De Parejas to be the main titles.

The real interesting thing here is the possibility of a woman as a company's top champion.

That's pretty much the way of thinking that makes me love Chikara, it's a really creative view on wrestling, out of the box. They also really know how to keep a fanbase interested, best company going today.

So what's everyone's opinion on the alleged selling of Chikara to an entertainment company? Chikarafans.com forum creeps proclaim it may be an ANG based on the website...but Wiggly leaving the podcast/Chikara production makes me think otherwise. Naturally he'd be the first to go if an actual entertainment/production company is taking over. Here's the website: www.wmdcorp.netI can't tell if it's a work or the website just sucks, ha. Quack sell Chikara?! I highly doubt it. Anything is possible.....but this one I'm hard pressed to buy. I say work.

I have no doubt that Chikara will continue to give adequate attention to the tag division while using the new title to make everything all the more interesting. Like you said before, I've always admired Chikara for being different and not having a top single's titles, but in my mind the addition of one can only make things better.

I wonder when they will start announcing the interesting trio teams. Six teams announced, who have all been in the previous tournaments.. I don't think they will announce interesting teams.

Sort of wish it was Kobald instead of Sinn, with Sinn taking the Manager role. Ah well.

So which one of you want to slam Tursas.
On April 16th, at the 4th annual Fan Conclave, CHIKARA dares to ask - who can body slam the giant Tursas? Can you? The challenge is being thrown out to professional wrestlers, professional musicians and fans alike - and for the brave of heart, we'll find out if YOU can slam Tursas on April 16th!
