When I wrote last week. "Everyone is laughing at him and thinks he's a fool." By the way, nobody was/is laughing at him. Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami both stuck up for him actually. The only person laughing would be someone like Josh "Q-Tip" Koscheck, who seems to like to trashtalk/make fun of people. But he's sure as hell in no position to laugh at anybody now.

"The government is recommending Sonnen be sentenced to two years of probation.
As part of his plea deal, Sonnen agreed to give up his Realtor's license and pay a $10,000 fine, said Michelle Holman Kerin, the assistant U.S. attorney handling the case." ----------
And we're back to where we started. Not good publicity for the man, that's for sure.

Though his name in MMA is quickly becoming damaged beyond repair.

* Dana said he did not know about this current Sonnen case and Sonnen did not inform him.
I don't know what this guy is thinking.

Meh. I highly doubt he's going to prison. Dana White may not be pleased Sonnen's getting investigated, but I doubt anything comes of this. Dana may have a temper tantrum at a press conference if its brought up, but suspending him/firing him seems unlikely.

Wow, Sonnen is a real idiot. He won't go to prison and probably won't be gone from the UFC. Apparently his next bout is/was with Akiyama at 128 after his sentence starts.

Sherdog and a few other sources have added that the expected sentence is 2 years of probation. Sadly his UFC run is going to end soon. Sonnen has found every way to make himself look like an ass.

I don't think he will be gone..but I do think he will be suspended or told by Dana to keep it low key...so any way you look at it I don't think we will be seeing him fight for at least the better part of a year.
...which is a shame....Wanderlei and Chael would have been great coaches for TUF..

Warm buttery toast.
Anyway, I'm not too fussed about this, I really don't like him as a person, I respect his ability though.

But Dana has no problem sticking up for Rampage when he went rampage? I get it, you dont like Sonnen. Either way, idiot move by Chael.

I'm pretty sure Chael Sonnen is legitimately insane.
