Thanks in large part to everyone raving about them on these boards here I finally caved in to the Mattel WWE collecting bug today. Got Ric Rude and Terry Funk at Walmart for $10 each and picked up DM Savage and Elite 6 CM Punk both on sale at TRU. Looks like the TRU sale covers all of the WWE stuff.

you need to buy everything online now elites, tna, legends unless you wan't two elites per
series and skipped series like legends series 2 and series 4 and no 1 or 3 (series 1 at toys toys
toys doesn't count go their for tna) when it comes to chain stores no legends no elites no all
stars no tna no nothing... it seems like the second it became 2010 Canada went back 5 years
when it comes to wrestling figures. In 2011 we need to buy figures that would of been available
3 years ago if it wasn't for !@#$ ups. Plain said they see the complains, they could fix it, CANADA
SHOULD GET EVERYTHING THAT THE STATES SHOULD ALL THE SAME PRODUCT now !@#$ off with
the flex force and all the basic figures that NO ONE wants and give us some real product you
!@#$%^& !@#$ !@#$ .... bungholes

Now to wait and pray for new legends and elites blaah There's one at my local TRU and I've debated picking it up for a while. Even though it's on sale, something about the headscan and the incorrect hair color are really upsetting. Might just grab Basic 4 Ziggler, Goldust or Regal for $10.47 instead.

I so want the Austin/Punk pack, but I'm not holding out hope of seeing it at retail, I'll just nab one when I can online. Thought about getting the Jake Roberts/Randy Orton pack too, but basically it comes down to just being Jake in less interesting attire with a different snake, so I picked up his Legends 2 figure at Walmart for $10.
The Macho Man/Morrison pack does nothing for me. I've already got DM Macho and that Morrison head scan is terrible. I'm holding out for his new Elite figure instead.

Au contraire! All-Stars Jake is in a face/heel deco with Damien (all be it not highly detailed) AND a sack! The madusa design is slowly growing on me. Definitely a must have. I like L2 Jake because his tights are very detailed, but wished he came with one of Undertaker's gloved hands to hold the cobra...oh and there was no bag.

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing Canada has dropped the ball on Mattel Legends. I would have purchased a lot more figures by now if I didn't have to order them online. For the cost of shipping alone, I could have 2-3 more figures. That's how I look at it. Which is why whenever I order online I go big or go home to make shipping some what justified. Sadly, I have to wait weeks if not months before I have enough disposable income for a massive order.

A flexible Damien with a bag to put him in is pretty cool, but I prefer the heel Jake with a more complex design on his tights and the cobra. It was a pretty close decision either way though.

I missed out on Legends 1 Austin since it got Sold Out at my closest Toys Toys Toys... hope that Punk 2-Pack gets released here.

Apparently my business teacher told us that the reason why some products don't get to Canada is because they have to be labeled in French and English, and some companies either can't be bothered or don't have enough money to change the packaging. It may be the case with elites but then again, why don't all basics have english and french labels?

Every Elite and Basic I've ever bought in Canada has had english and french labels (as well as a few other languages), whereas the figures I've purchased from RSC have only english. There's also other various differences between our packaging and America's.

I went to the flea market today and picked up a WM 26 Matt Hardy for $5. Which flea market was this? The Mulvey Flea Market. The guy was having a 50% off sale. All he has left for Mattels are basic 6 Miz and Drew and L4 Warrior. He also had a few TNA and Jakks figures, but not very many. I think I overheard him say he wasn't going to be selling them anymore.

Many Jakks figures in my collection were bought from him, nice guy.
