if the Super Nova and Tinieblas figures came with the sweet capes and chest pieces, I probably would have bought those. absolutely no interest in having a random chair or trash can lid, or an ugly kid sized mask..

I went looking for these at my Walmart, but no luck. They are moving their toy asile around so I asked a manager about these figures. He said if he had the UPC or something like that he could look them up.
To anyone who has these could you post the UPC for the single pack figures?

Where they even in Lucha Libre USA? Now that you mention it... nope. Why were the prototypes shown? I am kind of confused about this line. I was under the impression it was a Triple A deal, but I guess not. Wagner and La Parka were protos from the AAA line. Last I heard, the entire line was scrapped unfortunately.

I talked to people at playmates before these came out and they said there will be a 2nd series. I specifically asked about a Rellik figure and I received an email back that said Rellik is coming. They also said they are trying to sign more AAA guys as they do have the AAA license....not just for the masked warriors tv show.

These figures would be a GREAT addition to my figure fed, I could have a special lucha libre division.

:'(I checked 3 wal marts this evening and didn't find any Lucha Libre figures. Are you sure these are only at wal mart?

The other figures look pretty cool though, I hope the line does well.

To all who have asked, here are the UPC codes: Sydistiko - 43377 25144 Marco Corleone - 43377 25141 Tinieblas Jr. - 43377 25142 Charly Malice / Manson - 43377 25003 Super Nova - 43377 25145 Lizmark Jr. - 43377 25143 Tinieblas Jr. Combo Pack - 43377 25232 Super Nova Combo Pack - 43377 25231 Hexalateral Wrestling Ring - 43377 25111 That word again is hexaleteral. For the guy who asked, the Kemonito figure came from the officially licensed Hag Distribuidoras line of CMLL figures. There was also a AAA line of Rock'em Sock'em Luchadores that included Charly "Manson" and others. Keep the faith, figure fanatics! Yay, 100 posts!

Can anybody tell me if the figures head are like Jakks,Mattel,or the old toybiz TNA? Are they removable? Thanks. The figures just seem like Jakks Deluxe figures with new heads, so I'd imagine the parts are all equally removable.
