I was looking back at the intros, back from RAW 96 and SmackDown! 99, up until now, and then I felt the need of listening both "Rise Up" and "Rise Up! 2006"
I started noticing the differences between them, as I remembered almost everyone here saying "Rise Up" was a lot better, and let me tell you, IMO, if you want to listen to a full song, I agree that "Rise Up" is indeed better, but talking about getting pumped up for a wrestling show, "Rise Up! 2006" does a better job.
On a side note, I would like to add that I always thought this would make for a good RAW or SD! Intro (even though it was already used for a PPV)
I would have it be from 0:05 -:014 and 0:45 - 1:13
So, what kind of songs do you like for a wrestling intro?

WWE intros today suck, they've sucked for awhile. This is my all time favorite though...

Both Beautiful People and Across the Nation were awesome theme songs of WWE RAW and SMACKDOWN!

I always loved "Across the Nation". It had run it's course as Raw's theme song, though.
My hatred towards Nickelback prevents me from enjoying Raw's theme. I never thought it really worked that well anyway, it's got too much of a "country" feel, which has nothing to do with Raw at all.
While I love Green Day, I think "Know Your Enemy" is an awful choice for Smackdown, and for a theme song in general.
Straight rock tends to work best for WWE, and I've more or less moved on from that genre, so I'd be a bit dated in choosing more fitting themes.

That is my personal favorite from RAW (the 99-2001 version), I would have Across the Nation as second. |

"Across the Nation" was a good opening intro theme to Raw. "To Be Loved" was okay but I never though it was good for an opening intro theme for Raw. "Burn It To The Ground" is a good song to use, even if Nickelback isn't the most popular band to people.
As for SmackDown, "Beautiful People" was one of my favorites, with the original "Rise Up" song second. "If You Rock Like Me" and "Know Your Enemy" are horrible opening intro themes, they should of kept "Let It Roll".

i liked all the thems except the ones after smackdowns "rise up" by drowning pool and raws "move to the music" by union underground everything after those have sucked

I love what seems to be the forgotten theme from 2004 which believe is called " I want it all" from Smackdown!.
